なお図2中では、被横シール部位102aのおかれる位置が、製袋筒3の下端開口部よりも上方にあるが、この位置は充填筒4の吐出口4aよりも上方であれば製袋筒3の下端開口部より下方であっても構わない。ただし、製袋筒3によって直接製品を搬送する構成(すなわち充填筒4を備えていない)の縦形製袋充填包装機は、製袋筒3の下端開口部が製品落下口となるため、被横シール部位102aがおかれる位置よりも下方に、製袋筒3の下端開口部が延出している必要がある。

前記各ガセット折り込み手段は、
前記筒状の包装フィルムに対し、その一側部の厚さ方向中央位置を、上下方向に所定長さにわたって内側へ押し込む中央折り部と、
前記中央折り部によって押し込まれる包装フィルムの側部中央線の上端またはその上方位置に任意の仮想点を設定し、この仮想点と前記製袋筒の下端側面における厚さ方向の両角部とを結ぶ稜線部分を折り込む稜線折り部と、を備え
