前記手摺りは、下部に取り付けた取付金具で、天板の下縁に固定され、天板の長さ方向の両端に立設される支柱と、この支柱間に水平に架設される上桟および幅木と、上桟と幅木との間に適宜間隔で配設される縦桟とで構成し、
縦桟の上下端がそれぞれ上桟の下面と幅木との上面とに固定され、
