Description
The present invention relates to a penetration tester with a soil moisture meter capable of measuring the penetration resistance value of the ground and the volumetric moisture content of the soil.
The surface layer collapse, often called “collapse”, occurs during heavy rains, causing great damage to houses and human lives. For this reason, the elucidation of the generation mechanism and the accurate prediction of the occurrence location are socially demanded, and various methods are conceived for this purpose (for example, see Patent Document 1).
Many surface collapses occur in valley topography where water tends to collect. The occurrence of surface layer collapse on valley topography can be predicted to some extent from the physical hydrological model based on rainfall waveform information and topographic information.
However, there are many surface failures that occur on convex slopes and parallel slopes where water concentration cannot occur. In addition, even if it is the same slope topography, there are places where the surface layer collapse occurs and places where it does not occur, and it is very difficult to accurately predict the position where the surface layer collapse occurs.
On the other hand, as a result of surveying the slope of occurrence of surface layer collapse, springs from rock fractures etc. were frequently found on the collapse slope, and this caused many surface layer collapses in places with high water collection I know that. Therefore, if the information on the internal structure of the soil layer, particularly information on the concentration of water in the soil layer, for example, information on the spatial distribution of slope soil moisture, can be acquired in advance, the prediction accuracy of the occurrence position of the surface layer collapse can be improved. .
First, the first method is a method of measuring soil moisture by sampling soil and measuring the weight before and after drying.
The second method is a method of measuring soil moisture with a moisture meter embedded in the soil in advance.
However, these methods all require time and effort to increase the number of soil sampling locations and moisture meter installation locations in order to increase the spatial resolution of soil moisture.
On the other hand, as a third method, there is a method using a non-contact soil moisture measurement technique by electric exploration, underground radar or the like. However, this method requires an expensive device, and the characteristics of, for example, a rock layer and a clay layer other than soil moisture affect the measured value, and cannot be measured with high accuracy.
The problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a penetration tester with a soil moisture meter that can accurately and easily measure the spatial distribution of soil moisture inside the soil layer.

The rod is detachably inserted between the upper rod and the lower rod, the upper rod, the lower rod detachably connected to the lower portion of the upper rod, and the entire length of the rod is extended.

In this embodiment, the length dimensions of the upper rod 22, the lower rod 24, and the extension rod 26 are set to 895 mm, 1040 mm, and 1120 mm, respectively. Accordingly, the length of the entire rod 20 when only the upper rod 22 and the lower rod 24 are connected is 1935 mm, and the entire rod 20 when the extension rod 26 is inserted between the upper rod 22 and the lower rod 24. The length dimension is extended to 3055 mm.

On the outer peripheral surface of the rod 20, a plurality of scale lines 61 indicating the height dimension from the lower end of the penetrating cone 40 are provided. A plurality of wrench grooves 63 are formed on the outer peripheral surface of the rod 20.
FIG. 4 is a longitudinal sectional view (a) and a front view (b) showing the overall structure of the upper rod 22. A knocking head 65 is provided on the outer peripheral surface near the lower portion of the upper rod 22. A weight 50 is detachably inserted into the upper rod 22 portion above the knocking head 65 (see FIG. 2). An annular groove portion 67 is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the upper portion of the upper rod 22, and a C ring 69 is fitted in the groove portion 67. The C ring 69 is fitted into the groove 67 after the weight 50 is loosely inserted from the upper end of the upper rod 22. This prevents the weight 50 from coming out of the upper rod 22. Further, the weight 50 can be taken out from the upper rod 22 by removing the C ring 69 from the groove portion 67.
Further, a connecting portion 71 for connecting to the lower rod 24 or the extension rod 26 is provided at the lower end portion of the upper rod 22. The connection part 71 is comprised from the external thread part 71a and the cylindrical part 71b.

A mounting portion 73 having a smaller outer diameter than the other portions is provided at the lower portion of the lower rod 24. The sensor part 34 is attached to the attachment part 73. A slit 75 is formed at the lower end of the mounting portion 73.
Further, an upper connecting portion 77 and a lower connecting portion 78 are formed at both upper and lower ends of the lower rod 24, respectively. The upper connecting portion 77 is for connecting the lower rod 24 to the upper rod 22 or the extension rod 26, and includes an internal thread portion 77a and a cylindrical portion 77b communicating with the through hole 24a. Each of the female screw portion 77a and the cylindrical portion 77b has a larger inner diameter than the through hole 24a. The lower connecting portion 78 is for connecting the penetrating cone 40 to the lower rod 24, and is composed of a female screw formed on the inner peripheral surface of the through hole 24a.
FIG. 6 is a longitudinal sectional view (a) and a front view (b) showing the entire configuration of the extension rod 26. The extension rod 26 is provided with an upper connecting portion 80 and a lower connecting portion 81 at both upper and lower ends thereof. The upper connecting portion 80 is for connecting the extension rod 26 and the upper rod 22, and is formed of an internal thread portion 80a and a cylindrical portion 80b formed on the inner peripheral surface of the through hole 26a and having a larger diameter than the through hole 26a. Has been. The lower connecting portion 81 is for connecting the extension rod 26 and the lower rod 26, and includes a male screw portion 81a and a cylindrical portion 81b.
FIG. 7 is a front view of the penetrating cone 40 shown in a state of being connected to the lower connecting portion 78 of the lower rod 24. The penetration cone 40 is made of stainless steel that has been subjected to nitriding treatment, and has a conical portion 41 at a lower end portion and a male screw portion 42 that is screwed into the lower connecting portion 78 at an upper end portion. The penetration cone 40 is connected to the lower connecting portion 78 through the rubber packing 43.
FIG. 8 shows the entire configuration (a) of the sensor unit 34 of the soil moisture meter 30, the configuration (b) of the connecting portion between the sensor unit 34 and the moisture meter body 33, and a partially enlarged view (c) of the sensor unit 34. ing.
The sensor unit 34 includes an acrylic resin cylindrical body 35 attached to the mounting portion 73 of the lower rod 24, two stainless steel wires 36 wound around the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical body 35, the stainless steel wires 36 and the moisture meter body 33. It is comprised from the connection part 37 which connects.
The cylindrical body 35 has a spindle shape, and the outer diameter of the upper and lower ends is substantially the same as the outer diameter of the rod 20, and the outer diameter of the center is set slightly larger than the outer diameter of the rod 20. . For this reason, when the sensor part 34 is penetrated into the soil together with the rod 20 or pulled up from the soil, the cylindrical body 35 does not become a large resistance, and the destruction of the cylindrical body 35 can be prevented as much as possible.
In addition, two parallel spiral grooves 38 are formed on the outer peripheral surface of the central portion of the cylindrical body 35, and the stainless wire 36 is embedded in the spiral grooves 38. The depth dimension of the spiral groove 38 is set to about 0.5 mm, and the diameter dimension of the stainless wire 36 is set to about 0.55 mm. Accordingly, a part of the stainless wire 36 embedded in the spiral groove 38 is exposed to the outside (see FIG. 8C). With such a configuration, the contact between the stainless steel wire 36 and the soil when the cylindrical body 35 penetrates into the soil is improved.
A stopper 39 that protrudes inward of the cylindrical body 35 is fixed to a portion of the cylindrical body 35 that is positioned below the lower end of the stainless steel wire 36. When the cylindrical body 35 is mounted on the mounting portion 73, the stopper 39 is inserted into the slit 75 of the lower rod 24. This prevents the cylindrical body 35 from rotating along the mounting portion 73 when the rod 20 is taken in and out of the ground. For this reason, disconnection of the stainless steel wire 36, the signal line 37a, and the ground line 37b can be prevented.
The connecting portion 37 includes a signal wire 37 a and a ground wire 37 b connected to the lower end of the stainless steel wire 36, and a coaxial cable 37 c that connects the signal wire 37 a and ground wire 37 b to the moisture meter body 33. The signal line 37 a and the ground line 37 b are disposed inside the cylindrical body 35, and the lower ends thereof pass through the cylindrical body 35 and are connected to the lower ends of the stainless wire 36. The upper ends of the signal line 37a and the ground line 37b are connected to the coaxial cable 37c.
The cylindrical body 35 is mounted on the mounting portion 73 of the lower rod 24 through a Teflon (registered trademark) pad 35a. The extension rod 26 and the upper rod 22 are connected to the lower rod 24. At this time, the signal line 37 a and the ground line 37 b are inserted into the through hole 24 a through the slit 75. The coaxial cable 37 c passes through the through hole 24 a of the lower rod 24, passes through the extension rod 26 and the through holes 26 a and 22 a of the upper portion 22, and is drawn out from the upper end portion of the upper rod 22. The upper end portion of the coaxial cable 37 c drawn from the upper end portion of the upper rod 22 is connected to the moisture meter main body 33.
前記土壌水分計30は、一般的な土壌水分計の一つであるTDR(Time Domain Reflectometry)式土壌水分計から構成されている。
In this case, it is necessary to perform calibration in order to minimize measurement errors due to different characteristics for each sensor unit 34. However, in the soil moisture meter 30, simple and highly accurate calibration using water and air. It can be performed.
Specifically, since the dielectric constants of water and air are 80 and 1, respectively, the cylindrical body 35 is placed in the soil from the output value of the moisture meter body 33 when the cylindrical body 35 is placed in water and air. The output value of the moisture meter main body 33 when buried is corrected.
9 and 10 show the output value of the moisture meter main body 33 and the corrected output value when six different sensor units 34 are respectively attached to the rod 20. As shown in FIGS. 9 and 10, the output value after correction has a smaller variation between the sensor units 34, and the characteristics unique to the sensor unit 34 can be removed.
The penetration tester with a soil moisture meter having the above-described configuration is used in a state where the rod 20 stands in the vertical direction while pressing the tip of the penetration cone 40 against the ground surface such as a mountain slope to be measured. Specifically, when striking the knocking head 65 in the weight 50 freely down the weight 50 of 2kg on knocking head 65, penetration cone 40 penetrates into the ground together with the rod 20. By measuring the number of hits (drop / 10 cm) every time the penetration cone 40 penetrates 10 cm as an index of penetration resistance, the vertical distribution of soil hardness and density of the ground, the thickness of the soil layer, and the like can be obtained.
Further, when the penetrating cone 40 is penetrating into the ground, the cylindrical body 35 located immediately above the penetrating cone 40 is buried in the soil. Therefore, if an electromagnetic wave is generated from the electromagnetic wave pulse generator 31 in this state, the relative dielectric constant in the soil can be obtained.
Thus, the penetration tester of the present embodiment can simultaneously measure the ground penetration resistance value and the vertical distribution of the relative dielectric constant of the soil. In particular, if the relative dielectric constant is obtained every time the penetration cone 40 is penetrated by 10 cm, the penetration resistance value and the relative dielectric constant can be measured in association with each other. Moreover, since the stainless steel wire 36 is wound around the center of the spindle-shaped cylindrical body 35 to improve the contact between the stainless steel wire 36 and the soil, the relative dielectric constant can be measured with high accuracy.
Next, the measurement example using the penetration tester with the above-mentioned soil moisture meter is demonstrated.
<Measurement example 1>
FIG. 11 shows penetration at a certain test site using the penetration tester of the above embodiment (hereinafter referred to as CPMP (Combined Penetrometer-TDR Moisture Probe)) and the Hasegawa-type soil penetration meter (shown as “Hasegawa-type” in FIG. 11). The result of measuring the vertical distribution of resistance (drop / 10cm) is shown. In FIG. 11, the measurement results at two different points are shown side by side. The Hasegawa-type soil penetration meter has been widely used as a measuring instrument for soil penetration resistance.
As shown in FIG. 11, although the penetration resistance values by both measuring instruments did not completely match, the tendency and characteristics of the vertical distribution were well matched. From this, it is thought that the influence on the measurement of the penetration resistance value by attaching the soil moisture meter is small.
既存の土壌水分計として、TDR(Time Domain Reflectometry)式土壌水分計(型番:CS605)を用いた。
<Measurement example 2>
FIG. 12 shows the results of measuring the vertical distribution of the relative permittivity of soil using the above penetration tester (CPMP) and the existing soil moisture meter (Comparative Example 2) at two different test sites in Shiga Prefecture. Show. A TDR (Time Domain Reflectometry) type soil moisture meter (model number: CS605) was used as an existing soil moisture meter.
As shown in FIG. 12, although the relative permittivity of the soil by both measuring instruments did not completely match, the tendency and characteristics of the vertical distribution matched well. From this, it can be said that the penetration tester with a soil moisture meter described above can accurately measure the vertical distribution of soil moisture.
<Measurement example 3>
FIG. 13 shows the relationship between the volumetric water content and the soil depth on the hillside slope, which is a test site in Shiga Prefecture, and FIG. 14 shows the relationship between the penetration resistance value, the dry density, and the soil depth at the test site.
In FIG. 13, the solid line indicates the volumetric water content (cm 3 / cm 3 ) obtained by substituting the relative permittivity (κ) of the soil measured using CPMP into the following conversion formula, and the black circle points indicate the test site. The volumetric water content obtained from the soil sample collected in Fig. 1 using a weighing method is shown.
As shown in FIG. 13, the volumetric water content obtained by calculation from the relative dielectric constant and the volumetric water content obtained by the weighing method almost coincided. Moreover, as shown in FIG. 14, the positive correlation was seen between the penetration resistance value calculated | required by CPMP, and the dry density of a soil sample. From the above, it can be seen that by using CPMP, detailed distribution of soil moisture and soil structure can be measured on an actual hillside slope.
<Measurement example 4>
FIG. 15 shows the vertical distribution of penetration resistance value and relative permittivity obtained by using CPMP at a test site in Shiga Prefecture. In this measurement example, the result of measuring in a relatively deep soil layer (5 m or more) is shown. As shown in FIG. 15, even if it is a deep soil layer (about 5 m), a penetration resistance value and a dielectric constant can be measured favorably.
<Measurement example 5>
FIG. 16 shows the vertical distribution of penetration resistance value and relative permittivity obtained by using CPMP at a test site in Shiga Prefecture. Groundwater exists in the test site, and the groundwater level measured by the observation well is shown by a solid line in FIG. It can be seen from FIG. 16 that the depth at which the relative permittivity increases rapidly matches the groundwater level well. From this, by using the penetration tester of the present embodiment, it is possible to accurately grasp the presence of groundwater and the groundwater level.
<Measurement example 6>
FIG. 17 shows the vertical distribution of penetration resistance value and relative permittivity obtained by using CPMP at a test site in Shiga Prefecture. As shown in FIG. 17, since a soil layer level (indicated by an arrow in FIG. 17) having a locally high relative dielectric constant was observed at the test site, water is thought to flow through this layer level. . Thus, by using the penetration tester of the present embodiment, it is possible to selectively detect a location where water in the soil layer flows.
<Measurement example 7>
FIG. 18 shows a two-dimensional distribution of the penetration resistance value and the relative permittivity obtained by using the CPMP at a test site in Shiga Prefecture. A large number of arrows in the upper part of FIG. 18 indicate points where the penetration resistance values and the like are measured. From FIG. 18, it can be seen that the penetration resistance value changes substantially uniformly in the depth direction in the test site, whereas the relative permittivity is very unevenly distributed. Thus, by continuously measuring the vertical distribution of the penetration resistance value and the relative permittivity at a plurality of locations, the two-dimensional distribution of the penetration resistance value and the relative permittivity can be grasped.
