Claims (34)
- 電極のアレイを製造し、当該製造には、前記電極に誘電層を積層し、前記誘電層の一部を選択的に除去して、前記電極の表面の一部を露出させ、当該電極の表面の露出した一部に化学種を形成することを含み、
前記誘電層の一部を選択的に除去中に、前記電極の表面に形成された前記化学種を利用して前記電極の少なくとも一つにプローブ分子を結合することを含む、センサーのアレイを作製する方法。 - 製造がフォトリソグラフィーの使用を含めた請求項1の方法。
- 電極が炭素を含む請求項1の方法。
- 電極の表面に形成された化学種がカルボキシル基である請求項3の方法。
- プローブ分子を結合させる工程の前に、カルボキシル基がEDCまたはDCCおよびNHSで処理される請求項4の方法。
- プローブ分子を結合させる工程の前に、電極がタンパク質で処理されて、プローブ分子を電極に結合させる請求項5の方法。
- タンパク質がアビジンを含む請求項6の方法。
- プローブ分子がビオチン部分を含み、プローブ分子が、ビオチン部分とタンパク質との間での結合により電極に結合する請求項7の方法。
- プローブ分子が核酸を含む請求項1の方法。
- センサーのアレイが、核酸を含む標的分子とプローブ分子とのハイブリダイゼーションを検出するために用いられる請求項9の方法。
- ハイブリダイゼーションの検出が電気化学的技術を含む請求項10の方法。
- 電気化学的技術が電流測定である請求項11の方法。
- プローブ分子を、電極との電子移動が可能な種と接触させる工程をさらに含む請求項11の方法。
- 電子移動が可能な種がルテニウムを含む請求項13の方法。
- 試料が標的分子を含む否かを決定するためのもしくは試料中の標的分子量を決定するための、試料のアッセイを行う方法であって、
電極を製造し、当該製造には、前記電極に誘電層を積層し、前記誘電層の一部を選択的に除去して、前記電極の表面の一部を露出させ、当該電極の表面の露出した一部に化学種を形成することを含み;
前記誘電層の一部を選択的に除去中に形成される前記電極の表面上の前記化学種を利用することにより、前記標的分子にハイブリダイズ可能なプローブ分子を電極に結合させ;そして
プローブ分子を試料と接触させることを含む、方法。 - 電気化学的技術を用いて試料をアッセイする工程をさらに含む請求項15の方法。
- 電気化学的技術が電流測定である請求項16の方法。
- プローブ分子を、電極との電子移動が可能な種と接触させる工程をさらに含む請求項16の方法。
- 電子移動が可能な種がルテニウムを含む請求項18の方法。
- フォトリソグラフィーが製造工程中に用いられる請求項15の方法。
- 銅の積層基板が製造工程中に用いられる請求項20の方法。
- 製造工程がフォトリソグラフィーと銅のエッチングとを使用して基板上に銅のトレースを定めることを含む請求項21の方法。
- 製造工程が基板上への電極材料のスクリーン印刷をさらに含む請求項22の方法。
- 前記誘電層が、LPIはんだマスクである請求項23の方法。
- 製造工程が、フォトリソグラフィーにより電極材料上に領域を定めて、アルカリ溶液を使ってLPIはんだマスクを現像することをさらに含む請求項24の方法。
- アルカリ溶液の使用が電極の表面上に化学種を形成させる請求項25の方法。
