Description
The present invention relates to a centrifugal blower suitable for use in a vehicle air conditioner.
車両用空気調和装置には、HVAC(Heating Ventilation & Air Conditioning)ユニットが多用されている。
HVAC (Heating Ventilation & Air Conditioning) units are frequently used in vehicle air conditioners. This HVAC unit includes, for example, a centrifugal blower as a blower. This centrifugal blower sucks air from the bell mouth by rotation of an impeller provided with a plurality of blades, and blows air outward in the radial direction.
In such a centrifugal blower, a reverse flow phenomenon that flows in a direction opposite to the main flow of the intake air occurs at the suction portion near the blade upstream end when the air volume is small such as in the foot mode or the defrost mode. The problem is noise generated by the interference of the back flow with the main flow and the blade upstream end.
In order to solve this problem,
Moreover, in patent document 2, the backflow area | region and the mainstream area | region are isolate | separated by providing a guide wall in the inner peripheral side of a bellmouth.
However, the technology described in
Moreover, the technique of patent document 2 is provided with many sub wings between the guide wall and the bell mouth. Since these auxiliary blades are provided at regular intervals in the circumferential direction, there is a possibility that regular noise (periodic sound) may be generated according to the rotational speed of the impeller.
The present invention has been made in view of such circumstances, and in particular, a centrifugal device that prevents backflow noise generated in the suction portion near the blade upstream end when the flow rate is small and can reduce periodic sounds. An object is to provide a blower and an air conditioner for a vehicle.
In order to solve the above problems, the centrifugal blower and the vehicle air conditioner of the present invention employ the following means.
That is, the centrifugal blower according to the present invention has a plurality of wings that are erected on the bottom plate that rotates about the axis and that are arranged at a predetermined interval in the circumferential direction of the bottom plate. An impeller that blows out the gas sucked in from the axis side to the outer peripheral side, a driving device that rotates the impeller around the axis, and the impeller is stored, and the tongue is started on the outer peripheral side of the impeller And a casing having a bell mouth that forms a suction port for the gas sucked from the axis side on the upstream side of the gas flow of each of the blades, and a casing on the inner peripheral side of the bell mouth A centrifugal blower including an inner wall portion extending substantially in the axial direction, and supporting the inner wall portion between the inner wall portion and the bell mouth, and the wing Opposite to Multiple provided a support member circumferentially provided, wherein the different circumferential spacing adjacent of the support members respectively.
By rotating the impeller around the axis by the driving device, the blades standing on the bottom plate rotate, and gas is sucked from the axis and blown to the outer peripheral side. Thus, the main flow of gas flows from the axial side to the outer peripheral side, but when the gas flow rate is small, a phenomenon occurs in which a part of the gas flows backward with respect to the main flow in the suction portion near the blade upstream end. In the present invention, by adopting an inner wall portion that is spaced apart from the inner peripheral side of the bell mouth and extends substantially in the axial direction, a flow path that guides a reverse flow with the inner peripheral side of the bell mouth is formed. The reverse flow was made to flow in the substantially axial direction along the inner wall portion so as to be away from the upstream end of the blade. By keeping the reverse flow away from the blade upstream end in this way, the circulation flow caused by the reverse flow generated at the suction portion near the blade upstream end is eliminated, and the generation of noise can be suppressed. Further, by eliminating the reverse flow from the suction portion of the blade, only the forward flow along the main flow can be guided to the impeller, so that stable operation can be achieved even with a small flow rate.
In addition, the backflow which flowed along the inner wall part and passed through the inner wall part joins the mainstream again at a position away from the blade upstream end, and is guided to the blade.
The inner wall portion is supported on the inner peripheral side of the bell mouth by a plurality of support members provided in the circumferential direction. And the circumferential direction space | interval which each support member adjoins decided to differ. That is, it is avoided to arrange the support members at equal intervals in the circumferential direction. Thereby, the regular noise (periodic sound) which generate | occur | produces according to the rotation speed of an impeller can be prevented.
Furthermore, according to the centrifugal blower of the present invention, the downstream end of the inner wall portion is formed with a downstream curved portion that expands toward the downstream side.
By forming a downstream curved portion that expands toward the downstream side at the downstream end of the inner wall portion, the mainstream gas flowing along the inner periphery of the inner wall portion can be accelerated and smoothly guided to the wing. it can.
Furthermore, according to the centrifugal blower of the present invention, the tip of the blade is provided with a shroud formed so as to guide the gas flow to the downstream side on the inner surface thereof, and the downstream curved portion is the downstream curved portion. The inner surface of the shroud is formed so as to be positioned on an extension line extending further from the inner periphery to the downstream side.
In the case where a shroud is provided at the tip of the blade, it is preferable that the inner surface of the shroud (the surface on the bottom plate side) is located on an extension line extending further from the inner periphery of the downstream curved portion to the downstream side. Thereby, the flow of the mainstream gas flowing along the inner periphery of the downstream curved portion of the inner wall portion is guided along the inner surface of the shroud, and the noise reduction effect is further increased.
Furthermore, according to the centrifugal blower of the present invention, an upstream-side curved portion whose diameter increases toward the upstream side is formed at the upstream end of the inner wall portion.
By forming an upstream curved portion that expands toward the upstream side at the upstream end of the inner wall portion, the pressure on the wall surface of the curved portion is reduced, and more gas is transferred to the inner peripheral side of the inner wall portion. Can be captured. Thereby, the noise at the time of small air volume can be reduced more.
Furthermore, according to the centrifugal blower of the present invention, the support member is provided only in a region located in the vicinity of the tongue portion.
The support member is provided only in the region near the tongue, and the support member is not provided in other regions. Thereby, in a region where the support member is not provided, the flow is not hindered by the support member, and the flow rate can be ensured.
Note that the region located in the vicinity of the tongue means a region of, for example, about ± 90 ° with respect to the tongue when the tongue is viewed in plan from the upstream side of the gas sucked into the impeller.
Furthermore, according to the centrifugal blower of the present invention, the extension dimension of the inner wall portion extending substantially in the axial direction is larger in the circumferential direction position where the degree of backflow generated at a small flow rate is larger than in the other circumferential position. It differs according to the circumferential direction position so that it may become large height .
The reverse flow generated at a small flow rate is mainly generated in the vicinity of the tongue, but the magnitude of the reverse flow differs depending on the position in the circumferential direction. Therefore, the extension dimension of the inner wall portion is changed according to the circumferential position. Specifically, the inner wall portion at the circumferential position where the degree of backflow is large is set to an extended dimension larger than the other positions. Thereby, the larger the reverse flow, the farther away from the suction portion of the wing, and the more the noise can be reduced.
Note that the degree of backflow is not necessarily close to the tongue. Therefore, when the position where the degree of backflow is large is located at a position away from the position near the tongue, the extension dimension at the separated position is larger than the extension dimension near the tongue.
In addition, that the extension dimension of an inner wall part is large includes both the case where the extension dimension to the upper end side of an inner wall part is large, and the case where the extension dimension to a lower end side is large. Preferably, the upstream dimension is made as large as possible at a position where the degree of backflow is large.
Furthermore, according to the centrifugal blower of the present invention, the separation interval between the inner wall portion and the inner peripheral surface of the bell mouth is larger in the circumferential position where the degree of backflow generated at a small flow rate is larger than in other circumferential positions. The flow path width is different depending on the position in the circumferential direction so as to increase .
The reverse flow generated at a small flow rate is mainly generated in the vicinity of the tongue, but the magnitude of the reverse flow differs depending on the position in the circumferential direction. Therefore, the spacing between the inner wall portion and the inner peripheral surface of the bell mouth is different depending on the circumferential position. Specifically, the separation interval is increased as the circumferential position has a higher degree of backflow. Thereby, an appropriate separation interval can be set according to the degree of backflow.
Note that the degree of backflow is not necessarily close to the tongue. Therefore, when the position where the degree of backflow is large is located at a position farther away than the position near the tongue, the separation interval at the separated position becomes larger than the extension dimension near the tongue.
Furthermore, according to the centrifugal blower of the present invention, the circumferential region in which the inner wall portion is formed is substantially arc-shaped including the tongue portion when viewed from the upstream side of the gas sucked into the impeller. It is provided in the area.
The inner wall portion may be formed over a 360 ° range as a circular shape when viewed from the upstream side of the gas sucked into the impeller, but the reverse flow generated at a small flow rate mainly occurs in the vicinity of the tongue portion. To do. Therefore, it is preferable to set the circumferential region in which the inner wall portion is formed to an arc-shaped region including the tongue. As described above, since the inner wall portion is provided only in the region where the backflow occurs, the inner wall portion does not exist in the other region, so that the gas flow resistance can be reduced and the gas flow rate is ensured. can do.
The arc-shaped region including the tongue means a region of about ± 90 ° with respect to the tongue.
Furthermore, according to the centrifugal blower of the present invention, the inner wall portion has a tapered shape in which the thickness of the downstream end is thinner than that of the upstream side when viewed from the gas sucked into the impeller. And
Since the wall thickness of the downstream end of the inner wall portion is made thinner than the upstream side and becomes a tapered shape, the gas flowing along the inner wall portion prevents vortices regularly generated from the downstream end of the inner wall portion, Reduce the generation of noise.
Furthermore, according to the centrifugal blower of the present invention, a convex portion protruding to the inner peripheral side is formed at the upstream end of the inner wall portion viewed from the gas sucked into the impeller.
The reverse flow that has flowed through the flow path between the inner wall portion and the bell mouth wraps around the upstream end of the inner wall portion and joins the main flow. When the backflow flows around the upstream end of the inner wall portion, a convex portion that protrudes to the inner peripheral side of the inner wall portion is provided, so that the backflow that flows around adheres to the inner peripheral surface of the inner wall portion and flows. It will be. Thereby, a backflow can be smoothly joined to a mainstream, without disturbing a mainstream.
Moreover, the vehicle air conditioner of the present invention includes the centrifugal blower described in any of the above, performs cooling and / or heating on the gas blown from the centrifugal blower, performs air conditioning, and a face duct. The air-conditioned gas is supplied into the vehicle compartment from either the foot duct or the defrost duct.
In a vehicle air conditioner, the gas flow rate decreases in the foot mode or defrost mode in which the air-conditioned gas is supplied from the foot duct or defrost duct, and the backflow generated in the suction section near the upstream end of the centrifugal fan blades. Noise is a problem. Since the vehicle air conditioner of the present invention includes any one of the centrifugal blowers described above, it is possible to prevent noise caused by backflow even at a small flow rate such as in the foot mode or the defrost mode.
The present invention has the following effects.
By providing the inner wall on the inner circumferential side that is separated from the bell mouth, the reverse flow generated in the suction portion near the upstream end of the blade can be kept away from the blade, so that the generation of abnormal noise due to interference with the reverse flow can be suppressed. it can.
Further, the impeller can be stably operated even at a small flow rate, and the generation of abnormal noise due to fluctuations in the rotational speed and the occurrence of abnormal noise due to the stall of the impeller can be prevented.

As shown in FIG. 5, the
Next, the effect of the HVAC unit provided with the
When the
When the HVAC unit has a small flow rate such as a foot mode or a defrost mode, as shown in FIG. 4, the suction portion near the upstream end of the
FIG. 6 shows aerodynamic characteristics of the
A curve C1 shows the aerodynamic characteristics of the
As shown in the figure, in the face mode where the air volume is large, no backflow occurs in the centrifugal fan of this embodiment or the conventional centrifugal fan, so the operating point coincides at point A. , Stable operation is performed.
On the other hand, in the foot mode or the defrost mode where the air volume is small, the conventional centrifugal blower is unstable due to the backflow generated in the suction section at the upstream end of the main blade and the interference between the circulating vortex generated by the backflow and the main blade. The operation point becomes point B2. Further, around the point B2, the rotational speed of the impeller is likely to fluctuate and a stable operation cannot be performed. On the other hand, in the centrifugal blower of the present embodiment, the reverse flow generated by the
Note that the present embodiment can be modified as follows.
In the present embodiment, for example, as shown in FIG. 1, the
As shown by the curve D1 in the figure, the maximum height is set in the vicinity of the circumferential position corresponding to the vicinity of the tongue 23 (see FIG. 3), and the height is decreased with increasing distance from the position. The effect by this is as follows.
The reverse flow generated at a small flow rate is mainly generated in the vicinity of the
It should be noted that the degree of backflow is not always the greatest near the tongue. Therefore, when the position where the degree of backflow is large is located at a position far from the position closest to the tongue, the height of the
Further, the radial distance (separation interval) between the
Moreover, although the longitudinal cross-sectional shape of the
The predetermined angle α is preferably about 30 degrees.
Further, the tapered shape shown in FIG. 8 may be applied to the
Furthermore, in addition to the cross-sectional shape of the
In addition, it is not essential to combine the
Moreover, you may apply the
Further, as shown in FIG. 10, the
