Description
a.標準的なアルギネート印象は、湿ったペーパータオルで慎重に保管しなければ、数日というスパンで乾燥かつ収縮しうる。アルギネート印象を商業歯科矯正サービスセンターに送り、積み荷内で数日おかれると、いくらか寸法の変化が生じうる。非アルギン酸系印象材料であるポリシロキサンはこれら問題を打ち消すが、高価である。
b.現在、歯科矯正オフィスはほとんどレーザー走査及び画像処理設備を財政的に容認していないが、走査用レーザー製造業者がオフィス内使用のために特別に最適化した装置の開発を考えていることが知られている。このような装置を買う余裕はあり、その場合には、将来このような装置が平凡になるかもしれない。安価なアルギネート印象をオフィス内で取り、収縮が起こる前に即刻走査することができる。
c.将来オフィス内走査が平凡になった場合、恵まれる利点の1つは走査したデータをインターネットを介して容易に商業歯科矯正サービスセンターに伝達できることである。
本システムを使用する技術者は、アライナー補助具と共に使用するように最適化されたアライナーを作製するという目的のために同一セットのデジタルツールを同様に使用する。該アライナーは、Invisalignの意味で漸進的といえるが、本発明のアライナーは、完全事例を治療する際に必ず役立つわけではない。

Claims (23)
- アライナー補助具を収容する歯科矯正アライナーの製造方法であって、以下の工程:
患者の歯の解剖学的形態の少なくとも一部分のCAD模型を生成する工程;
CAD技術者が、前記CAD模型を操作して、医師の指示に基づいて、CAD模型から得られるデジタル・データに基づき、患者の歯の解剖学的形態の所望部分上で治療力を働かせるため、アライナーへのアライナー補助具の取り付けに適した少なくとも1つの構造を有し、患者の歯を受けるための複数の空洞を備えたポリマーシェルを有するアライナーを前記CAD技術者が設計する工程;
アライナー補助具を収容するための前記構造を組み込んだ前記CAD模型から歯科矯正アライナーを形成する工程;及び
前記歯科矯正アライナーの前記構造にアライナー補助具を取り付ける工程;
を含む方法。 - 前記CAD模型を生成する工程が、さらに以下の工程:
患者の歯の解剖学的形態の少なくとも一部分の物理的模型を生成する工程;及び
前記物理的模型を走査してCAD模型を生成する工程;
を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記CAD模型を生成する工程が、患者の歯の解剖学的形態の少なくとも一部分を走査する工程をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記CAD模型を操作する工程が、前記CAD模型を操作して、患者の歯科矯正治療中に順次使用するための複数のアライナーを設計する工程をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記CAD模型を操作する工程が、前記アライナー上のアライナー補助具の配置を示すためのディヴォットマーカーを形成する工程をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記歯科矯正アライナーを形成する工程が、前記アライナーの前記ディヴォットマーカーの位置に、アライナー補助具を受けるための開口を形成する工程をさらに含む、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記CAD模型を操作する工程が、前記アライナーにアライナー補助具を取り付けるためのアウトセットランドを形成する工程をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記歯科矯正アライナーを形成する工程が、さらに以下の工程:
前記CAD模型を操作する工程によって修正したとおりに前記患者の歯の解剖学的形態の少なくとも一部分を表現する前記CAD模型から物理的パターンを形成する工程;及び
前記物理的パターンを通じて歯科矯正アライナーを形成する工程;
を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記CAD模型を操作する工程が、歯科矯正治療中に所望の位置を達成するように、前記CAD模型の前記患者の歯の解剖学的形態の選択した部分を修正する工程と、アライナー補助具を収容するための構造を組み込む工程とを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 患者の歯を受けるための複数の空洞を備えたポリマーシェルを有し、アライナー補助具を収容する歯科矯正アライナーの製造方法であって、以下の工程:
患者の歯の解剖学的形態の少なくとも一部分のCAD模型を生成する工程;
CAD技術者が、前記CAD模型を操作して、医師の指示に基づいて、CAD模型から得られるデジタル・データに基づき、患者の歯科矯正治療中に順次使うための複数のアライナーを生成するための患者の歯の解剖学的形態の複数の修正表現を生成する工程;
CAD技術者が、前記CAD模型を操作して、医師の指示に基づいて、CAD模型から得られるデジタル・データに基づき、患者の歯の解剖学的形態の所望部分上で治療力を働かせるため、前記アライナーの少なくとも1つに、アライナー補助具の取り付けに適した少なくとも1つの構造を組み込む工程;
アライナー補助具を収容するための前記構造を組み込んだ前記CAD模型から一連の歯科矯正アライナーを形成する工程;及び
前記歯科矯正アライナーの前記構造にアライナー補助具を取り付ける工程;
を含む方法。 - 前記CAD模型を生成する工程が、さらに以下の工程:
患者の歯の解剖学的形態の少なくとも一部分の物理的模型を生成する工程;及び
前記物理的模型を走査してCAD模型を生成する工程;
を含む、請求項10に記載の方法。 - 前記CAD模型を生成する工程が、患者の歯の解剖学的形態の少なくとも一部分を走査する工程をさらに含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記CAD模型を操作する工程が、前記アライナー上のアライナー補助具の配置を示すためのディヴォットマーカーを形成する工程をさらに含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記歯科矯正アライナーを形成する工程が、前記アライナーの前記ディヴォットマーカーの位置に、アライナー補助具を受けるための開口を形成する工程をさらに含む、請求項13に記載の方法。

前記各アライナーの前記修正CAD模型から物理的パターンを形成する工程;及び
前記物理的パターンを通じて前記アライナーを形成する工程;
を含む、請求項10に記載の方法。 - 患者の歯を受けるための複数の空洞を備えたポリマーシェルを有し、アライナー補助具を収容する歯科矯正アライナーの製造方法であって、以下の工程:
患者の歯の解剖学的形態の少なくとも一部分のCAD模型を生成する工程;
CAD技術者が、前記CAD模型を操作して、医師の指示に基づいて、CAD模型から得られるデジタル・データに基づき、患者の歯の解剖学的形態の所望部分上で治療力を働かせるため、前記アライナーにアライナー補助具の取り付けに適した少なくとも1つの構造を有する歯科矯正アライナーを設計するための患者の歯の解剖学的形態の修正表現を生成する工程;
前記修正CAD模型から患者の歯の解剖学的形態の修正表現の物理的パターンを形成する工程:
アライナー補助具を収容するための前記構造を組み込んだ前記物理的パターンを通じてアライナーを形成する工程;及び
前記歯科矯正アライナーの前記構造にアライナー補助具を取り付ける工程;
を含む方法。 - 前記CAD模型を生成する工程が、さらに以下の工程:
患者の歯の解剖学的形態の少なくとも一部分の物理的模型を生成する工程;及び
前記物理的模型を走査してCAD模型を生成する工程;
