Description
The present invention relates to a planar antenna.
Conventionally, planar antennas of various shapes and sizes are known. For example, it is a planar antenna in which a pair of rhombus antenna elements are arranged symmetrically with their apexes close to each other, and the diagonal length dimension of each antenna element is set to a half wavelength of the target wave. A length and shape have been proposed (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
By the way, in the planar antenna described in the above-mentioned
More generally, the lower limit operating frequency of the planar antenna is determined by the value of VSWR (voltage standing wave ratio) measured at the antenna input end and the length of the antenna element. In the case of a dipole antenna of 3.0 or less, an element length of about a half wavelength (in air) is required. As a method of shortening the element length, there is a method of embedding or pasting in a dielectric, but the limit is the inverse of the square root of the dielectric constant of the dielectric used. Accordingly, the element length increases as the frequency used decreases, and electronic / communication devices that use radio waves, such as mobile phones and personal computers with wireless LAN functions, have difficulty in mounting.
Therefore, the present invention solves such a problem and has a wide directivity with sufficient directivity and sufficient antenna gain so that the usable frequency --- the lower limit frequency --- can be reduced to a small value. The purpose is to provide Alternatively, if applicable to the same lower limit frequency, it can be made more compact than conventional planar antennas, and the antenna gain can be maintained sufficiently, and electronic and communication equipment using radio waves can be made compact. The purpose is to provide a planar antenna that can contribute and can be easily mounted on them.

In order to achieve the above object, the planar antenna according to the present invention has a finite resistance value so that the VSWR is 3.0 or less and the gain reduction is within 5 dB in the range of 470 MHz to 3000 MHz. Is partially laminated so as to cover 30% to 90% of the total area of the planar antenna element.
In addition, a pair of the planar antenna elements is arranged symmetrically with respect to a straight line, each planar antenna element is substantially elliptical, and the planar antenna element is planar from a mutually adjacent portion where the pair of planar antenna elements are close to each other. Feeding leg pieces are provided so as to project along the straight line, and the resistance film is laminated so as to overlap at least a root region of the leg pieces and a feeding leg piece side region of the antenna element.
Further, the antenna element and the resistive film have visible light transmittance.
Further, the finite resistance value of the resistive film was set to 1,000Ω / □ or less. More preferably,
600Ω / □ or less.
According to the planar antenna of the present invention, even if the frequency to be used is lowered, the size of the planar antenna can be relatively small, and it can be easily mounted on electronic / communication equipment that has recently been miniaturized. That is, it can be used in the same frequency band as the conventional one with a smaller size than the conventional planar antenna.
Or if it was the same dimension as the conventional planar antenna, the outstanding wideband antenna which can cover even a sufficiently low frequency band was realizable with simple structure.
Moreover, according to the present invention, the antenna gain is hardly lowered (as compared to the case without the resistance film) by partially laminating the resistance film over the entire area of the antenna element.
In other words, a planar antenna has been obtained that is capable of handling a very wide frequency band and at the same time has successfully achieved both characteristics of sufficient antenna gain.
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings illustrating embodiments.

In the present invention, the VSWR can be 3.0 or less (as will be described later) in the frequency range of 470 MHz to 3000 MHz, and the finite resistance value is set as such. Moreover, with respect to the antenna gain, the cover of the

The following can be seen from FIG.
In Comparative Example 1, for example, when the usable VSWR value is “3.0”, the lower limit frequency is about 900 MHz (0.9 GHz). It can be seen that this is not applicable.
On the other hand, the lower limit frequencies of Comparative Example 2 and the present example are 0.12 GHz and 0.2 GHz, respectively. That is, it can be used in a wide frequency band including a frequency of 0.47 GHz for terrestrial digital television. Further, although 2450 MHz to 3000 MHz is generally used for wireless LAN, the comparative examples 1 and 2 and the present embodiment can also be used for such a frequency range.
Next, FIG. 5, FIG. 6, and FIG. 7 show the results of measuring the directivity gain at frequencies of 0.47 GHz, 1.5 GHz, and 2.45 GHz, respectively, for the above-described embodiment, comparative example 1, and comparative example 2. It is a pie chart which shows.
As shown in FIG. 5, this example shows the most excellent result (high antenna gain) at 0.47 GHz. Further, as shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, Comparative Example 2 (which is the best in FIG. 4 described above) shows that the antenna gain is too low in the high frequency band and is not suitable as a broadband antenna. Clearly shows.
The measurement results shown in FIGS. 5, 6, and 7 are summarized from the following viewpoints as shown in Tables 1 and 2 below. In addition, () shows the amount of gain reduction. Moreover, the average gain of Table 2 shows the average value in the angle range of 180 ° from the left 90 ° to the right 90 °.
From Table 1 and Table 2, it can be said that Comparative Example 2 in which the resistive film is coated on the entire surface shows a large gain reduction of 5 dB or more in the high frequency band where the gain reduction is 1500 MHz (1.5 GHz) or more, and is “bad”.
In short, according to the embodiment of the present invention, the
In the present invention, “the amount of gain decrease is within 5 dB” is measured with reference to an antenna having the same shape and having no
