Claims (13)
- 互いに積層された複数個の二次電池と、前記二次電池を収容するハウジング・アセンブリを、それぞれ有する複数個のバッテリ・モジュールと、
前記複数個のバッテリ・モジュールのうち少なくとも1つのバッテリ・モジュールのハウジング・アセンブリの周囲に延びる少なくとも1つの補強プレートと、を具備し、
前記複数個のバッテリ・モジュールのうち第1バッテリ・モジュールの少なくとも1つの前記補強プレートと、前記複数個のバッテリ・モジュールのうち第2バッテリ・モジュールの少なくとも1つの前記補強プレートとが、互いに結合され、
前記複数個のバッテリ・モジュールのうち第1バッテリ・モジュールの少なくとも1つの前記補強プレートから延びる少なくとも一つの連結部と、前記複数個のバッテリ・モジュールのうち第2バッテリ・モジュールの少なくとも1つの前記補強プレートから延びる少なくとも一つの連結部と、に連結される少なくとも1つの連結部材をさらに具備するバッテリ・パック。 - 前記少なくとも1つの連結部材は、前記第1バッテリ・モジュールの少なくとも1つの前記補強プレートと、前記第2バッテリ・モジュールの少なくとも1つの前記補強プレートとに、溶接によって連結されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリ・パック。
- 前記第1バッテリ・モジュールの少なくとも1つの前記補強プレートのうち一つは、前記第2バッテリ・モジュールの少なくとも1つの前記補強プレートのうち一つから、前記連結部材によって離れて配されたことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のバッテリ・パック。
- 前記各連結部は、螺合部が形成されたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリ・モジュール
- 前記少なくとも1つの連結部は、前記補強プレートから、前記二次電池から遠ざかる方向に延長されたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリ・パック。
- 前記複数個のバッテリ・モジュールのうち第1バッテリ・モジュールの少なくとも1つの前記補強プレートの少なくとも1つの前記連結部は、前記複数個のバッテリ・モジュールのうち隣接した第2バッテリ・モジュールの少なくとも1つの前記補強プレートの少なくとも1つの前記連結部と、位置ずれして配されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリ・パック。
- 少なくとも1つの前記連結部材に複数個の開口部が形成され、前記複数個の開口部の各々は、前記連結部のうち一つを収容するように構成されたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリ・パック。
- 少なくとも1つの前記連結部材は、それぞれ複数個の前記補強プレートのうち少なくとも1つの他の補強プレートと連結されたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリ・パック。
- 前記複数個のバッテリ・モジュールのうちいずれか1つのバッテリ・モジュールの前記ハウジング・アセンブリの周囲を完全に取り囲むように延びた少なくとも1つの前記補強プレートを具備することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリ・パック。
- 前記ハウジング・アセンブリは、前記二次電池の第1側及び第2側に沿ってそれぞれ延びる第1プレートと第2プレートとを具備し、前記第1プレート及び前記第2プレートのうち少なくとも一つは、少なくとも1つの前記補強プレートを収容する溝部が形成されたことを特徴とする請求項1項に記載のバッテリ・パック。
- 前記ハウジング・アセンブリは、前記二次電池の第3側に沿って延びる第3プレートをさらに具備し、前記第3プレートは、少なくとも1つの前記補強プレートのうち一つを収容するように溝部が形成されたことを特徴とする請求項10に記載のバッテリ・パック。
- 前記二次電池は、それぞれ少なくとも1つの前記補強プレートから絶縁される電極端子カバーで覆われた電極端子を具備することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリ・パック。
- 前記少なくとも1つの各補強プレートの形状は、実質的に四角形であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリ・パック。
