Description
Claims (23)
- 外部から入力される格納データを少なくとも2つ以上のガンマ値を用いて逆ガンマ補正するための逆ガンマ調整ブロックと、
前記逆ガンマ調整ブロックから逆ガンマ補正されて出力される少なくとも二つ以上の出力データのうちいずれか一つを出力するための選択部と、を含み、
前記選択部は、ピクセルクロック、水平同期信号及び垂直同期信号のうち少なくとも一つ以上を用いて前記二つ以上の出力データのうちいずれか一つを出力することを特徴とするプラズマディスプレイパネルの駆動装置。 - 前記逆ガンマ調整ブロックは、
前記格納データを逆ガンマ補正するための互いに相異なるガンマテーブルを持つ逆ガンマ調整部を少なくとも2つ以上含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載のプラズマディスプレイパネルの駆動装置。 - 前記逆ガンマ調整ブロックに含まれた一つの逆ガンマ調整部は、2.2ガンマテーブルを用いて格納データを逆ガンマ補正することを特徴とする請求項2記載のプラズマディスプレイパネルの駆動装置。
- 前記2.2ガンマテーブルを持つ逆ガンマ調整部を除いた残りの逆ガンマ調整部は、前記2.2ガンマテーブルを変更した変形ガンマテーブルを用いて格納データを逆ガンマ補正することを特徴とする請求項3記載のプラズマディスプレイパネルの駆動装置。
- 前記変形ガンマテーブルは、前記2.2ガンマテーブルに一定の値を加算または減算して生成されることを特徴とする請求項4記載のプラズマディスプレイパネルの駆動装置。
- 前記変形ガンマテーブルは、前記2.2ガンマテーブルに一定の値を乗算または除算して生成されることを特徴とする請求項4記載のプラズマディスプレイパネルの駆動装置。
- 前記変形ガンマテーブルは、前記2.2ガンマテーブルの出力階調値をシフトして生成されることを特徴とする請求項4記載のプラズマディスプレイパネルの駆動装置。
- 前記変形ガンマテーブルは、前記2.2ガンマテーブルの一部領域の値を変更して生成されることを特徴とする請求項4〜7のいずれか記載のプラズマディスプレイパネルの駆動装置。
- 前記変形ガンマテーブルは、前記2.2ガンマテーブルの全体領域の値を変更して生成されることを特徴とする請求項4〜7のいずれか記載のプラズマディスプレイパネルの駆動装置。
- 前記選択部は、前記ピクセルクロックに応じて前記二つ以上の出力データをピクセル毎に交互に出力することを特徴とする請求項1記載のプラズマディスプレイパネルの駆動装置。
- 前記選択部は、前記水平同期信号に応じて前記二つ以上の出力データをライン毎に交互に出力することを特徴とする請求項1記載のプラズマディスプレイパネルの駆動装置。
- 前記選択部は、前記垂直同期信号に応じて前記二つ以上の出力データをフレーム毎に交互に出力することを特徴とする請求項1記載のプラズマディスプレイパネルの駆動装置。
- 前記選択部は、前記ピクセルクロックに応じて選択する出力データをピクセル毎に変更するとともに、前記水平同期信号に応じて選択する出力データをライン毎に変更し、前記垂直同期信号に応じて選択する出力データをフレーム毎に変更することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のプラズマディスプレイパネルの駆動装置。
- 2.2ガンマテーブル及び前記2.2ガンマテーブルと相異なるガンマ値を有する少なくとも一つ以上の変形ガンマテーブルを設ける段階と、
外部から入力される格納データを前記2.2ガンマテーブル及び前記少なくとも一つ以上の変形ガンマテーブルを用いて逆ガンマ補正する段階と、
前記2.2ガンマテーブル及び前記少なくとも一つ以上の変形ガンマテーブルによって逆ガンマ補正された少なくとも二つ以上の出力データのうちいずれか一つを出力する段階と、を含み、
前記逆ガンマ補正された出力データのうちいずれか一つを出力する段階では、外部から入力されるピクセルクロック、水平同期信号及び垂直同期信号のうち少なくとも一つ以上を用いて前記少なくとも二つ以上の出力データのうちいずれか一つを出力することを特徴とするプラズマディスプレイパネルの駆動方法。 - 前記変形ガンマテーブルは、前記2.2ガンマテーブルに一定の値を加算または減算して生成されることを特徴とする請求項14記載のプラズマディスプレイパネルの駆動方法。
- 前記変形ガンマテーブルは、前記2.2ガンマテーブルに一定の値を乗算または除算して生成されることを特徴とする請求項14記載のプラズマディスプレイパネルの駆動方法。
- 前記変形ガンマテーブルは、前記2.2ガンマテーブルの出力階調値をシフトして生成されることを特徴とする請求項14記載のプラズマディスプレイパネルの駆動方法。
- 前記変形ガンマテーブルは、前記2.2ガンマテーブルの一部領域の値を変更して生成されることを特徴とする請求項15〜17のいずれか記載のプラズマディスプレイパネルの駆動方法。
- 前記変形ガンマテーブルは、前記2.2ガンマテーブルの全体領域の値を変更して生成されることを特徴とする請求項15〜17のいずれか記載のプラズマディスプレイパネルの駆動方法。
- 前記逆ガンマ補正された出力データのうちいずれか一つを出力する段階では、前記ピクセルクロックに応じて前記出力データをピクセル毎に交互に出力することを特徴とする請求項14記載のプラズマディスプレイパネルの駆動方法。
- 前記逆ガンマ補正された出力データのうちいずれか一つを出力する段階では、前記水平同期信号に応じて前記出力データをライン毎に交互に出力することを特徴とする請求項14記載のプラズマディスプレイパネルの駆動方法。
- 前記逆ガンマ補正された出力データのうちいずれか一つを出力する段階では、前記垂直同期信号に応じて前記出力データをフレーム毎に交互に出力することを特徴とする請求項14記載のプラズマディスプレイパネルの駆動方法。
- 前記逆ガンマ補正された出力データのうちいずれか一つを出力する段階では、前記ピクセルクロックに応じて選択する出力データをピクセル毎に変更するとともに、前記水平同期信号に応じて選択する出力データをライン毎に変更し、前記垂直同期信号に応じて選択する出力データをフレーム毎に変更することを特徴とする、請求項14記載のプラズマディスプレイパネルの駆動方法。
