Description
The present invention relates to a support leg device with casters, and in particular, a caster that functions as a support leg for a heavy object and that allows the heavy object to move in an arbitrary direction, and prevents a heavy object from moving by depressing a pedal. It is related with the support leg apparatus with a caster provided with the stopper member to perform.
For heavy objects such as tables and machine tools, casters are attached to support legs so that they can be easily moved. Some have a stopper so that a heavy object can be fixed at an arbitrary place. As an example of this type of support leg device, the one shown in Patent Document 1 has been proposed. More specifically, the supporting
By the way, when the above configuration is adopted, the
However, according to the
More specifically, since the male threaded
Although it is conceivable that the
Therefore, in view of the above situation, the present invention provides a support leg device with casters that can suppress an increase in the size of the entire device and an increase in the turning radius of the caster while allowing a part of the support legs to function as an adjuster. Here, examples of the “heavy object” include furniture such as a table, a chair, a locker, or a TV stand, a conveyor, a machine tool, a carriage, and the like. Further, the “pedestal” is a base member for mounting the supporting leg device with casters, and may be formed integrally with the heavy object, or may be formed as a separate member and attached to the bottom surface of the heavy object. . Further, the shape of the “pedestal” is not particularly limited, and examples thereof include a plate shape, a block shape, and a cylindrical shape extending in the horizontal direction.
The “bottomed substantially cylindrical shape” includes a shape that is substantially cylindrical and has a wall on the bottom surface, and includes an opening at the center of the bottom surface. The “caster wheel” may be a single wheel or a pair of wheels. Further, the “projection piece” may be formed integrally with the pedal, or may be configured and assembled with a separate member. In addition, the configuration of the “locked portion and the locking portion” in the “lock device” is not particularly limited, and the lock pin that is displaced according to the raising and lowering of the pedal, and the displacement direction of the lock pin are guided. It can also comprise a guide groove that locks the lock pin in the lowered position.
Further, the “wheel contact portion” is an outer peripheral surface of the wheel that is in contact with a heavy object installation surface. That is, it is a portion corresponding to the lower end of the wheel. The material of the “stopper member” and the “support bar” is not particularly limited, but the stopper member is preferably formed of rubber or resin so that the frictional resistance against the installation surface is increased. It is preferable that the bar is made of metal in consideration of a load due to a heavy object. In this case, a metal support bar may be formed integrally with the stopper member by insert molding.
According to the support leg device with casters of the present invention, there are three actions for a heavy object, that is, (1) an action for facilitating the movement of the heavy article, (2) an action for supporting the heavy article at an arbitrary place, 3) It is possible to cause an effect of changing the height of the heavy object (the length of the support leg). Details will be described below.
(1) Configuration for facilitating movement of heavy object and its operation A housing is mounted on a heavy object leg base, and a supporting leg main body is suspended downward from the housing. And since the caster which has a wheel is attached to the support leg main body, it becomes possible to move a heavy article easily by rolling a wheel on an installation surface. At this time, the pedal is in the raised position, and the connecting member is moved upward by the biasing force of the spring. The support bar and the stopper member connected to the connecting member are also located above, and the bottom surface of the stopper member is higher than the ground contact portion of the wheel. Therefore, it is possible to move a heavy object by the caster without grounding the stopper member.
The caster includes a cylindrical body that is rotatably fitted to the support leg main body, and an extended portion that extends from the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical body and supports the wheel. For this reason, it becomes possible to turn the extending portion and the wheel with the central axis of the support leg body as an axis, easily change the rolling direction of the wheel, and move a heavy object in an arbitrary direction. It becomes possible.
Particularly in the present invention, the radial length of the support leg main body can be made relatively small. According to this, the turning radius of the caster is reduced, and the moving direction of the heavy load is changed with a small turning radius. It becomes possible. More specifically, the support bar of the present invention is inserted into the accommodation space of the support leg main body, the upper end side thereof is supported by the connecting member, and the lower end side (stopper member side) is drilled in the bottom surface of the support leg main body. It is supported by the opening. For this reason, it is possible to hold the support bar in an upright state without using the “long piston” required in the conventional apparatus, and the spring arranged around the piston is supported by the support bar. The bottom surface of the connecting member can be urged by being disposed in the space around the material. Therefore, if this configuration is adopted, the connecting member and the spring are arranged in series, the diameter of the support leg main body can be made relatively small, and consequently the turning radius of the caster can be made small.
(2) Configuration for supporting a heavy object at an arbitrary place and its operation Since the pedal is rotatably supported with respect to the housing, when the pedal is depressed, the pedal changes from the raised position to the lowered position. At this time, the pedal-side locked portion constituting the locking device is locked by the housing-side locking portion, so that the pedal is held in the lowered position. In this state, since the protruding piece formed on the bottom surface of the pedal presses the upper surface of the connecting member, the connecting member moves downward against the biasing force of the spring. Then, the support bar coupled to the coupling member and the stopper member connected to the lower end thereof are also lowered, and the bottom surface of the stopper member is lower than the ground contact portion of the wheel. According to this, since the bottom surface of the stopper member is in contact with the installation surface, and the wheels of the caster are in a state of floating from the installation surface, it is possible to prevent the wheels from rolling and to support a heavy object in a stable state. Become. When the pedal is stepped on again from this state, the locked state of the locked portion is released, the connecting member and the pedal are raised by the urging force of the spring, and the bottom surface of the stopper member is higher than the ground contact portion of the wheel. Get higher. That is, the wheel comes into contact with the installation surface and the heavy object can be easily moved.
(3) Configuration for changing height of heavy object (length of supporting leg) and its action A female screw part is formed in the hole of the connecting member. On the other hand, a male thread part is formed in the tip side peripheral surface in the support bar material, and it is screwed together with a female thread part. For this reason, when the stopper member is rotated around the axis of the support bar in the state where the pedal is positioned at the lowered position (that is, the bottom surface of the stopper member is lower than the wheel), the support bar is supported with respect to the connecting member. The material rotates, and the protruding length of the support bar from the bottom surface of the support leg main body changes depending on the relationship between the male screw portion and the female screw portion. That is, the length of the entire support leg can be adjusted by rotating the stopper member.
Further, according to the support leg device with casters of the present invention, when the pedal is in the lowered position (that is, when the bottom surface of the stopper member is lower than the wheel and is in contact with the installation surface), the protrusion formed on the pedal is formed. The piece presses a portion corresponding to a substantially center position of the connecting member vertically downward. Thereby, a straight pressure is applied to the connecting member vertically downward, and the connecting member is supported without being inclined. For this reason, the female thread portion of the connecting member is arranged straight along the axial direction of the support bar, and the male thread portion of the support bar can be smoothly screwed into the female thread portion. Become. Therefore, if the gravity object is slightly lifted and the stopper member is lifted, the stopper member can be rotated with a relatively light operating force. When the stopper member is in contact with the installation surface, the stopper member will not rotate naturally even if the gravitational object vibrates. Therefore, the height of the heavy object should be maintained at the adjusted height. Can do.
On the other hand, when the pedal is in the raised position (that is, when the wheel is grounded and the stopper member is lifted), the protruding piece formed on the pedal presses a portion away from the center position obliquely downward. As a result, pressure is applied to the connecting member obliquely downward, but the connecting member is slightly inclined because the lower-side component of the connecting member is inserted in the accommodation space in a loosely fitted state. Supported by On the other hand, since the horizontal movement on the lower side of the support bar is restricted by the bottom surface of the support leg main body, the support bar receives a force so as to tilt in the opposite direction with respect to the connecting member. For this reason, the female screw portion of the connecting member is inclined with respect to the axial direction of the support bar, and the sliding resistance between the female screw portion and the male screw portion is increased. That is, a relatively large force is required to rotate the stopper member and the support bar relative to the connecting member. Therefore, for example, even if vibration is applied to the support bar during movement of the heavy object, the support bar can be prevented from rotating naturally, and can be installed without changing the height of the heavy object after movement. become.
Further, in the support leg device with casters of the present invention, “the connecting member includes a lower side component inserted into the accommodating space of the support leg main body, and a lower side component disposed above the support leg main body. It is possible to have a configuration in which the cross-sectional area of the upper side component portion is larger than that of the upper side configuration portion and has a substantially T-shape when viewed from the front.
By the way, when the pedal is stepped on from the raised position to the lowered position side, the protruding piece formed on the pedal presses the upper surface of the connecting member, but the pedal rotates around the one end side while the connecting member Is linearly moved downward in the vertical direction, the lower end of the protruding piece slides in the horizontal direction with respect to the upper surface of the connecting member. For this reason, if the cross-sectional area of the connecting member is reduced in order to reduce the inner diameter of the support leg main body, the lower end of the protruding piece may deviate from the upper surface of the connecting member, or it may be difficult to slide smoothly. is there.
On the other hand, in the present invention, the upper-side component part that is a part of the connecting member has a larger cross-sectional area than the lower-side component part (that is, the front view is substantially T-shaped) The area of the portion that receives the lower end of the protruding piece can be made sufficiently wide, and the rotation of the pedal can be smoothly converted into the linear motion of the connecting member. In addition, since only the lower-side component is inserted into the accommodation space of the support leg main body and the upper-side component is disposed above the support leg main body (that is, outside the accommodation space), the inner diameter of the support leg main body is increased. Without this, it becomes possible to guide the connecting member along the inner peripheral surface of the accommodation space.
The size of the support leg body in the radial direction can be made relatively small, and the overall size of the apparatus can be suppressed, and the moving direction of the heavy load can be changed with a small turning radius. Therefore, workability when moving a heavy object can be improved.
A support leg device with casters (hereinafter simply referred to as “support leg device”) according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIGS. 1 to 6. FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing a configuration of a support leg device mounted on a leg base, FIG. 2 is a perspective view showing a state in which the support leg device is removed from the leg base, and FIG. 3 shows a configuration of the support leg device. It is a disassembled perspective view shown. 4 is a longitudinal sectional view in the width direction of the support leg device, FIG. 5 is a longitudinal sectional view in the front-rear direction, and FIG. 6 is an explanatory view showing the operation of the adjuster mechanism.
The support leg device 1 of this example is provided as a support leg for a heavy object (not shown) such as a table so that the heavy object can be easily moved. As shown in FIGS. It is adapted to be mounted on a
As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the support leg device 1 rolls with respect to the installation surface, the
As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4A, the
The interior of the
As shown in FIG. 4A, the support leg
On the other hand, the
The
Further, a projecting
When the
On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 4B, the
More specifically, the
As shown in FIG. 4B, the connecting
The
Next, the operation of the support leg device 1 of this example will be described.
First, when moving a heavy object, the
In this state, the connecting
The
On the other hand, when the heavy object is fixed at an arbitrary place, the
On the other hand, when adjusting the length of the entire support leg to change the height of the heavy object, the
By the way, in the supporting leg apparatus 1 of this example, when the
On the other hand, when the
Thus, according to the support leg device 1 of the present embodiment, the size of the support leg
Further, according to the support leg device 1 of the present embodiment, since the
Further, according to the support leg device 1 of the present embodiment, the upper-
Further, according to the support leg device 1 of the present embodiment, the
The present invention has been described with reference to the preferred embodiments.
