BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a non-contact IC card for communicating with an external reader / writer (hereinafter referred to as “R / W”) by an electrostatic coupling method, and a non-contact IC card sending medium for sending the non-contact IC card. It is.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Traditionally, when an exhibition is held, the exhibition organizer will make an announcement on the website in advance so that a large number of people can visit the exhibition hall, and send invitations to visitors. It was issued and the reception management was performed by reading the barcode printed on the invitation card that the invitee brought in at the time of reception.
However, with barcodes, the amount of information that can be stored is small, so applications that utilize information are limited.
[0003]
Therefore, in order to solve this problem, there is a non-contact IC card sending medium (see Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2001-122603). According to this non-contact IC card sending medium, for example, the business card in the exhibition hall can be improved by sending an IC card equipped with a non-contact IC chip as an invitation. It is now possible to develop multifunctional applications with this single contactless IC card, such as functionality, visitor trend surveys, and popular booth surveys.
However, this non-contact IC card sending medium sends a non-contact IC card that communicates with the R / W by electromagnetic induction, and must form a coil made of a highly conductive material. There was a problem that the manufacturing cost was high.
Further, since the coil is formed by etching or the like on the mount serving as the base material of the non-contact IC card, there is a possibility that disconnection may occur due to bending or the like of the mount.
[0004]
In order to solve these problems, there is a non-contact IC card shown in FIG.
9A is a rear view of the non-contact IC card, FIG. 9B is a cross-sectional view along PP ′ of FIG. 9A, and FIGS. 9C and 9D illustrate communication with the R / W. It is a circuit diagram.
As shown in FIGS. 9A and 9B, the non-contact IC card 10-5 includes an
As shown in FIGS. 9B and 9C, the first and second antenna portions 121-5 and 122-5 and the two
[0005]
As shown in FIG. 9D, the non-contact IC card 10-5 is gripped by directly touching one antenna part (first antenna part 121-5) with a finger or through a protective film or the like. The other antenna portion (second antenna portion 122-5) is grounded via a capacitor or the like, and functions as a capacitor plate with respect to the external R / W, and forms a circuit with the R / W. Communication is performed by a coupling method (a method in which capacitive plates are arranged to face each other and communicate by electrostatic induction). For example, Motorola's “BISTATIX” (trade name) communicates in this manner.
[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the non-contact IC card 10-5 needs to be grounded by gripping one of the first or second antenna units 121-5 and 122-5. May become shorter and communication functions may not be fully utilized.
In addition, there is a problem that the communication function is disabled when the first and second antenna units 121-5 and 122-5 are gripped at the same time and short-circuited.
Furthermore, since the portion of the
