Claims (9)
- 発電を停止している燃料電池の起動を制御する燃料電池装置であって、
燃料電池の発電電力を充電するバッテリの充電可能量を算出する充電可能量算出手段と、
算出した充電可能量に基づいて、燃料電池に対して要求する出力エネルギを算出する要求出力エネルギ算出手段と、
前記要求出力エネルギと、その要求出力エネルギを得るために発電停止中の燃料電池に投入するエネルギと、の比であるエネルギ効率を算出するエネルギ効率算出手段と、
前記エネルギ効率が基準値よりも大きいときには燃料電池を起動し、小さいときには燃料電池を起動しない起動制御手段と、
を有する燃料電池装置。 - 前記バッテリの消費速度を検出するバッテリ消費速度検出手段をさらに備え、
前記基準値は、前記バッテリ消費速度が大きいほど小さく補正される、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料電池装置。 - 前記燃料電池が起動を完了するまでに要する時間を推定する起動時間推定手段をさらに備え、
前記基準値は、前記推定された起動時間が大きいほど小さく補正される、
ことを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の燃料電池装置。 - 前記燃料電池は車両に搭載され、
前記車両が長距離走行を予定する長距離走行モードであるのか短距離走行を予定する短距離走行モードであるのかを判定する走行モード判定手段をさらに備え、
前記基準値は、長距離走行モードのときには大きく補正され、短距離走行モードのときには小さく補正される、
ことを特徴とする請求項1から請求項3までのいずれか1項に記載の燃料電池装置。 - 前記起動制御手段は、燃料電池の起動エネルギが下限基準値よりも小さいときには、エネルギ効率の大小にかかわらず、燃料電池を起動する、
ことを特徴とする請求項1から請求項4までのいずれか1項に記載の燃料電池装置。 - 前記起動制御手段は、前記バッテリの残量が下限基準値よりも小さいときには、エネルギ効率の大小にかかわらず、燃料電池を起動する、
ことを特徴とする請求項1から請求項5までのいずれか1項に記載の燃料電池装置。 - 前記燃料電池は、固体酸化物形燃料電池である、
ことを特徴とする請求項1から請求項6までのいずれか1項に記載の燃料電池装置。 - 発電を停止している燃料電池の起動を判定する燃料電池起動判定装置であって、
燃料電池の発電電力を充電するバッテリの充電可能量を算出する充電可能量算出手段と、
算出した充電可能量に基づいて、燃料電池に対して要求する出力エネルギを算出する要求出力エネルギ算出手段と、
前記要求出力エネルギと、その要求出力エネルギを得るために発電停止中の燃料電池に投入するエネルギと、の比であるエネルギ効率を算出するエネルギ効率算出手段と、
前記エネルギ効率が基準値よりも大きいときには燃料電池の起動することを判定し、小さいときには燃料電池を起動しないことを判定する起動判定手段と、
を有する燃料電池起動判定装置。 - 発電を停止している燃料電池の起動を判定する燃料電池起動判定方法であって、
燃料電池の発電電力を充電するバッテリの充電可能量を算出する充電可能量算出工程と、
算出した充電可能量に基づいて、燃料電池に対して要求する出力エネルギを算出する要求出力エネルギ算出工程と、
前記要求出力エネルギと、その要求出力エネルギを得るために発電停止中の燃料電池に投入するエネルギと、の比であるエネルギ効率を算出するエネルギ効率算出工程と、
前記エネルギ効率が基準値よりも大きいときには燃料電池の起動することを判定し、小さいときには燃料電池を起動しないことを判定する起動判定工程と、
を有する燃料電池起動判定方法。
