Claims (12)
- 金属箔(1)の長さ(4)にわたって延び互いに隣り合って配置された波頂(5)と波底(6)から成る組織(3)を備え、0.15mm〜0.02mmの材料厚さ(2)を有し、波頂(5)あるいは波底(6)の少なくとも一部が少なくとも1個の第1くぼみ(7)を有する金属箔(1)において、少なくとも1個の第1くぼみ(7)に隣接して、少なくとも1個の第2くぼみ(8)が設けられ、該第2くぼみ(8)が、対応した波頂(5)あるいは波底(6)に対して第1くぼみ(7)と異なった深さ(9)を有しており、波頂(5)ないし波底(6)は段階構造で形成され、その際各段は第1くぼみと第2くぼみで形成され、第1くぼみ(7)および第2くぼみ(8)は相応する波頂(5)あるいは波底(6)に対して反対方向に形成され、第2くぼみ(8)は2つの第1くぼみ(7)の間に備えられていることを特徴とする金属箔(1)。
- くぼみ(7、8)が対応した波頂(5)あるいは波底(6)から一方向に延び、すべての波頂およびすべての波底が、それぞれくぼみで破断されない平面を規定していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の金属箔(1)。
- 第1くぼみ(7)あるいは第2くぼみ(8)がプラトー(台地)の形を有し、このプラトーは、対応した波頂ないし波底に対する最大深さを有するくぼみの部分区域を形成していることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の金属箔(1)。
- 少なくとも隣接する波頂(5)あるいは波底(6)の1つのまたは複数の範囲において、第1くぼみ(7)あるいは第2くぼみ(8)が通気性をもって形成されて、その際金属箔(1)にガスの貫流を可能にする開口が備えられ、残りの第1くぼみ(7)あるいは第2くぼみ(8)が非通気性であることを特徴とする請求項1ないし3のいずれか1つに記載の金属箔(1)。
- 波頂(5)と波底(6)が金属箔(1)の高さ(10)を形成し、第1くぼみ(7)の深さ(9)が高さ(10)の50%〜20%の範囲にあることを特徴とする請求項1ないし4のいずれか1つに記載の金属箔(1)。
- 波頂(5)と波底(6)が金属箔(1)の高さ(10)を形成し、第2くぼみ(8)の深さ(9)が高さ(10)の100%〜40%の範囲にあることを特徴とする請求項1ないし5のいずれか1つに記載の金属箔(1)。
- 第1くぼみ(7)が金属箔(1)の端面(11)に続いていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし6のいずれか1つに記載の金属箔(1)。
- フィルタ材料(13)と支持構造物(14)から成る複合体(12)において、支持構造物(14)が請求項1ないし7のいずれか1つに記載の金属箔(1)を有し、少なくとも第1くぼみ(7)あるいは第2くぼみ(8)がフィルタ材料(13)の受け部(15)を形成していることを特徴とする複合体(12)。
- フィルタ材料(13)が、少なくとも部分的に第1くぼみ(7)あるいは第2くぼみ(8)の深さ(9)に相当した材料厚さ(16)を有していることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の複合体(12)。
- 少なくとも部分的に組織化された金属箔を有し、該金属箔が多数の通路(18)が形成されるように配置されているハニカム体(17)において、請求項1ないし7のいずれか1つに記載の組織化された少なくとも1枚の金属箔(1)を有していることを特徴とするハニカム体。
- 通路(18)の少なくとも一部が、少なくとも第1くぼみ(7)あるいは第2くぼみ(8)に対して通気性をもって形成されていることを特徴とする請求項10に記載のハニカム体。
- 請求項1ないし7のいずれか1つに記載の少なくとも1枚の金属箔(1)、請求項8又は9に記載の少なくとも1個の複合体(12)、あるいは請求項10又は11に記載の少なくとも1個のハニカム体(17)を有することを特徴とする自動車用内燃機関(20)の排気ガス処理装置(19)。
