Description
The present invention relates to a water treatment method and a water treatment apparatus for raw water containing fluorine and ammonia nitrogen.
In general, ammonia nitrogen in raw water is composed of a nitrification step in which ammonia nitrogen is oxidized to nitrite nitrogen by ammonia-oxidizing bacteria, and this nitrite nitrogen is oxidized to nitrate nitrogen by nitrite-oxidizing bacteria. Nitrogenous nitrogen and nitrate nitrogen are subjected to a two-stage biological reaction with denitrification bacteria, which are heterotrophic bacteria, and decomposed to nitrogen gas using organic substances such as methanol as an electron donor. It is broken down into gas.
On the other hand, in recent years, from the viewpoint of improving the efficiency of the wastewater treatment process, a treatment method using nitrite-type nitrification that performs control so that oxidation of ammonia nitrogen stops up to nitrite nitrogen in the nitrification step, A treatment method using an autotrophic denitrifying microorganism (hereinafter sometimes referred to as “ANAMMOX microorganism”) has been proposed.
For example, if nitrite-type nitrification is used, the amount of methanol added in the subsequent denitrification step can be reduced, and an efficient wastewater treatment system can be constructed at a low cost.
Moreover, in the treatment method using the ANAMMOX microorganism, a part of ammonia nitrogen is nitrite-type nitrified, and ammonia nitrogen is used as an electron donor by the following ANAMMOX reaction. Denitrification using nitrogen as an electron acceptor eliminates the need for the addition of organic substances such as methanol, and because it is an autotrophic bacterium, the conversion rate of cells is low and the amount of excess sludge generated is low. It is possible to construct a simple processing system.
NH4 + + 1.32NO2 − → N2 + 0.26NO3 − + 2H2O NH 4 + + 1.32 NO 2 − → N 2 + 0.26 NO 3 − + 2H 2 O
And in these treatments, it is necessary to control so that nitrite type nitrification occurs in the nitrification process, so nitrite type nitrification is performed by controlling pH by adding carbonate or bicarbonate, controlling air volume, etc. The method of performing is proposed (for example, refer patent document 1).
On the other hand, in the treatment of raw water containing nitrogen and fluorine discharged from an electronics factory, etc., when the fluorine concentration is low (for example, 10 mgF / L or less), chelation is performed after nitrogen removal by biological nitrogen removal method. Fluorine removal may be performed by an adsorption method using a resin or the like, but removal of nitrogen and fluorine from raw water containing tens to hundreds of mg N / L of nitrogen and tens to hundreds of mg F / L of fluorine In general, a biological nitrogen removal method and a fluorine removal method using a calcium compound are combined.
Since fluorine inhibits the biological treatment reaction, it was necessary to remove fluorine with a calcium compound before biological nitrogen removal, and then perform nitrogen biological treatment. However, here, when removing fluorine with a calcium compound, it is necessary to add an excessive amount of calcium relative to the fluorine contained in the raw water. Therefore, the presence of excess calcium added at the time of fluorine removal. Thus, when pH control is performed on the raw water by adding carbonate or bicarbonate to the nitrite type nitrification step, there is a problem that calcium carbonate is precipitated.
For this reason, a softening device for removing calcium is provided between the fluorine removal step and the nitrite type nitrification step, and a method of removing calcium before the nitrite type nitrification step and ammonia oxidizing bacteria to some extent against fluorine Due to its resistance, after performing nitrite type nitrification, a method of performing fluorine treatment and denitrification treatment with a calcium compound (see, for example, Patent Document 2), by adding carbonate or bicarbonate in the nitrite type nitrification step A method of controlling pH has been used.
However, in the method of removing calcium by the softening treatment between the fluorine removal step and the nitrite type nitrification step, it is necessary to install a softening device. In addition, since removal of calcium is usually performed by precipitating calcium carbonate by adding carbonate or bicarbonate, chemical addition is necessary for softening, and sludge generated by softening is also removed. There is a problem that the cost is increased because it is necessary to perform the treatment, and facilities and costs for sludge treatment are required.
In addition, in the method of
In the treatment of raw water containing fluorine and ammonia nitrogen, the present invention relates to a softening device for softening treatment of calcium and the like added during fluorine treatment, and an oxidation treatment of excess hydrogen donor added during denitrification treatment. The present invention also provides a nitritation means for nitrating a part of ammonia nitrogen contained in water to be treated containing fluorine and ammonia nitrogen, the ammonia nitrogen as an electron donor, and the nitrous acid possess a denitrification unit for performing denitrification by autotrophic denitrifying organisms of been nitrite nitrogen as an electron acceptor, and fluorine processing means for processing the fluorine said after denitrification, the said de the fluorine concentration in the for-treatment water which flows into the denitrification device is a water treatment device area by der of 100 to 400 mg / L.

It is preferable to have an adjusting means for adding and processing .
In the present invention, in the treatment of raw water containing fluorine and ammonia nitrogen, it is not necessary to provide a softening device and an oxidizer by performing a denitrification treatment with an autotrophic denitrification microorganism in a stage prior to the fluorine treatment, or It is possible to provide a water treatment method and a water treatment device that can reduce the size of the softening device and reduce the amount of sludge generated from the softening device and the oxidation device.
Embodiments of the present invention will be described below. This embodiment is an example for carrying out the present invention, and the present invention is not limited to this embodiment.
An example of a water treatment apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention is schematically shown in FIG. The
Next, the operation of the water treatment method and the
As described above, by performing the denitrification treatment with the autotrophic denitrification microorganism on the upstream side of the fluorine treatment step, it is not necessary to provide a softening device and an oxidation device, and the amount of sludge generated can be reduced.
The fluorine contained in the raw water to be treated in the present embodiment is caused by hydrofluoric acid, a fluorine compound, or the like.
In addition, the ammoniacal nitrogen contained in the raw water to be treated in the present embodiment is ammonia, ammonium compounds, amine compounds such as TMAH (tetramethylammonium hydroxide), MEA (monoethanolamine), and other amino acids. This is due to the organic nitrogen compound, and part of it is oxidized to nitrite nitrogen in the nitritation step.
There are no particular restrictions on the raw water containing fluorine and ammonia nitrogen, which are to be treated in this embodiment, but examples include electronic industrial wastewater such as liquid crystal factory wastewater, semiconductor factory wastewater, metal surface chemical wastewater, and thermal power plant wastewater. It is done.
As a nitrifying bacterium used in the nitritation step, an autotrophic bacterium such as an ammonia oxidizing bacterium can be used.
As the
In order to nitrify a part of the ammonia nitrogen, a part of the raw water is supplied to the
In the
Next, in the
Since the method of denitrifying with the autotrophic denitrifying microorganism does not require the addition of organic matter, the cost can be reduced as compared with the method using heterotrophic denitrifying bacteria. Moreover, since the yield of autotrophic microorganisms is low and the amount of sludge generated is significantly less than that of heterotrophic microorganisms, the amount of surplus sludge generated can be suppressed. Furthermore, there is a feature that the generation of N 2 O observed by the conventional nitrification denitrification method is hardly generated, and the burden on the environment can be reduced.
In the
The fluorine treatment process is not particularly limited. For example, a calcium compound is added to denitrification water from the denitrification process, and calcium fluoride (CaF 2 ) is generated and separated by the reaction shown in the following reaction formula. To remove fluorine.
Ca2+ + 2F− → CaF2↓ Ca 2+ + 2F − → CaF 2 ↓
In the
Further, the
The calcium compound to be added to the denitrified water is not particularly limited as long as it can break out fluorine ions as calcium fluoride, but calcium hydroxide (Ca (OH) 2 ), calcium chloride (CaCl 2 ), Examples thereof include calcium sulfate (CaSO 4 ). As the flocculant, inorganic flocculants such as polyaluminum chloride and aluminum sulfate, organic polymer flocculants such as an anionic polymer, and the like can be used. The flocculant aggregates and coarsens the calcium fluoride that has broken out, and facilitates solid-liquid separation in the precipitation tank. The solid-liquid separation may be performed by any other means such as a membrane separation device or a crystallization device without depending on the precipitation tank.
In this embodiment, it is important that the raw water containing fluorine and ammonia nitrogen is treated under a condition that the inhibition of autotrophic denitrifying microorganisms by fluorine in the raw water is small.
Here, denitrification treatment using autotrophic denitrification microorganisms can be operated with a load more than twice that of conventional denitrification treatment methods using heterotrophic denitrification microorganisms. The area can also be reduced by 50% or more. Therefore, if treatment is performed under conditions where the treatment rate of autotrophic denitrifying microorganisms does not decrease to 50% or less, it is possible to operate while suppressing sludge generation in the same installation area and cost as those of the conventional method. It becomes.
Therefore, the effect of raw water fluorine concentration on autotrophic denitrifying microorganisms was tested, and the processing rate of autotrophic denitrifying microorganisms was reduced to 50% or less compared to the case where raw water containing no fluorine was treated. When the fluorine concentration (mgF / L) range that does not decrease was examined (refer to the examples described later for details), in the range of 100 mgF / L or less, the treatment speed is almost the same as the condition containing no fluorine, and 200 to 400 mgF In the range of / L, the treatment rate is reduced by about 50 to 60% due to the inhibition of fluorine, and the treatment rate is reduced to about 30% or less in the condition exceeding 500 mg F / L compared with the condition not containing fluorine. Sometimes.
Therefore, for fluorine-containing raw water with a fluorine concentration of 400 mgF / L or less in raw water, fluorination with a calcium compound after nitritation and denitrification by an autotrophic denitrifying microorganism, without causing scaling, It is preferable because softening of excess calcium added during the fluorine treatment is unnecessary, and the treatment with reduced sludge generation and chemical addition is possible.
That is, although there is no restriction | limiting in particular about the fluorine concentration in raw | natural water, It is preferable that it is the range of 10-400 mgF / L, It is more preferable that it is the range of 10-100 mgF / L, It is the range of 10-50 mgF / L. More preferably. By setting it as this range, the activity reduction of an autotrophic denitrification microorganism can be suppressed and raw water can be processed.
In addition, from the above points, for wastewater having a fluorine concentration exceeding 400 mg F / L, for example, a method of diluting raw water or a pretreatment of raw water to remove a part of fluorine before the nitritation step. By the method or the like, the fluorine concentration in the water to be treated is adjusted to 400 mg / L or less, preferably 10 to 400 mg / L, more preferably 10 to 100 mg / L, and further preferably 10 to 50 mg / L (adjustment step). Is preferred. By adjusting in this way, generation | occurrence | production of calcium sludge can be suppressed, the chemical | medical agent addition amount can be reduced, and processing cost can be reduced, suppressing the activity fall of an autotrophic denitrification microorganism.
In the case of the method of diluting raw water, the water treatment method according to the present embodiment includes a dilution step of diluting raw water containing fluorine and ammonia nitrogen, and ammoniacal contained in the diluted diluted treated water (treated water). A nitritation step for nitrifying a part of nitrogen, and denitrification by an autotrophic denitrifying microorganism using the ammoniacal nitrogen as an electron donating state and the nitritized nitrite nitrogen as an electron acceptor And a fluorine treatment step of treating the fluorine after the denitrification reaction, wherein the fluorine concentration in the diluted treated water is in the range of 10 to 400 mg / L.
The dilution water is not limited to pure water or industrial water, but may be treated water of a nitrogen treatment facility or ammonia nitrogen-containing raw water containing no fluorine. From the viewpoint of preventing scaling, the Ca concentration in the diluted water is preferably such that the Ca concentration in the diluted raw water is 50 mg / L or less, and the Ca concentration in the diluted raw water is 35 mg / L. More preferred is such a concentration.
Further, in the case of a method of pretreating raw water to remove a part of fluorine, for example, a fluorine pretreatment step of pretreating raw water containing fluorine and ammonia nitrogen to remove a part of fluorine; A nitritation step of nitrating a part of ammonia nitrogen contained in the treated fluorine pretreated water (treated water); A denitrification step in which nitrogen is used as an electron acceptor by an autotrophic denitrification microorganism, and a fluorine treatment step in which the fluorine is treated after the denitrification reaction, wherein the fluorine concentration in the fluorine pretreated water is It can be set as the water treatment method which is the range of 10-400 mg / L.
As a method of pretreating raw water to remove a part of fluorine, for example, a calcium compound having the same or less amount as the equivalent of fluorine contained in fluorine and ammoniacal nitrogen-containing raw water is added and pretreated, A method of setting the fluorine concentration to 400 mgF / L or less is mentioned.
FIG. 2 shows an outline of an example of a water treatment apparatus according to this method. The
First, raw water containing fluorine and ammonia nitrogen is fed to the
In the method shown in FIG. 2, since a part of the fluorine contained in the raw water is pretreated, the amount of carbonate such as sodium carbonate required for softening and the amount of sludge (calcium fluoride and calcium carbonate containing sludge) generated. Is less.
Usually, when adding a calcium compound and removing fluorine as calcium fluoride, the fluorine concentration of the treated water is increased by adding an excessive amount of calcium compound so that calcium remains in the treated water at 300 to 400 mg / L. It can be reduced to 10-15 mg / L. Since the solubility of calcium fluoride is constant at solubility = [Ca] [F] 2 , when a calcium compound is added in an excessive amount so that 10 to 20 mg / L of calcium remains in the treated water, the fluorine concentration of the treated water is increased. It can be reduced to about 50 to 100 mg / L. Even when the calcium compound is added in an amount equivalent to the fluorine content, the fluorine concentration of the treated water can be reduced to about 100 to 200 mg / L.
In addition, as a method for removing a part of fluorine by pretreating the raw water, for example, a part of fluorine contained in the raw water containing fluorine and ammonia nitrogen is separated to make the

In this method, a part of the fluorine is separated from the raw water by the
The
When the method of FIG. 3 and FIG. 4 is adopted, since the fluorine concentration of the water to be treated is relatively low, not only the treatment with autotrophic denitrifying microorganisms (ANAMOX treatment) but also the treatment with normal heterotrophic bacteria However, the processing is possible, but the ANAMOX processing is preferable because the processing speed is higher. Moreover, since the calcium concentration of to-be-processed water is reduced, it is effective especially in the case of the process by an anaerobic ANAMOX microorganism. This is because anaerobic ANAMMOX treatment uses carbon dioxide (CO 2 ) or sodium carbonate (Na 2 CO 3 ) as the carbon source of the ANAMMOX microorganisms, so if the calcium concentration of the treated water is high, calcium carbonate (CaCO This is because the scale 3 ) is likely to occur. Instead of the
In addition, for example, by pre-treating a part of the raw water containing fluorine and ammonia nitrogen by a fluorine separation means or the like and diluting the raw water using the pre-treated water as dilution water, the fluorine concentration of the water to be treated is 400 mgF / L or less. It may be.

The fluorine concentration can be controlled by automatically controlling the amount of raw water introduced into the
In addition, when mixed with nitrite-treated water that has not been subjected to fluorine pretreatment, the concentration of calcium added excessively in the fluorine pretreatment step is reduced, and scaling by calcium carbonate does not occur even when carbonate is added. May be mixed with nitrite-treated water that has not been subjected to fluorine pretreatment without removing calcium in the fluorine-pretreated water that has undergone fluorine pretreatment, and the subsequent treatment may be performed.
As described above, according to the method and apparatus for treating fluorine and ammonia nitrogen-containing raw water according to the present embodiment, the denitrification treatment by the autotrophic denitrification microorganism is performed before the fluorine treatment by the calcium compound. It becomes possible to suppress the addition of chemicals necessary for removing excessive calcium and the generated sludge. Further, it is not necessary to provide a softening device and an oxidation device, or the softening device can be downsized, and sludge such as calcium and sludge due to excess hydrogen donors are not generated or sludge such as calcium is generated. The amount can be reduced. Thereby, the treatment of fluorine and ammonia nitrogen-containing raw water using autotrophic denitrifying microorganisms can be realized at low cost and space saving.
Hereinafter, although an example and a comparative example are given and the present invention is explained more concretely in detail, the present invention is not limited to the following examples.

It has become possible to reduce the amount of sludge such as calcium without causing sludge.
(Example 4 )
Next, the effect of fluorine concentration on autotrophic denitrifying microorganisms was tested, and the processing rate of autotrophic denitrifying microorganisms was reduced to 50% or less compared to the case of treating raw water containing no fluorine. Fluorine concentration range not examined.
The test was performed in a nitrogen-filled vial using a predetermined amount of ANAMOX microorganism that had been accumulated and cultured in advance.
FIG. 12 shows the change in the treatment speed with respect to the fluorine concentration when using synthetic waste water having a changed fluorine concentration.
The calculation of the processing speed, the drainage of the vial bottle was sampled every predetermined time, the ammonium nitrogen (NH 4 -N) concentration in the liquid indophenol blue absorptiometry, nitrite nitrogen (NO 2 -N) From the result of measuring the concentration by ion chromatography, the amount of nitrogen decrease per unit time was calculated and used as the treatment speed.
According to the graph of FIG. 12, the treatment speed is reduced due to inhibition in the range of 200 to 400 mg F / L. And in the conditions over 500 mgF / L, the processing speed is reduced to 30% or less as compared with the conditions not containing fluorine. On the other hand, in the range of 100 mgF / L or less, the treatment speed is almost the same as the condition containing no fluorine.
Therefore, fluorine-containing wastewater with a fluorine concentration of 10 to 400 mgF / L, preferably 10 to 100 mgF / L, is treated with ammonia nitrogen and nitrite nitrogen by nitritation and autotrophic denitrifying microorganisms. Fluorine treatment with a calcium compound afterwards, without causing scaling, it is not necessary to soften excess calcium added during the fluorination treatment, and it is possible to perform treatment with reduced sludge generation and chemical addition. all right.
