Description
The present invention relates to an inspection apparatus that can inspect the thickness and surface defects of a curved structure such as a pipe while traveling on the surface.
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, a defect inspection apparatus that is magnetically attached to a metal structure made of a magnetic material and self-runs on the metal structure and inspects the thickness, the presence or absence of defects on the surface, and the like has been known. In particular, when the inspection object is a structure having a curved surface such as piping (referred to as a curvature structure), it is desirable that the inspection apparatus can move following the surface shape so as not to drop off the surface. For this reason, for example, in
Further,
As shown in these patent documents, the self-propelled inspection device has a configuration in which it is magnetically attached to a metal structure and is self-propelled on the surface thereof, and therefore a part having a magnetic force such as a permanent magnet or an electromagnet. Must be able to move following the surface shape of the structure. In this regard, according to the tuning means disclosed in
However, the surface of the actual inspection object is not smooth, and there are many unevennesses such as steps due to welding, corrosion, scratches, and patches for collecting corrosion and scratches. The height can range from 3 to 10 mm. Therefore, when one of the pair of body parts rides on the convex part, the structure of each body part swinging symmetrically also affects the other body parts, and as a result, the attitude of the carriage part equipped with the inspection device There is a risk that accurate measurement may not be possible due to the change of. Further, depending on the height of the convex portion, the inspection device itself may fall from the inspection object.
Therefore, the present invention is equipped with a mechanism that can absorb the influence of the protrusion even when the inspection object has a convex portion or the like, and can always inspect accurately, and there is no risk of dropping from the inspection object. An object is to provide an apparatus.
In order to achieve the above object, the invention of
According to a second aspect of the present invention, in the inspection apparatus according to the first aspect, the pair of traveling units have independent left and right drive units.
According to a third aspect of the present invention, in the inspection apparatus according to the first or second aspect, each of the pair of traveling units is magnetized to the inspection object and can travel on the inspection object; And a rotationally driven scraper that contacts the magnet wheel.
According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, in the inspection apparatus according to any one of the first to third aspects, the connecting portion includes a ball joint that connects each of the pair of running portions and the support portion. To do.
Invention of Claim 5 is an inspection apparatus in any one of Claims 1-4. WHEREIN: The said support part further has an adjustment mechanism for adjusting the distance of the said test | inspection part and the said test target object, The adjustment mechanism is configured to be disposed at each of four corners of a rectangle having sides parallel to the horizontal direction and the front-rear direction of the inspection unit on the bottom surface of the support unit, and is in contact with the surface of the inspection object. Four abutting members, and an adjusting member for adjusting a vertical distance of the four abutting members with respect to the support portion, and at least two of the four abutting members are provided on the pair of traveling portions. Each magnet wheel is arranged so as to be substantially in line with the magnet wheel.
According to a sixth aspect of the present invention, in the inspection apparatus according to the fifth aspect, the distance between two abutting members facing in the left-right direction and the two abutting members facing in the front-rear direction among the four abutting members. The distances are equal to each other.
A seventh aspect of the present invention provides the inspection apparatus according to any one of the first to sixth aspects, wherein a damper is provided between the inspection portion and the support portion and between at least one of the support portion and the traveling portion. It is characterized by providing.
The invention of claim 8 is the curvature structure inspection apparatus according to claim 7, wherein the inspection part is connected to the support part via a dashpot.
In the inspection apparatus of the present invention, it is not necessary to mutually connect a pair of running parts provided on the left and right sides of the support part, and therefore each running part can be moved independently. In addition, since each traveling unit has a fall prevention mechanism for preventing it from falling off the pipe to be inspected, it can be freely displaced within a range limited by the fall prevention mechanism. Therefore, even when one traveling part rides on a convex part on the surface of the inspection object, the traveling part can be displaced without affecting the other traveling part. A change in the positional relationship of the inspection unit with respect to the object can be prevented.
In addition, since the pair of traveling units includes a drive unit that does not require left and right tuning, the weight and size of the tuning mechanism can be reduced as compared with the device described in
According to the invention of claim 3, the magnet wheel can be kept clean by providing the scraper on the magnet wheel traveling on the inspection object. In particular, when the scraper is driven to rotate in the same direction as the magnet wheel, the effect of scraping foreign matter on the surface of the magnet wheel can be improved.
By using a ball joint for the connecting part, it is possible to realize a configuration in which the traveling part can take an arbitrary posture with respect to the connecting part.
According to the invention of claim 4, when the inspection device rides on a protrusion on the surface of the inspection object by arranging at least two of the four abutting members so as to be substantially in line with the magnet wheel. The number of shocks and vibrations can be reduced.
According to the invention of claim 5, by making the distance between the two contact members facing in the left-right direction out of the four contact members equal to the distance between the two contact members facing in the front-rear direction. In many cases, the distance between the inspection object and the inspection unit can be kept constant even when the direction of the inspection apparatus changes. Particularly on the piping, even when the orientation of the inspection device changes from the longitudinal direction of the piping to the circumferential direction or vice versa, the distance between the piping and the inspection unit can be kept constant.
According to the inventions of claims 6 and 7, by providing a damper between the inspection section and the support section, it is possible to prevent or reduce the vibration and impact received by the inspection apparatus from reaching the inspection section, and to perform high-precision inspection. Can be done. In particular, by connecting the inspection unit to the support unit using a dash pot, vibrations and shocks received by the inspection unit can be more effectively prevented or reduced.
Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described.
FIG. 1 is an external perspective view of an
The
The pair of running
In addition, about the
The pair of running
Next, a structure for preventing the
Next, the structure in the traveling unit will be described with reference to FIG. 3 which is a bottom view. The traveling
FIG. 4 is a diagram showing the structure of the
On the
FIG. 3 shows the rotational drive means of the
In this embodiment, the rotation drive of the magnet wheel and the rotation drive of the scraper are performed by one
The shape of the scraper contact part, that is, the edge part with respect to the wheel may be any shape as long as it has a scraping action on the surface of the wheel part. It is preferable to be able to perform. For example, as shown in FIGS. 5 (a) and 5 (b), a
As described above, the scraper and the wheel rotate in the same direction, but in order to perform scraping with the scraper more efficiently, it is preferable that the rotation speed of the scraper is considerably higher than the rotation speed of the vehicle. For example, when a scraper as shown in FIG. 5 is used at a rotation speed ratio of 15: 1 with respect to the wheel, scraping operation is performed four times per rotation of the scraper, so that the scraping operation is performed 60 times during one rotation of the wheel. It can be performed. Thus, the scraping operation can be performed a suitable number of times by appropriately setting the number of edge portions and the rotation speed ratio of the scraper.
Many of the general scrapers are fixed and arranged without rotating, but in such a scraper, dirt or the like scraped on the scraper itself adheres or accumulates, and the scraping effect may be reduced in a short time. Therefore, frequent cleaning is required. However, in the case of a scraper that is actively driven to rotate, the scraped dirt or the like is highly likely to fall without adhering to the scraper, and therefore the frequency of scraper cleaning can be greatly reduced. As the material of the scraper, a non-magnetic material that is not affected by the magnetic force of the magnet wheel and having a certain degree of wear resistance can be used. For example, stainless steel is preferable.
In the above-described embodiment, the structure using the arm, the swing bar, and the pivot shaft is used to swing the traveling
For stable traveling of the
The
Further, as shown in FIG. 7, the distance between the casters in the left-right direction, that is, the distance S1 between the
According to the inspection apparatus according to the present invention, even if there is a step or the like on the surface of an inspection object such as a pipe, it is possible to prevent the apparatus from falling due to riding on the step. However, various protrusions and dents such as welds and corrosion are often present on the surface of the actual inspection object. Therefore, in the inspection device, it is caused by the running part riding on such protrusions. In some cases, the vibration to be applied reaches the inspection unit such as a sensor through the traveling unit. In order to prevent this, some conventional inspection devices employ a structure that uses a spring to mitigate vibrations from the running part. High-precision inspection may be difficult due to resonance with vibration transmitted from the part.
Therefore, the inspection apparatus according to the present invention can have a damper for absorbing vibrations and impacts from the traveling part, as shown in FIGS. The damper referred to here generally means a device for absorbing (damping) vibration and shock, and uses a viscous damper using a viscous material (cylinder type damper such as an oil damper) or a viscoelastic material such as a gel. Includes viscoelastic dampers, elastic dampers using rubber and springs, elasto-plastic dampers (history dampers) using lead and low yield point steel, friction dampers, magnetic dampers, electromagnetic dampers, etc. In the embodiment described below, as an example, a dashpot which is a kind of cylinder type damper is used.
The
As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the
Although the dash pot is used as the damper in the illustrated example, the above-described other type of damper may be used instead of or in addition to the dash pot. However, when using a material that does not have shape retention in a no-load state, such as gel, as a damper, the positional relationship between the running section and the inspection section is maintained using a spring provided in parallel with the damper. You may make it do. In addition, any one of the
