Description
The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a canister regenerator used in a canister that processes evaporated fuel generated in a fuel system of an internal combustion engine of a vehicle such as an automobile, and a canister regenerator.
A conventional canister regenerator is described in Patent Document 1, for example. The heat accumulator described in Patent Document 1 is one in which a heat storage material made of a phase change material is accommodated in a metal sealed container, and is disposed in a canister case (specifically, in an adsorbent layer) of the canister. Such a heat accumulator improves the adsorption performance of the evaporated fuel by the adsorbent by suppressing the temperature rise when the adsorbent adsorbs the evaporated fuel by the latent heat when the heat storage material melts. By suppressing the temperature drop when the vaporized fuel is released from the latent heat when the heat storage material is solidified, the vaporized fuel removal performance by the adsorbent is improved.
In the heat accumulator of Patent Document 1, a heat storage material is injected from a small hole-like opening formed in the side wall of the sealed container, and then the opening is sealed with a stopper. For this reason, since the plug as a separate member is required, a cost increase is forced. Therefore, it is conceivable to omit the plug member by sealing the sealed container by welding. However, if welding is performed carelessly, the heat storage material may be ignited by heat during welding.
The problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a method for manufacturing a canister regenerator and a canister regenerator capable of preventing ignition of a heat storage material when a sealed container containing a heat storage material is sealed by welding. There is.
The above-mentioned problems can be solved by a method for manufacturing a canister regenerator and a canister regenerator having the structure described in the claims.
That is, according to the method for manufacturing a canister regenerator according to claim 1, after the heat storage material is accommodated in the hermetic container, when the hermetic container is sealed by welding, the welding for sealing the hermetic container is performed by laser welding. And setting the distance between the welded part of the sealed container by laser welding and the heat storage material to reduce the temperature of the heat to the temperature below the ignition point of the heat storage material before the heat from the laser welding is transmitted to the heat storage material. I have to. Therefore, the temperature of heat by laser welding related to the sealing of the sealed container is not transferred to the heat storage material at a temperature equal to or higher than its ignition point. For this reason, ignition of the heat storage material at the time of sealing the airtight container which accommodated the heat storage material by laser welding can be prevented .
According to the method for manufacturing a canister regenerator described in claim 2, the sealed container is constituted by a container main body that opens an upper surface, and a lid that closes the opening of the upper surface of the container main body. In a state where the heat storage material is accommodated in the container, the container body and the lid are sealed by laser welding over the entire circumference. Therefore, it is possible to easily put the heat storage material into the container body in a state where the inside of the shallow container body is horizontally arranged. At the same time, the container body containing the heat storage material is kept in a horizontal state, and the container body and the lid body are sealed by laser welding over the entire circumference, thereby completing a hermetic container and a canister heat accumulator. Can be completed.
Moreover, according to the canister regenerator described in claim 3, the canister regenerator manufactured by the method for manufacturing a canister regenerator described in claim 1 or 2 can be provided.
Hereinafter, embodiments for carrying out the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
An embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. For convenience of explanation, after describing an outline of a canister mounted on a vehicle, a canister heat accumulator and a manufacturing method thereof will be described in this order. FIG. 1 is a plan sectional view showing the canister. Further, the left and right sides of the canister are determined with reference to FIG. 1, and the upper side in FIG.
As shown in FIG. 1, the
In the
The
Between the
In the
Further, during operation of the engine, negative pressure generated in the intake passage of the engine, that is, the intake manifold, acts on the
The
As shown in FIG. 1, in the
Further, in the second adsorbent chamber 20 (specifically, in the rear side (lower side in FIG. 1)), a second canister heat accumulator (hereinafter referred to as “second”) formed in a flat rectangular shape. 2 ”(referred to as“ 2 heat accumulators ”) is arranged in a horizontal state. The upper and lower sides (both front and back sides in FIG. 1) of the
As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the
As shown in FIG. 3, the sealed
The
As shown in FIG. 1, the
The
According to the
Further, when the temperature of the adsorbent 30 leaves the evaporated fuel, and the melting point of the

However, in the step 4 (see FIG. 4D), when the
Specifically, the ignition point of the
According to the manufacturing method of the above-described
In addition, the sealed
The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and modifications can be made without departing from the gist of the present invention. For example, the container
