Description

The present invention relates to a water discharge device, and more particularly to a water discharge device formed by forming a water discharge pipe using a square pipe material.

Conventionally, when viewed from the user, that is, when viewed from the front with respect to the water discharge pipe, the water discharge device has a flat shape that is long in the left-right direction and short in the front-rear direction, and the water discharge device is a waterfall discharge port that discharges water just like a waterfall. It is known as a faucet discharging device that supplies water.
For example, the following Patent Document 1, Patent Document 2, and Patent Document 3 disclose an example of a water discharge device having this type of waterfall outlet.

Conventionally, a water discharge device having a waterfall outlet of this type has a water discharge pipe made of cast metal, and a water discharge member having the flat water discharge port is attached to the tip of the water discharge pipe made of casting. And configured a water discharge device.

However, a water discharge device using such a casting water discharge pipe inevitably becomes thick and large in appearance, and it is possible to constitute a water discharge device that is slim and clean in appearance. In addition to being difficult, the cost is high, and post-processing such as cutting for attaching the water outlet member is also required.

Therefore, it is conceivable to use a flat pipe material having an inner peripheral shape of the transverse section that is long in the left-right direction as the water discharge pipe. However, when such a pipe material is used, normally, a rectangular pipe material having a horizontally long inner peripheral shape is used.

By configuring the water discharge pipe using such a square pipe material, it is possible to easily configure a water discharge device having an appearance that is small and slim in appearance, and it is possible to reduce the cost at a low cost. Necessary post-processing can also be eliminated.
However, in this case, there is a problem with the seal structure between the water discharge port member and the water discharge pipe attached in the inserted state at the tip of the water discharge pipe.

As a seal structure between the spout member and the spout pipe, an O-ring (an elastic seal member having a ring shape having no corners over the entire circumference) is attached to the outer peripheral surface of the spout member, It is conceivable that the O-ring is elastically compressed and sealed in the radial direction between the outer peripheral surface of the water outlet member and the inner peripheral surface of the water discharge pipe, but when the water discharge pipe is configured using a square pipe material, The outer peripheral shape (cross-sectional shape) of the O-ring mounting portion of the water discharge port member is a curved surface shape that is continuous in the circumferential direction such as an elliptical shape, and the O-ring is held there, and this is the inner periphery of the water discharge pipe It will be pressed against the surface in the radial direction and sealed, but in the water discharge pipe constructed using a square pipe material, the inner peripheral shape is a shape having a corner, so the O-ring is radially in the corner I ca n’t pinch it, It can not be achieved the required seal.

Of course, it is not conceivable that the outer peripheral shape of the mounting portion of the O-ring in the water discharge port member is rectangular, but in this case as well, the O-ring is elastically compressed uniformly over the entire periphery to cause a sealing action. That is difficult in practice.

In addition, as the sealing structure, the water outlet member is pushed into the water discharge pipe made of a square pipe material, and the seal member is sandwiched in the tube axis direction between the water discharge port member and the water discharge pipe to be elastically compressed and sealed. However, in that case, in order to push the water outlet member and maintain it in the pushed state, it is necessary to screw a screw or the like from the front end surface of the water outlet member to fix the water outlet member to the water outlet pipe. .

However, when a seal is secured using a screw or the like in this way, a space for screw screwing is required on the tip surface of the water discharge port member, and in particular, a waterfall port that needs to ensure a wide water discharge port in the left-right direction. In a water discharge device having a water discharge port, it is difficult to ensure such a space.

In order to perform waterfall-like water discharge that looks beautiful from the waterfall outlet, it is desirable to make the waterfall outlet wide as wide as possible in the left and right direction. However, a space for screw screwing is provided on the tip of the water outlet member. Then, the width in the left-right direction of the water outlet becomes inevitably small, and it becomes impossible to realize water discharge like a wide and beautiful waterfall.

As described above, the water discharge device having the waterfall outlet has been described as a representative example, but the square pipe material is used to configure the water discharge pipe, and the shape of the water outlet is different from the inner peripheral shape of the square pipe material. When a separate spout member is attached to the spout pipe and the seal member is sealed by elastic compression in the tube axis direction with the spout member and the spout pipe, the problem is that the spout narrows to the left or right or front and rear. In the point which arises, also in the water discharging apparatus which has water outlets other than a waterfall outlet water outlet, the same problem as the above arises.

In addition, as a prior art with respect to the present invention, Patent Document 4 discloses that a water discharge port member is attached to the distal end portion of the water discharge pipe in an inserted state.
However, what is disclosed in Patent Document 4 is a form in which a water flow flexible tube inserted inside a water discharge pipe is connected as a water supply hose to a rectifying mechanism (water discharge port member). There is no need to seal between the two (thus, the one described in this document does not include a sealing member for that purpose), and the one disclosed in Patent Document 4 cannot solve the problem of the present invention. This is different from the present invention.

Another prior art to the present invention is disclosed in Patent Document 5. That is, this Patent Document 5 discloses a point in which a rectifying member (a water discharge port member) is attached in an inserted state at a distal end portion of an outflow pipe (a water discharge pipe). The seal structure between the water outlet member and the tip of the water discharge pipe is not shown, and is different from the present invention.

Effects and effects of the invention

As described above, the present invention relates to a water discharge pipe configured using a square pipe material having an inner peripheral shape of a square shape, and a portion corresponding to the corner of the water discharge pipe has a curved surface on the inner peripheral surface. A fitting member that forms a female fitting surface that also serves as a sealing surface that forms a continuous surface without forming a corner is inserted into the inside from the opening at the tip of the water discharge pipe, and this is sealed over the entire circumference. In this state, the fixing member is fixed to the water discharge pipe, and the mounting member has a male fitting surface having a shape corresponding to the female fitting surface on the outer peripheral surface, and a ring-shaped seal member is held on the male fitting surface. The water outlet member is fitted to the female fitting surface in the male fitting surface so that the sealing member is elastically compressed in the radial direction between the male fitting surface and the female fitting surface, and the water outlet in the fitted state. The member is fixed to the water discharge pipe by a fixing means.

According to this invention, while forming a water discharge pipe using a square pipe material, by attaching a water discharge port member to this, a water discharge device can be constituted at low cost, and the water discharge port in the water discharge device is a square pipe. It can be made into a desired water outlet shape different from the inner peripheral shape of the material, and a seal member such as an O-ring is elastically compressed in the radial direction, so that a good space between the water outlet member and the water discharge pipe can be attached. A watertight seal can be achieved through the member.

In addition, since a ring-shaped seal member can be used that is elastically compressed in the radial direction and seals, the seal member is sealed by elastically compressing the seal member in the tube axis direction between the water discharge port member and the water discharge pipe. It is not necessary to screw a screw or the like for elastically compressing the member in the tube axis direction and maintaining the compressed state from the front end surface of the water outlet, that is, a space for screwing the screw or the like is secured on the front end surface of the water outlet. There is no need, and this makes it possible to secure a sufficient space for the water discharge port on the front end surface of the water discharge port, so that a desired water discharge port shape can be easily realized.

Here, the mounting member has an angular male fitting surface corresponding to the inner peripheral shape of the water discharge pipe on the outer peripheral surface, and the mounting member is fitted to the inner peripheral surface of the water discharge pipe on the male fitting surface. Thus, the space between the male fitting surface and the inner peripheral surface of the water discharge pipe can be sealed over the entire circumference (claim 2).

Further, the water discharge pipe and the attachment member can be made of metal, and can be welded all around to be joined to each other in a sealed state (Claim 3).

Next, a fourth aspect of the present invention is that the water outlet member is held in a state of crossing the water channel by using a strainer formed by dispersing and forming fine pores for passing water in a planar shape as a rectifying member. In this case, the water discharged from the water discharge port of the water discharge port member can be discharged as clean water discharge in a rectified state by the strainer that functions as the flow straightening member.

According to claim 5, the water discharge pipe is configured by using a rectangular pipe material whose inner peripheral shape is a horizontally long rectangular shape, and the shape of the water discharge port is a horizontally long flat shape in the left-right direction, and the water discharge is discharged in a waterfall shape. According to claim 5, it is possible to discharge waterfall-like water discharge that is beautifully seen from the water outlet.

According to a sixth aspect of the present invention, a fixing means for fixing the water discharge port member in a retaining state can be operated from the outside of the water discharge pipe, and the water discharge port member is fixed detachably. According to this, when it becomes necessary to maintain the spout member, the spout member can be easily taken out from the spout pipe to perform maintenance work.

In particular, when the strainer is held as a rectifying member in the water outlet member according to claim 4, fine sand or other foreign matter may adhere to the strainer and cause clogging. In this case, the water outlet member is removed. This makes it easy to clean the strainer and eliminate clogging.
When the strainer is clogged, the rectifying action by the strainer is not performed well, and the discharged water is disturbed, and the aesthetic appearance of the discharged water is impaired.

In particular, in the case where the water outlet is formed as a waterfall outlet according to claim 5 and the water discharged from the water outlet is discharged in a waterfall shape, if the strainer is clogged, the waterfall looks beautiful. The water discharge becomes incomplete waterfall-like water discharge, and there is a problem in that the aesthetics are greatly impaired even by slight clogging of the strainer.
However, according to the sixth aspect, by allowing the water discharge port member to be detachable, the beauty of the water discharge can always be kept at the desired beauty.

In the faucet 18, the lever handle 28 is rotated left and right in the drawing to change the mixing ratio of hot water, that is, the temperature of the discharged water is adjusted, and the water volume is adjusted by rotating the lever handle 28 up and down. Is done.

The faucet body 20 is provided with a connection port 30 for connecting a water and hot water supply pipe. Water and hot water sent through the supply pipe enter the faucet body through the connection port 30, and the water and hot water are mixed by the mixing valve.
The mixed water flows out to the outflow pipe 32 extending from the faucet body 20 and is further sent to the water discharge device 22 through the flexible hose 34 connected to the outflow pipe 32.
An operation rod 36 for operating the drain plug 14 is provided on the water discharger 22 side so as to be movable up and down.

The faucet body 20 and the water discharger 22 are inserted through the insertion portions 38 and 40 downward into the mounting holes of the counter portion 16, and the fixing nuts are tightened into the male screw portions 42 on the back side of the counter portion 16. 16 is fixedly attached.

In FIG. 2, reference numeral 44 denotes a water discharge pipe which is a main element of the water discharge device 22, and has a gooseneck shape that is entirely U-shaped.
Here, the water discharge pipe 44 has a laterally long rectangular shape in the lateral direction (left and right direction in the front view as viewed from the user) in both the inner and outer circumferential shapes, and the same transverse section over the entire length. It is constructed using a square pipe material made of metal (brass in this example).

The structure of the front end portion of the water discharging device 22 is specifically shown in FIGS.
As shown in the drawing, the distal end portion of the water discharge device 22 is configured by assembling a water discharge port member 46 together with an attachment member 48 for attachment to a water discharge pipe 44 made of a square pipe material.

Here, the attachment member 48 is made of metal (made of brass in this example), and has a rectangular cylindrical shape as a whole.
For more information, and it forms an overall oblong rectangular outer peripheral shape corresponding to the inner peripheral shape of water discharge pipe 44, a right-angled corner portions K 2 to the entire outer peripheral surface of the four corners, as also shown in FIG. 6 A rectangular male fitting surface 50 is formed.

Attachment member 48 is in a state to match the corners K 2 at a corner portion K 1 of the inner peripheral shape of water discharge pipe 44, fitted to the inner peripheral surface of the water discharge pipe 44 is inserted into the opening of the distal end of the water discharge pipe 44 4 and 5, under the fitted state, the upper end side in the figure is welded (brazed or soldered) to the water discharge pipe 44 and sealed to the water discharge pipe 44. It is joined with.

In FIG. 4 and FIG. 5, reference numeral 52 represents a welded portion.
The welded joint portion 52 also serves as a seal portion that seals the outer peripheral surface of the attachment member 48 and the inner peripheral surface of the water discharge pipe 44 over the entire circumference.
4 and 5, the mounting member 48 has a bank portion 54 that rises in a quadrangular ring shape upward in the figure at a position slightly pulled from the male fitting surface 50 to the center side. Yes.

Here, welding of the attachment member 48 to the water discharge pipe 44 can be performed as follows.
That is, as shown in FIG. 8 (I), the attachment member 48 is inserted into the water discharge pipe 44 and the welding material 56 is annularly arranged at the outer peripheral position of the attachment member 48 from the outside of the water discharge pipe 44. By heating this with a burner or the like and melting the welding material 56, the attachment member 48 can be welded to the water discharge pipe 44 over the entire circumference.

The attachment member 48 has its inner peripheral surface, also serves as a sealing surface forming a continuous surface without a corner portion corresponding to K 1 of the water discharge pipe 44 to form a corner portion over the entire circumference and forms a curved female The fitting surface 58 is used.
Here, as shown in FIG. 3, the female fitting surface 58 that also serves as the sealing surface has a semicircular shape that connects the front and rear inner surfaces 60 with the front and rear sides extending in parallel in the left-right direction in the figure. A horizontally long ellipse or an oval shape connected by a curved surface 62, specifically, a track ellipse shape (ground track shape) is formed.

On the other hand, the spout member 46 is made of resin (in this embodiment, made of PPO resin (polyphenylene oxide resin)) and has a tubular shape as a whole, and a spout penetrating in the tube axis direction of the spout pipe 44 inside thereof. A water port 64 is provided.

Here, the water discharge port 64 has a horizontally long flat slit shape that is long in the left-right direction and short in the front-rear direction in a front view, and forms a waterfall discharge port that discharges water discharge in a waterfall shape.
The water outlet 64 is an inclined surface having a shape that gradually increases the width in the left-right direction of the water outlet 64 as the inner surface at the left and right positions in FIG. 4 advances toward the tip (lower end in the figure).

On the other hand, the inner surfaces at the front and rear positions in a direction perpendicular to this are straight surfaces extending in parallel from the base end toward the tip end as shown in FIG.
However, the inner surfaces of the front and rear positions may be inclined surfaces that gradually narrow the front and rear widths of the water discharge port 64 from the base end toward the tip end as shown in FIG.
A rectifying plate 66 extending vertically in the tube axis direction is integrally provided on the inner surface of the water discharge port member 46 as shown in FIG.

As shown in FIGS. 3 and 7, an upper outer peripheral surface of the water discharge port member 46 is a track elliptical male fitting surface 68 corresponding to the female fitting surface 58 of the mounting member 48.
The male fitting surface 68 is formed with a holding groove 70 having an annular shape in the circumferential direction, and holds an O-ring 72 (see FIGS. 4 and 5) as a sealing member having elasticity.

The water discharge port member 46 is attached to the water discharge pipe 44 via the attachment member 48 by fitting the male fitting surface 68 to the female fitting surface 58 of the attachment member 48.
At this time, the O-ring 72 held in the holding groove 70 of the male fitting surface 68 is elastically compressed in the radial direction over the entire circumference by the male fitting surface 68 and the female fitting surface 58 of the mounting member 48. Under an elastically compressed state, the mounting member 48 and the water outlet member 46 are sealed in a watertight manner over the entire circumference.

The water discharge port member 46 is composed of a mesh member, a punching metal material, and the like, and foreign matter removing strainers 74-1 and 74-2 formed by dispersing and forming fine pores for water passage over the entire surface. It is attached and held via a strainer holding member 76 in a transverse state.

The strainer holding member 76 has a ring shape with a predetermined thickness in which the outer peripheral surface and the inner peripheral surface each form a track ellipse shape, and the strainer 74-1 is provided on the upper mounting surface 78-1 in the drawing, and the lower surface is also provided on the lower surface. The strainer 74-2 is fixedly attached to the attachment surface 78-2, and the strainers 74-1 and 74-2 are held by the strainer holding member 76 so as to be spaced apart from each other in the drawing.

The ring-shaped strainer holding member 76 is provided with an engagement piece 80 that protrudes downward in the figure and has a reverse T-shape in front, and this engagement piece 80 is a male part of the spout member 46. The strainer holding member 76 is attached to the upper end of the spout member 46 by engaging with the corresponding inverted T-shaped engaging grooves 82 formed on the fitting surface 68, and a pair of strainers It is held together with 74-1 and 74-2.

The water discharge port member 46 is also provided with a quadrangular contact portion 84 projecting radially outward at an intermediate position in the vertical direction (the tube axis direction of the water discharge pipe 44) in the drawing.
When the spout member 46 is inserted into the attachment member 48, the abutment portion 84 abuts against the lower end of the attachment member 48 in the figure, whereby the amount of insertion is regulated.

The water discharge port member 46 is also provided with a horizontally-long rectangular closing portion 86 that closes the front end opening of the water discharge pipe 44 while leaving the water discharge port 64 at the front end (lower end in the drawing).
The water discharge port member 46 is inserted into the water discharge pipe 44, and the closing portion 86 is fitted into the inner peripheral surface of the front end of the water discharge pipe 44 so as to be fitted therein. Close the surrounding area.

As shown in FIG. 7, the front and rear surfaces of the water discharge port member 46 are symmetrical in the front-rear direction, and rectangular engagement recesses 88 that are elongated in the left-right direction are provided on the respective surfaces.
The reason why the front surface and the rear surface are symmetrical is that attachment is possible even when the front-rear direction is reversed when the spout member 46 is attached.

In FIG. 3, 90 is a fixing member (here, made of resin) for removably fixing the water discharge port member 46 to the water discharge pipe 44 in the engagement recess 88. The water discharge pipe 44 corresponds to this. A through-hole fixing hole 92 having a long hole shape is provided on the left and right sides.

As shown in FIG. 5, the fixing member 90 has elastic claws 93 having elasticity in the left-right direction at the left and right ends thereof, and between the pair of elastic claws 93, An engaging protrusion 94 that engages with the engaging recess 88 is provided.
Here, each of the pair of elastic claws 93 is provided with inclined cam surfaces 95 and 96 which are inclined in the opposite directions up and down in FIG.
A stepped portion 98 is provided at the base of the engaging protrusion 94.

The fixing member 90 fixes the water outlet member 46 to the water discharge pipe 44 as follows.
That is, as shown in FIG. 5, the spout member 46 is inserted into the spout pipe 44 and the male fitting surface 68 is fixed to the female fitting surface 58 of the mounting member 48. When the member 90 is pushed into the fixing hole 92 of the water discharge pipe 44, the pair of elastic claws 93 are elastically deformed in the direction approaching each other by the cam action of the cam surface 95, and the fixing member 90 is moved into the fixing hole 92 with the elastic deformation. It is inserted.
At this time, the pair of elastic claws 93 that have passed through the fixing hole 92 of the water discharge pipe 44 engage with the edge of the fixing hole 92 on the cam surface 96 and are fixed to the water discharge pipe 44.

At this time, the engaging protrusion 94 of the fixing member 90 enters and engages in the engaging recess 88 of the water outlet member 46, where the water outlet member 46 is the water outlet pipe 44, specifically, the attachment member 48. It is fixed to the removal state.
The fixing member 90 can be easily removed when necessary, after being fixed to the water discharge pipe 44 in this manner.

Specifically, when a force in the extraction direction is applied to the stepped portion 98 of the fixing member 90 by applying the tip of a tool such as a flat-blade screwdriver, the pair of elastic claws 93 of the fixing member 90 are brought into contact with each other by the cam action of the cam surface 96. By elastically deforming in the approaching direction, the engagement of the pair of elastic claws 93 with the fixing hole 92 of the water discharge pipe 44 is released, and the fixing member 90 can be removed from the water discharge pipe 44 here.
Thus, by removing the fixing member 90, the water discharge port member 46 can be easily pulled out from the mounting member 48 and the water discharge pipe 44.

FIG. 8 shows a procedure for attaching the water outlet member 46 in the present embodiment.
As described above, in this embodiment, as shown in FIG. 8 (I), the attachment member 48 is inserted together with the welding material 56 to the inside of the water discharge pipe 44 and to a depth of a certain depth, and in that state, welding is performed from around the water discharge pipe 44. The material 56 is heated with a burner or the like to melt the welding material 56, and the attachment member 48 is welded to the water discharge pipe 44.

Then, under the state where the pair of strainers 74-1 and 74-2 is assembled to the water discharge port member 46 by the strainer holding member 76, the water discharge port member 46 is inserted into the water discharge pipe 44 from the front end opening thereof, Then, the male fitting surface 68 of the water outlet member 46 is fitted to the female fitting surface 58 of the attachment member 48.
And then, by fitting the fixing member 90 into the fixing hole 92 of the water discharge pipe 44, the water discharge port member 46 can be fixed in a detachable state from the water discharge pipe 44.

In the case of this embodiment, the water sent to the water discharge pipe 44 through the hose 34 in FIG. 2 flows to the tip side along the water discharge pipe 44 with the inner peripheral surface of the water discharge pipe 44 as a direct water flow surface, and first the water discharge port It flows through a pair of strainers 74-1 and 74-2 held by the member 46.
At this time, the flow of water is rectified in two stages by the pair of strainers 74-1 and 74-2, and the flow is first adjusted by the strainers 74-1 and 74-2 at the proximal end portion of the water discharge port member 46.

Thus, the water flowing to the tip side of the water discharge pipe 44 passes through the pair of strainers 74-1 and 74-2 due to non-uniform flow velocity distribution and non-uniform flow direction distribution along the way. The water flow shape is adjusted in accordance with the shape of the water discharge port 64 of the water discharge port member 46, and finally the water discharge port 64 of the waterfall port that has a flat shape in the left-right direction. It is discharged downward as waterfall-like water discharge from the tip (exit).

According to the present embodiment as described above, the water discharge pipe 44 is configured by using the rectangular pipe material whose inner peripheral shape is a horizontally long rectangular shape, and the water discharge port member 46 is attached to the water discharge pipe member 44. The water outlet 64 can be formed into a water outlet shape different from the inner peripheral shape of the square pipe material, and the O-ring 72 is elastically compressed in the radial direction, so that the water outlet member 46 and the water discharge pipe 44 can be well formed. The space can be in a watertight seal state via the attachment member 48.

In addition, since an O-ring 72 that acts as a seal by elastically compressing in the radial direction can be used, the seal member is sealed by elastically compressing the seal member in the tube axis direction by the water discharge port member 46 and the water discharge pipe 44. A screw or the like for elastically compressing the member in the tube axis direction and maintaining the compressed state may not be screwed from the front end surface of the water discharge port 64, that is, a space for screwing the screw or the like is provided in the front end surface of the water discharge port 64. This does not have to be ensured, and as a result, a sufficient space for the spout 64 can be secured on the front end surface of the spout 64, and a desired waterfall shape of the waterfall can be easily realized. .

Further, since the water outlet member 46 holds the strainers 74-1 and 74-2 as rectifying members so as to cross the water channel, the water discharged from the water outlet 64 is discharged as a beautiful waterfall-like flow in the rectified state. be able to.

Further, since the fixing member for fixing the water outlet member 46 in the retaining state can be operated from the outside of the water discharge pipe 44 and the water outlet member 46 is detachably fixed, the water outlet member 46 is maintained. When the necessity arises, the spout member 46 can be easily taken out from the spout pipe 44 to perform maintenance work on the strainers 74-1 and 74-2 and the like.

When fine sand or other foreign matter adheres to the strainers 74-1 and 74-2 and clogs occur, the rectifying action by the strainers 74-1 and 74-2 is not performed well, and the waterfall water discharge is disturbed. It becomes a thing and the beauty of water discharge is spoiled.
However, according to the present embodiment, by making the water discharge port member 46 holding the strainers 74-1 and 74-2 detachable, the beauty of the water discharge can always be kept at the desired beauty.
