Description
Claims (12)
- ガスタービンエンジンの第1の使用部に燃料を供給する第1のポンプと、
ガスタービンエンジンの第2の使用部に燃料を供給する第2のポンプと、
第1のポンプからの流れを第1の使用部に供給する弁であって、第2のポンプの下流の圧力が上昇するまで第2のポンプからの燃料流を補うように第1のポンプからの流れの一部を送り、次いで、第1のポンプからの流れを補うように第2のポンプからの流れを第1の使用部へと流す、弁と、
を備えることを特徴とする、ガスタービンエンジン用の燃料供給システム。 - 弁は、弁ハウジングを備えており、弁ハウジングは、第1のポンプを第1の使用部および第2の使用部と連通させるポートを備えており、また、弁ハウジングは、第2のポンプを第1の使用部と連通させるポートを備えていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の燃料供給システム。
- 弁は、第2のポンプの下流の圧力に抗して弁スプールを付勢する付勢力を有しており、弁スプールは、第2の使用部への第2のポンプからの流れを第1のポンプからの流れで補うように位置し、また、第1のポンプからの流れを第1の使用部に供給するように位置し、また、弁スプールに対する付勢力に打ち勝つのに十分に第2のポンプの下流の圧力が上昇するまで、第2のポンプからの流れが第1の使用部へ流れるのを阻止するように位置することを特徴とする請求項2記載の燃料供給システム。
- 付勢力は、機械的ばね力であることを特徴とする請求項3記載の燃料供給システム。
- 第1および第2のポンプは、ギアポンプであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の燃料供給システム。
- ガスタービンエンジンに付随する補機用の少なくとも1つのアクチュエータと、
燃焼室と、
燃焼室に燃料を供給する第1のポンプと、
少なくとも1つのアクチュエータに燃料を供給する第2のポンプと、
第1のポンプからの流れを燃焼室に供給する弁であって、また、第2のポンプの下流の圧力が上昇するまで少なくとも1つのアクチュエータへの第2のポンプからの燃料流を補うように第1のポンプからの流れの一部を送り、次いで、第1のポンプからの流れを補うように第2のポンプからの流れを燃焼室へと流す弁と、
を備えることを特徴とするガスタービンエンジン。 - 弁は、弁ハウジングを備えており、弁ハウジングは、第1のポンプを燃焼室および少なくとも1つのアクチュエータと連通させるポートを備えており、また、弁ハウジングは、第2のポンプを燃焼室と連通させるポートを備えていることを特徴とする請求項6記載のガスタービンエンジン。
- 弁は、第2のポンプの下流の圧力に抗して弁スプールを付勢する付勢力を有しており、弁スプールは、少なくとも1つのアクチュエータへの第2のポンプからの流れを第1のポンプからの流れで補うように位置し、また、第1のポンプからの流れを燃焼室に供給するように位置し、また、弁スプールに対する付勢力に打ち勝つのに十分に第2のポンプの下流の圧力が上昇するまで、第2のポンプからの流れが燃焼室へ流れるのを阻止するように位置することを特徴とする請求項7記載のガスタービンエンジン。
- 付勢力は、機械的ばね力であることを特徴とする請求項8記載のガスタービンエンジン。
- 第1および第2のポンプは、ギアポンプであることを特徴とする請求項6記載のガスタービンエンジン。
- ガスタービンエンジン内の燃料ポンプ送りシステムに組み込むための弁であって、第1のポンプに接続される第1のポートと、第2のポンプに接続される第2のポートとを備える弁ハウジングを有しており、弁ハウジングは、弁スプールの中間溝を介して第1のポンプを、第2のポンプの下流の位置に接続されることになる第1のハウジング溝と選択的に連通させ、弁ハウジングはさらに、第1のポンプを下流の使用部と連通させる第3のハウジング溝と組み合わされることになる接続部に第2のポートを接続する第2のハウジング溝を備えており、弁スプールは、第2のポートから第2のハウジング溝への流れを阻止する第1の位置に付勢力によって付勢されており、第2のポートの圧力は、第2のポートが第2のハウジング溝と連通するようになる第2の位置に弁スプールを駆動するように付勢力に打ち勝ち、そして、弁スプールが第2の位置になると、弁スプールは、第1のポートから第1のハウジング溝への流れを阻止することを特徴とする弁。
- 付勢力は、機械ばねによって与えられることを特徴とする請求項11記載の弁。
