Description
The present invention is a pen that stores ink for writing or coating directly in a shaft cylinder or in an internal ink tank in a free state, and serves as an ink discharge unit such as a plurality of fiber converging bodies, sintered bodies, thin tube pipes, and ballpoint pen tips. It relates to a double-head writing instrument to which the tip is connected.
The ink can be stored in the ink tank in the free state directly in the shaft cylinder or in the internal ink tank, and the remaining amount of ink from the outside can be visually recognized. There is known a double-head writing instrument to which the above functionality is given.
As in the invention disclosed in Patent Document 1, the ink is accommodated at both ends of one refill, and the air refill hole is provided at the center of the refill to move the ink as the ink decreases. In addition, ink filling and centrifugal treatment for removing bubbles present in the ink are difficult, and there is a problem that substantial mass production is difficult.
Further, as in the invention disclosed in
The present invention includes an ink tank and an ink follower that moves in one direction in contact with the ink interface as the ink decreases, and a plurality of pen nibs are connected to the ink in the ink tank. An ink distribution pipe comprising a first pen tip connected to a tip of the ink interface in a moving direction, and an ink inlet opening in the vicinity of the ink inlet to the first pen tip. And a second pen tip connected to the opening opposite to the ink entry port of the ink distribution pipe, and the ink distribution pipe is a gist of a multi-head writing instrument arranged penetrating through the ink follower. To do.
The ink tank is equipped with an ink and an ink follower that moves in one direction in contact with the ink interface as the ink decreases, and a multi-head consisting of a plurality of pen tips connected to the ink in the ink tank. An ink distribution pipe which is a writing instrument , wherein a first pen tip is connected to a tip of the ink interface in a moving direction, and an ink intrusion opening is opened in the vicinity of the ink inlet to the first pen tip, and the ink Since the ink penetrating pipe is disposed through the ink follower and has a second pen tip connected to the opening on the opposite side of the ink penetrating opening of the circulation pipe , the ink and the ink follower are subjected to centrifugal action. Can be easily assembled without complicating the parts and process of the writing instrument.
In addition, since a plurality of pen nibs are connected together in the same ink tank, a plurality of types of functionality can be maintained with a single one until all ink is used up.
The double-head writing instrument of the present invention has an ink follower that freely stores ink in an ink tank in a shaft cylinder of the main body and moves in one direction along with the ink interface as the ink is reduced. The tip is connected to suppress ink inflow from the side, and at the inside of the ink tank, one end is connected to the ink at the bottom of the ink tank, and the other end extends the ink follower to the back of the ink follower side nib. As a double-headed multi-head writing instrument with an ink distribution pipe connected to the end, and equipped with a resistance mechanism against the ink head to suppress ink leakage from the pen tip arranged in the direction of movement of the ink follower It can be used suitably.
Pen nibs include polyethylene terephthalate fibers, polyamide fibers, polyacrylonitrile fibers converged with adhesives, processed into a suitable shape by grinding and cutting, sintered bodies cured by heat treatment after injection molding, polyacetal The so-called resin pen tip, which is formed by extrusion molding, etc., a stainless steel pipe is cut, a thin tube pipe whose surface is polished and coated, an injection molded product of synthetic resin, a ball at the tip of a ball holder which is cut stainless steel, etc. For example, a ball-point pen tip holding the
Also, in the case of a ballpoint pen tip, a coil spring is disposed inside, and the ball is urged forward to abut against the inner edge of the ball holder to form a valve that opens during writing, and against the ink head that suppresses ink outflow. It can also be a resistor.
The ink stored in the ink tank in the shaft cylinder is appropriately set according to the use of the nibs at both ends and the discharge performance thereof, for example, oil-based ink using an organic solvent such as isopropyl alcohol as the main solvent, A water-based ink containing water as a main solvent can be used. In particular, in consideration of ink discharge performance from the nib, in the case of a nib formed by a fiber converging body or the like having a relatively large ink ejection amount, 100 mPa · s or less (B-type viscometer No. 3 rotor , 60 rpm, 25 ° C.), and those formed by a ball-point pen tip having a relatively small ink discharge amount are relatively low such as 300 mPa · s or less (B-type viscometer No. 3 rotor, 60 rpm, 25 ° C.). Good viscosity.
In addition, for oil-based inks, it is possible to select organic solvents such as xylene in addition to isopropyl alcohol from the vapor pressure and evaporation rate in consideration of the quick drying of the coated surface after writing. Isopropyl alcohol that can suppress disgust due to odor as much as possible can be preferably used.
The ink follower is appropriately set according to the ink interface following ink discharge, ink backflow prevention, ink affinity, and physical properties such as viscosity and surface tension. In the case of an ink using isopropyl alcohol as a main solvent, a base material of a hydrocarbon-based synthetic oil such as polybutene, α-olefin, or poly-α-olefin, or a high-viscosity gel-like material in which a gelling agent is mixed with this base material can be exemplified . In addition, water and glycerin can be used as a base material for inks having affinity with hydrocarbon-based synthetic oils.
In addition, for example, when the inner diameter of the ink tank becomes relatively large depending on the ink filling amount, the viscosity of a high-viscosity gel is increased, and the interfacial tension with respect to the inner wall surface of the ink tank is decreased. However, if there is a limit in setting the physical properties in consideration of the followability with the ink, the followability with the ink can be maintained by placing a floating body that is at least partially immersed in a high-viscosity gel. Meanwhile, the backward flow of the high-viscosity gel and ink can be suppressed.
Furthermore, as an ink follower, the moving partition formed with an elastomer other than a fluid can be illustrated. The moving partition may be a solid rod-like body, but the shape of the bottomed cylinder is suitable in consideration of the following surface with respect to the ink interface. As the material for the moving partition wall, most vulcanized rubbers and thermoplastic elastomers can be used in the case of water-based inks. However, in the case of oil-based inks, nitrile rubber, hydrogenated nitrile are considered in consideration of deformation, dissolution, swelling, etc. due to the ink. Examples thereof include vulcanized rubbers such as rubber and fluororubber, thermoplastic elastomers such as polyester, nitrile, polyamide, and fluorine.
In order to suppress ink leakage from the pen tip on the ink follower side, the ink distribution pipe is formed such that ink does not flow from the side and ink is always supplied from the bottom surface of the ink tank where the ink head is not applied as much as possible. Even if the ink distribution pipe, nib or ink follower has a function as a resistor for the ink head, the ink in the ink tank decreases with consumption even if the ink head is not particularly required to be considered. The ink connection part of the ink distribution pipe is arranged as close to the bottom surface of the ink tank as possible so that the ink follower does not move and the connection between the ink distribution pipe and the ink is not interrupted.
The ink distribution pipe is a fiber converging body in which polyethylene terephthalate fiber, polyamide fiber, and polyacrylonitrile fiber are converged by melting fibers having different melting points, in a tubular shape that is open at both ends or near the end, Contained in the interior is a continuous porous body in which continuous pores are formed by foaming or elution of synthetic resin such as urethane, and a collection of granular materials in which synthetic resins such as polyethylene terephthalate, polypropylene and polyethylene are deposited in the form of small spheres or powder. Can be exemplified. In addition, in the case where the pen tip connected to the ink circulation pipe is a ball head pen or the like and becomes a resistor of the ink head, it may be a hollow tube. Examples of the tubular material include an extruded pipe made of a synthetic resin, an injection molded integral part with a pen tip attaching portion, and a metal pipe. Furthermore, the side surface of the rod-like material of the fiber converging body can be exemplified by a synthetic resin such as polyacetal, polypropylene, polyethylene, polyethylene terephthalate, etc. formed into a skin by two-color extrusion molding.
As a resistor for the ink head, a coil spring is disposed inside, such as the above-described ballpoint pen tip, and the ball is urged forward to come into contact with the inner edge of the ball holder so as to open during writing. A valve that opens and closes as the pen tip slides back and forth with an elastic member such as a spring or elastomer, a tubular object that has a capillary force greater than the head pressure by the ink head, and an ink follower that supports the ink head by adhesion to the inner wall of the ink tank Etc. can be exemplified.
As a member that may come into contact with ink, it is preferable to select a member that has minimal reaction and swelling. Examples of oil-based inks include polyethylene terephthalate, polyethylene naphthalate,

At the rear end of the rear shaft 1, a nib holder that is an injection-molded product of polypropylene that connects a
