Claims (2)
- ねじみぞおよびスプラインみぞが設けられたねじ軸と、ねじ軸のねじみぞにボールを介してねじ合わされたボールねじナットと、ねじ軸のスプラインみぞにボールを介して嵌め合わされたスプラインナットと、ねじ軸を保持するハウジングと、ハウジングに衝突することによりボールねじの所定量を超えた移動を規制するストッパと、ストッパ衝突時にボールねじを保護するボールねじ保護手段とを備えているボールねじ装置において、
ボールねじ保護手段は、スプラインナットおよびボールねじナットのいずれか一方のナット本体外周面に設けられたナット本体テーパ面と、ナット本体テーパ面に対応するようにナット本体保持部に形成された保持部テーパ面と、ナット本体をナット本体テーパ面と保持部テーパ面間の摩擦力が増大する方向に付勢するナット本体付勢部材とを備えており、ナット本体テーパ面および保持部テーパ面のテーパ方向は、ストッパ衝突時に作用する力が両テーパ面間の摩擦力が減少する方向に作用するように設定されていることを特徴とするボールねじ装置。 - スプラインナットのナット本体保持部がハウジングの一端部に形成された開口に連なるように設けられ、各テーパ面は、開口に向かって径が小さくなるものとされ、ナット本体付勢部材は、ナット本体を開口に向かう方向に付勢し、ストッパは、ナット本体の開口側の端面に衝突するようになされていることを特徴とする請求項1のボールねじ装置。
