Claims (5)
- 内燃機関(1)であって、排気マニホールド(2)と、排気管路(3)と、内燃機関(1)のための燃焼用空気の過給のために設けられているコンプレッサを駆動する排気ターボチャージャ(4)と、排気管路(3)から分岐した、パワータービン(9)が配置されているバイパス管路(5)とを備えており、短絡管路(6)がバイパス管路(5)から分岐して、排気ターボチャージャ(4)の下流側の排気管路区分(7)に開口している内燃機関において、
電気機械(10)が設けられており、該電気機械(10)はパワータービン(9)に接続されており、
排気ターボチャージャ(4)から流出する排気を、短絡管路(6)内に迂回させた後にパワータービン(9)へと迂回させるように、第1の弁(8)が排気ターボチャージャ(4)の下流側の排気管路区分(7)に配置されており、排気ターボチャージャ(4)から流出する排気の短絡管路(6)への迂回時に、電気機械(10)は電気モータとして運転されることを特徴とする、内燃機関。 - 電気機械(10)は内燃機関(1)の運転点に応じてジェネレータとして又はモータとして運転されることを特徴とする、請求項1記載の内燃機関。
- 排気管路(3)及び/又はバイパス管路(5)内には、少なくとも1つの第2の弁(11)が配置されており、該第2の弁(11)によってバイパス管路(5)を通じて迂回させられる排気量が調節可能であることを特徴とする、請求項1又は2記載の内燃機関。
- 排気ターボチャージャ(4)から流出する排気の短絡管路(6)への迂回時に、排気管路(3)とバイパス管路(5)との接続は第2の弁(11)により閉鎖されることを特徴とする、請求項1から3までのいずれか一項記載の内燃機関。
- 排気ターボチャージャ(4)から流出する排気の短絡管路(6)への迂回は、低回転数及び中回転数の場合に行われることを特徴とする、請求項1から4までのいずれか一項記載の内燃機関。
