Description
The present invention relates to a bioreactor suitably used for biological treatment of wastewater, and more particularly to a bioreactor provided with a gas-liquid solid separation chamber in the upper part of a bioreaction container.
有機性排水の生物処理にUASB(Upflow Anaerobic Sludge Blanket)あるいはEGSB(Expanded Granular Sludge Bed)方式の生物処理装置が広く用いられている。 For biological treatment of organic wastewater, UASB (Upflow Anaerobic Sludge Blanket) or EGSB (Expanded Granular Sludge Bed) type biological treatment equipment is widely used. According to these UASB and EGSB treatments, organic substances in the wastewater are converted into methane and CO 2 gas by anaerobic biological treatment. Therefore, biological treatment for water gas (methane, CO 2), will include liquid (water) and solid (sludge). In order to efficiently perform the UASB and EGSB processes, it is necessary to perform gas-liquid solid separation so that the solid content does not flow out.
Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 10-165980 and Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 7-507233 disclose gas-liquid solid separation for separating and separating solids in the upper part of a biological treatment reaction tank such as the UASB method and for floating and separating gases. It is described that a vessel is provided.
The gas-liquid solid separator used in the above-mentioned JP-A-10-165980 and JP-A-7-507233 has a simple structure and low gas-liquid solid separation efficiency.
An object of the present invention is to provide a bioreactor that has high gas-liquid solid separation efficiency and can therefore increase the bioreaction efficiency in the container.
The bioreactor according to claim 1 is a container in which a biological reaction process of a liquid is performed, and a liquid that is provided in an upper part of the container and into which the liquid flows, and the solid content in the liquid is settled and separated. And a gas-liquid solid separation chamber in which gas separation is performed, a tapered shape that is concentrically arranged in the gas-liquid solid separation chamber and spaced apart from each other, and has a smaller diameter toward the bottom. The gas-liquid solid separation chamber includes an upper cylindrical portion and a conical portion connected to the lower side of the cylindrical portion, and the upper end of the outermost baffle is The cylindrical portion is in contact with or fixed to the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical portion, and the cylindrical portion has an inflow portion so that the liquid in the container flows between the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical portion and the outermost baffle. The inflow portion is a contact portion between the outermost baffle and the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical portion. Is located below the fixing portion, and a solid content discharge pipe for allowing the solid content settled in the gas-liquid solid separation chamber to flow downward from the gas-liquid solid separation chamber by gravity is provided from the lower end of the conical portion. provided to extend downward, vertical length h 2 of the solid content discharge pipe, is 0.1 times the inner diameter d 1 of the cylindrical portion, wherein the solids discharge pipe, extends in a vertical direction An upper pipe that is connected to the upper pipe, and a lower pipe that extends laterally or obliquely downward, and an opening at the end of the lower pipe is laterally or obliquely upward. It is.
The bioreactor according to
The bioreactor according to claim 3 is the bioreactor according to
A bioreactor according to a fourth aspect of the present invention is the bioreactor according to any one of the first to third aspects, wherein the gas flows out from between the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical portion and the outermost baffle to the outer peripheral side of the cylindrical portion. A gas vent (10a) is provided below the abutting portion or the fixing portion between the outermost baffle of the cylindrical portion and the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical portion .
In the bioreactor of the present invention, a plurality of baffles are provided concentrically in the gas-liquid solid separation chamber in the upper part of the reaction vessel, and the gas-liquid solid separation efficiency is high. For this reason, the biological treatment reaction efficiency in a container can be made high.
When the solid content discharge pipe is extended downward from the lower end portion of the conical portion as in the present invention , the solid content stays in the discharge pipe and gradually flows out from the discharge pipe toward the lower part of the container by gravity. Since solids having a higher density (specific gravity) than the liquid stays in the discharge pipe, the liquid does not flow back from the discharge pipe to the gas-liquid solid separation chamber, and the gas-liquid solid separation efficiency in the gas-liquid solid separation chamber is high. Maintained on things.
In the present invention, when the lower pipe is set sideways or obliquely downward, the solid content tends to stay in the discharge pipe. Moreover, by making the lower end or the end opening of the solid content discharge pipe laterally or obliquely upward, the gas generated in the reaction vessel is reliably prevented from flowing into the discharge pipe.
Since the solid content stays from the lower part of the gas-liquid solid separation chamber to the discharge pipe, the gas can be extracted from the retained solid content by providing a gas vent hole in this portion as in
As in
According to the third aspect of the present invention, when a liquid flows in a tangential direction between the outermost baffle and the cylindrical portion , a swirling flow of the liquid is formed in the gas-liquid solid separation chamber, and the gas-liquid solid separation is extremely sufficient. To be done.

The raw water is subjected to anaerobic biological treatment in the biological reaction zone S, and then introduced into the gas-liquid / solid-separator 4 (gas-liquid / solid separation chamber) in the upper part of the container 1 for gas-liquid solid separation.
