Claims (1)
- 被測定ガス中の特定ガスの濃度に応じて電気的特性が変化する固体電解質体と該固体電解質体上に形成された一対の電極とを有するセンサ素子と、前記センサ素子を加熱するヒータとを有し、前記センサ素子の先端部は、前記被測定ガスを導入するための貫通孔を有するプロテクタにより覆われているガスセンサが劣化しているか否かを判定するガスセンサの劣化判定方法であって、
所定温度の雰囲気に前記ガスセンサが晒された状態で、前記ヒータに電力を供給した際の前記センサ素子の内部抵抗値を、前記ヒータへの複数の異なる供給電力について取得する内部抵抗値取得工程と、
前記内部抵抗値取得工程において取得された複数の前記内部抵抗値に基づき、前記センサ素子が劣化しているか否かを判定する劣化判定工程と
を備え、
前記劣化判定工程では、
前記内部抵抗値取得工程において取得された複数の前記内部抵抗値と、当該各内部抵抗値が得られた前記ヒータへの各供給電力に基づいてアレニウスプロットにより直線を算出し、
当該直線に基づいて前記ヒータへの非通電時の理論内部抵抗値を算出し、
初期状態のガスセンサを用いて、前記直線を求めた方法と同じ方法で求めた直線である基準線と同じ傾きを有し、かつ前記理論内部抵抗値を通る直線に対し、前記内部抵抗値を取得する際に供給した電力を代入することで算出して求めた真の理論内部抵抗値に基づき、前記センサ素子が劣化しているか否かを判定することを特徴とするガスセンサの劣化判定方法。
