Description
共沈が使用される場合、金および1つ以上の金属酸化物またはその前駆体は、溶液から同時に沈殿する。この方法では、通常、水溶性金化合物(例えばテトラクロロ−金酸、シアン化金またはクロロ金酸ナトリウム)を含む水溶液および亜鉛および別の金属の水溶性塩(例えば硝酸塩)を最終的な混合金属酸化物中で金、亜鉛および他の金属が所望の比で製するのに必要な量を用いて調整する。溶液のpHは、塩基(アンモニアまたはアルカリ金属炭酸塩または水酸化物(例えばNH4OH、NaOH、Na2CO3、K2CO3またはLi2CO3)または尿素)を添加することによって、金が亜鉛およびその他の金属の水酸化物または酸化物と共に沈殿するpHにまで上昇させる。そのpHは、金およびキャリアーに使用する前駆体にもよるが、通常7から10の範囲内である。得られた金を担持した触媒は、水性液から分離され、洗浄、乾燥される。洗浄は、金が塩化物含有溶液から析出した場合、特に重要である。
逆析出沈殿法が使用される場合、触媒は、金化合物を含む溶液からキャリアー上に金を析出させることによって製せられる。得られた金を担持したキャリアーは、溶液から分離され、乾燥される。
金と亜鉛および他の金属の混合酸化物とを含み、この酸化物が他の金属に対して相対的に少ない量の亜鉛を含む触媒に好適な別の調製方法では、他の金属の酸化物を最初に亜鉛に含浸させ、それから金を得られた物質上に析出させる。
亜鉛と他の金属の混合酸化物は、これら2つの別個の酸化物を所望の比で粉砕およびブレンドまたは物理的に混合することによって調製することも可能である。例えばZnOとAl2O3との混合酸化物は、このように調製される。それから金を上述の方法で混合酸化物上に析出させる。これを触媒の製造において従来知られている方法で成形する。他のキャリアー材料、例えばグラファイトまたは珪素などをこの工程で触媒に組み込んでもよい。
上述のいずれかの方法で調製された金担持触媒をさらに処理することによって触媒の活性を変えることができる。例えば触媒を使用する前に、通常50から500℃(好ましくは100から300℃)の温度で1から5時間加熱することによって焼成してもよい。焼成の効果は、触媒中に存在するAu(OH)3および他のAu(III)類を金属状態の金に還元し、触媒の表面に酸化状態(Auδ+)の金類と共に金属状態(Au0)の金類を製することである。
Au3+ → Au0+ Auδ+
A.銅とマンガンの混合物、ホプカライト、これに0.5重量%の金を析出させ、還元雰囲気下で予備処理していない。
B.CuO:ZnO比が2:1の銅と亜鉛の混合酸化物、これに3.4重量%の金を実施例9から14と類似の方法を用いて析出させ、1.5容量%一酸化炭素空気混合物の還元雰囲気で予備処理した。
C.市販の酸化チタン、これに0.5重量%の金を析出させ、1.5容量%一酸化炭素空気混合物の還元雰囲気で予備処理した。
D.市販の酸化チタン、これに3.0重量%の金を析出させ、1.5容量%一酸化炭素空気混合物の還元雰囲気で予備処理した。
E.実施例27で使用した亜鉛/アルミニウム酸化物キャリアー、これに4.9重量%の金を析出させ、1.5容量%一酸化炭素空気混合物の還元雰囲気で予備処理した。
F.サンプルBの銅−亜鉛酸化物、これに1.5重量%の金を析出させ、1.5容量%一酸化炭素空気混合物の還元雰囲気で予備処理した。
Claims (22)
- 喫煙材と、喫煙材の喫煙分解生成物中の一酸化炭素を二酸化炭素に酸化するための触媒とを含み、この触媒が、亜鉛および別の金属の混合酸化物と、金を併有し、その金が金属状態の金類(Au0)と酸化状態の金類(Auδ+)で構成される喫煙品。
- 触媒に含まれる前記金の50%を超える量が金属状態(Au0)にある請求項1記載の喫煙品。
- 前記触媒が、亜鉛と等電点が6から10である金属の混合酸化物と、金を併有することを特徴とする請求項1または2記載の喫煙品。
- 前記触媒が、亜鉛およびアルミニウムの混合酸化物と金を併有することを特徴とする請求項1または2記載の喫煙品。
- 前記触媒が、亜鉛および銅の混合酸化物と金を併有することを特徴とする請求項1または2記載の喫煙品。
- 前記触媒が、亜鉛および別の金属の混合酸化物上に、金化合物の溶液から金を析出させ、その溶液から金担持酸化物を分離して調製されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至5いずれか1項記載の喫煙品。
- 前記金担持酸化物が焼成されることを特徴とする請求項6記載の喫煙品。
- 前記金担持酸化物が還元雰囲気中で処理されることを特徴とする請求項6記載の喫煙品。
- 前記喫煙材のロッドと、煙フィルターとを含み、前記触媒がこの煙フィルター内に包含されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至8いずれか1項記載の喫煙品。
- 前記喫煙材のロッドを含み、前記触媒がこのロッドに包含されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至8いずれか1項記載の喫煙品。
- ラッパーで巻かれた喫煙材のロッドを含み、前記触媒がこのラッパーに包含されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至8いずれか1項記載の喫煙品。
- タバコおよび/または非タバコの喫煙材と、その喫煙材の喫煙分解生成物中の一酸化炭素を二酸化炭素に酸化するための触媒を併有し、この触媒が、亜鉛および別の金属の混合酸化物と、金を併有し、その金が金属状態の金類(Au 0 )と酸化状態の金類(Au δ+ )で構成される喫煙品。
- 一酸化炭素を二酸化炭素に酸化する触媒に、喫煙材の分解生成物を接触させる前記分解生成物の処理方法であって、前記触媒が、亜鉛および別の金属の混合酸化物と、金を併有し、その金が金属状態の金類(Au 0 )と酸化状態の金類(Au δ+ )で構成される方法。
- 請求項1乃至8いずれか1項記載の触媒を調製する工程と、喫煙の際の燃焼生成物が前記触媒に接触するように、その触媒を喫煙品中に組み込む工程とを含む喫煙品の製造方法。
- 請求項1乃至8いずれか1項記載の触媒を含む喫煙品用煙フィルター。
- フィルターを介して吸引される煙中の粒状物から触媒を保護するための少なくとも1つのフィルターエレメントをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項15記載のフィルター。
- 前記フィルターエレメントが亜鉛の酸化物を含むことを特徴とする請求項16記載のフィルター。
- 前記フィルターエレメントが活性炭を含むことを特徴とする請求項16または17記載のフィルター。
- 喫煙品用のホルダーと、前記触媒を含むフィルターエレメントとを含むことを特徴とする請求項15乃至18いずれか1項記載のフィルター。
- 前記触媒がフィルタートウに含まれる請求項15記載のフィルター。
- 亜鉛および別の金属の混合酸化物と、金を併有し、その金が金属状態の金類(Au 0 )と酸化状態の金類(Au δ+ )で構成される触媒を含む喫煙品用ケーシング。
