Description
The present invention relates to a hair protecting composition that is less irritating to the scalp and can impart a good feel to hair.
Conventionally, a composition for protecting hair such as a hair treatment has an excellent emulsifying power, can exhibit a stable emulsifying action, and can impart a good feel to the hair. An activator was blended (Patent Document 1). However, quaternary cationic surfactants have a problem that they are strongly irritating to the scalp and easily cause itching and inflammation on the scalp.
On the other hand, the tertiary cationic surfactant has no problem of irritation to the scalp, but it has a poor emulsifying power, it is difficult to exert a stable emulsifying action, and it is inferior to the feeling of use and finish. Met. The use of a non-ionic surfactant that is gentle on the skin is also conceivable, but the use of non-ionic surfactant may cause inconvenience in use and finish, such as hair becoming stiff or crunchy. Met.
Furthermore, silicones are blended in conventional hair protecting compositions in order to further improve the treatment effect. In particular, when a surfactant that is gentle to the scalp such as a tertiary cationic surfactant or a nonionic surfactant is used, the treatment effect is inferior to that when a quaternary cationic surfactant is used. There was a need to improve the treatment effect by blending. However, many consumers dislike the artificial feel caused by silicones, and in addition, the hair protecting composition containing silicones accumulates silicones on the surface of the hair when used continuously, and the hair becomes hard and used. The build-up occurred by repeating the number of times, and there were drawbacks such as hair stiffening and volume down. That is, a hair protecting composition that is gentle on hair and scalp, and that can fully exhibit the treatment effect without blending silicones, and has an excellent feeling of use and finish. The current situation is not.
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is a hair protecting composition that acts mildly on the scalp, and can sufficiently exhibit a treatment effect without blending silicones. The object is to provide an excellent hair protecting composition.
As a result of intensive studies to solve the above problems, the present inventors have found that the amidoamine-based tertiary cationic surfactant can be stably emulsified by blending a specific higher alcohol, that is, α-monoalkylglyceryl ether. By blending α-monoalkyl glyceryl ether, it is possible to impart natural luster and smoothness to hair without blending silicones. It has been found that a feeling of finish can be obtained. The present invention has been completed based on these findings and further research.
