Description
The present invention relates to a composite multilayer film, and more particularly to a composite multilayer film having moisture resistance.
Polyolefin films have good mechanical properties, water resistance, solvent resistance and shielding properties, and are widely used as general packaging materials.
However, depending on the contents, the polyolefin film alone is insufficient for the moisture shielding / shielding effect. Therefore, techniques such as bonding a polyolefin film and an aluminum foil and depositing aluminum on the surface of the polyolefin film are known and widely practiced.
Moreover, since the said aluminum layer is inferior to a trauma resistance and mechanical strength, bonding strength holding layers, such as a polyamide film, on it is also performed widely.
Such a composite multilayer film in which polyolefin film, aluminum foil, and polyamide film are sequentially laminated accommodates contents such as retort food such as curry, food such as potato chips, and refills such as shampoo and liquid detergent. Widely used as a packaging material for this purpose (for example, Patent Document 1). Since polyolefin has thermal adhesiveness, it is possible to seal the packaging material by heat sealing by setting the polyolefin film to the inside of the packaging material. Moreover, polyamide is excellent in mechanical strength and can improve the durability of the packaging material.
However, even such a packaging material cannot completely block / shield moisture. Therefore, dried products such as dried foods, confectionery, and medicines are packaged together with a small bag in which a desiccant such as silica gel is enclosed. This packaging is carried out by putting a dry product into a bag-shaped packaging material, further feeding a small bag containing a desiccant, and sealing the bag-shaped packaging material. Although the process of introducing the desiccant-containing sachet is usually automated, it complicates the packaging process and may be a manual operation depending on the dried product. Furthermore, in foods such as confectionery, since the desiccant is enclosed in the food, the desiccant may be mistakenly mixed into the food or accidentally swallowed.
Then, it replaced with the desiccant containing small bag and the film containing the desiccant which can be utilized as a packaging material is proposed. For example, a desiccant film made of kneaded molecular sieve (zeolite) as a desiccant with a base resin mainly composed of a high melt flow rate (MFR) ethylene methacrylic acid copolymer (EMAA) has an aluminum layer. A film obtained by bonding on a film by thermal bonding or an adhesive is known (for example, Patent Document 2). This film is inferior in heat seal strength because EMAA, which is the base of the desiccant film, has a low melting point and low crystallinity. Also, the adhesive strength between the desiccant film and the aluminum layer is insufficient.
An object of the present invention is to provide a composite multilayer film having a polyolefin film on one side of an aluminum foil and a polyamide layer on the other side, and having a large amount of water-absorbing filler so that the polyolefin film has sufficient water absorption. Even if it is excellent in appearance and film thickness stability, aluminum foil and polyamide layer can be satisfactorily laminated on it, and heat seal strength and adhesive strength between polyolefin film and aluminum foil are sufficient. It is to provide an excellent composite multilayer film.

The layer (A-1) is a layer on which the layer (B) is laminated. When the film (A) has the layer (A-1), sufficient adhesive strength can be obtained between the layer (B) and the film (A).
(A-2) Water-absorbent resin composition layer The water-absorbent resin composition constituting the layer (A-2) comprises (a) a polyethylene-based resin composition and (b) a water-absorbent filler. The polyethylene resin composition (a) includes an ethylene polymer (a-1) and an acid-modified resin (a-2).
(iv)MFR(190℃、21.18N)が0.1g/10分以上10g/10分未満である。
(A-1) Ethylene-based polymer The ethylene-based polymer has sufficient heat resistance and sufficient filler receptivity to improve the appearance and film thickness stability of the film (A). Thus, it is necessary to satisfy the following (i) to (iv).
(I) The peak top melting point (Tm) on the highest temperature side in the DSC melting curve is 110 ° C. or higher.
(Ii) The heat of fusion (ΔH) in the DSC melting curve is 90 to 180 J / g.
(Iii) The crystallinity (Xc110) at 110 ° C. is 10 to 60%, and (iv) MFR (190 ° C., 21.18N) is 0.1 g / 10 min or more and less than 10 g / 10 min.
When the peak top melting point (Tm) is lower than 110 ° C., the heat resistance may be insufficient. The peak top melting point (Tm) is preferably 120 ° C. or higher, more preferably 125 ° C. or higher. The upper limit of the peak top melting point of the ethylene polymer is physically limited to about 135 ° C., but if the other parameters (ii) to (iv) can be satisfied at the same time, the ethylene polymer The peak top melting point of (a-1) is preferably as high as possible for heat resistance.
Further, if the heat of fusion (ΔH) is less than 90 J / g, the heat resistance may be insufficient, and if it exceeds 180 J / g, the filler acceptability may be insufficient and the film forming property may be inferior. The heat of fusion (ΔH) is preferably 100 to 170 J / g.
Further, if the crystallinity (Xc110) is less than 10%, the heat resistance may be insufficient, and if it exceeds 60%, the filler acceptability may be insufficient and the film forming property may be inferior. The crystallinity (Xc110) is preferably 15 to 45%. The crystallinity at 110 ° C. means the proportion of the crystalline state that is not melted at 110 ° C., and is calculated as the ratio of the melting enthalpy at 110 ° C. or higher to the total melting enthalpy in the DSC melting curve. The
Furthermore, when the MFR is 10 g / 10 min or more, the melt-kneading property (filler dispersibility) between the polyethylene resin composition (a) and the water-absorbing filler (b) becomes insufficient, and the film (A) is formed. The pullability at the time may be reduced, and if it is less than 0.1 g / 10 minutes, it may be difficult to adjust the thickness of the film (A). The MFR is preferably 0.2-7 g / 10 min, most preferably 0.5-5 g / 10 min.
In this specification, the DSC melting curve is a case where a DSC Q1000 model of TA Instruments (TA Instruments Japan Co., Ltd.) is used and the sample is a polyethylene polymer (excluding high density polyethylene). The sample was held at 190 ° C. for 5 minutes, cooled to −10 ° C. at a temperature decrease rate of 10 ° C./min, held at −10 ° C. for 5 minutes, and then heated at 190 ° C. at a rate of 10 ° C./min. In the case where the sample is a polypropylene polymer and high-density polyethylene, the sample is held at 230 ° C. for 5 minutes and then cooled to −10 ° C. at a temperature decrease rate of 10 ° C./min. It is a curve obtained by performing DSC measurement with a temperature program of holding at −10 ° C. for 5 minutes and then heating to 230 ° C. at a rate of temperature increase of 10 ° C./min.
The ethylene polymer in the present invention is not particularly limited as long as it satisfies the above requirements (i) to (iv). For example, low density polyethylene, linear low density polyethylene, ultra-low density polyethylene, high density polyethylene, and a copolymer of ethylene and an α-olefin (for example, 1-butene, 1-hexene, 1-octene, etc.) can be mentioned. An ethylene copolymer using vinyl acetate, methyl acrylate, ethyl acrylate, or the like as a comonomer has a large decrease in crystallinity due to the comonomer, and thus it is difficult to satisfy the requirements (i) to (iv).
An ethylene-type polymer can be used individually by 1 type or as a mixture which mix | blended 2 or more types arbitrarily. When used as a mixture, the entire mixture may satisfy the above requirements (i) to (iv).
(A-2) Acid-modified resin The acid-modified resin has improved water miscibility by improving the miscibility between the hydrophobic ethylene-based polymer (a-1) and the hydrophilic water-absorbing filler (b). It is a component for facilitating the dispersion of the functional filler so that the film (A) is free from defects such as bumps when it is formed.
The acid-modified resin used in the present invention may be anything as long as it is a resin modified with an unsaturated carboxylic acid or a derivative thereof. Examples of unsaturated carboxylic acids include, for example, maleic acid, itaconic acid, fumaric acid, and examples of derivatives thereof include, for example, maleic acid monoester, maleic acid diester, maleic anhydride, itaconic acid monoester, Examples include itaconic acid diester, itaconic anhydride, fumaric acid monoester, fumaric acid diester, fumaric anhydride and the like. Examples of the resin include linear polyethylene, ultra-low density polyethylene, high density polyethylene, ethylene-vinyl acetate (VA) copolymer, ethylene-ethyl acrylate (EA) copolymer, ethylene-methacrylate copolymer, and other ethylene. Examples thereof include a polymer, a propylene polymer, and a styrene elastomer. In view of miscibility with the ethylene polymer (a-1), the resin is most preferably an ethylene polymer.
酸変性樹脂は、好ましくは0.1〜10g/10分のMFR(190℃、21.18N)を有する。 The acid-modified resin preferably has an MFR (190 ° C., 21.18 N) of 0.1 to 10 g / 10 min. More preferably, it is 0.2 to 7 g / 10 minutes, and most preferably 0.5 to 5 g / 10 minutes. If the MFR is higher than the above upper limit, the drawability during film formation may be reduced. If the MFR is lower than the lower limit, it may be difficult to adjust the thickness of the film.
Specific examples of acid-modified resins include Admer (trade name) manufactured by Mitsui Chemicals, Adtex (trade name) manufactured by Nippon Polyolefin Co., Ltd., Polybond (trade name) manufactured by Crompton, and Sumitomo Chemical Co., Ltd. ) Manufactured Bond First (trade name).
The acid-modified resins can be used alone or in combination of two or more.
The polyethylene resin composition (a) contains 99 to 60% by mass of the ethylene polymer (a-1) and 1 to 40% by mass of the acid-modified resin (a-2). More preferably, they are 97-70 mass% of ethylene-type polymer (a-1) and 3-30 mass% of acid-modified resin (a-2), More preferably, ethylene-type polymer (a-1) 95- 80% by mass and 5 to 20% by mass of the acid-modified resin (a-2). If the amount of the acid-modified resin (a-2) is small (that is, the amount of the ethylene polymer (a-1) is large), the water-absorbing filler (b) is not sufficiently dispersed, and a lot of eyes are formed during film formation. Or the film (A) tends to have defects such as bumps. On the other hand, when the acid-modified resin (a-2) is large (that is, the ethylene polymer (a-1) is small), the interaction between the acid-modified resin and the water-absorbing filler becomes very strong, and the water-absorbing resin composition The kneading load at the time of manufacturing the product and the extrusion load at the time of film formation of the film (A) may increase. Moreover, the tensile elongation of the film (A) may decrease.
(B) Water-absorbing filler The water-absorbing filler may be any water-absorbing filler as long as it has water absorption and is stable and does not elute into the solvent. For example, magnesium sulfate, aluminum oxide, silica gel, lime, calcined hydrotalcite, and molecular sieve can be used, and these can be used alone or in combination of two or more.
As the water-absorbing filler, those having a controlled particle size distribution are used so that a uniform film can be obtained which is well dispersed in the polyethylene-based resin composition and has no defects such as blisters. That is, the water-absorbing filler used in the present invention has a particle size (D99) of 30 μm or less and a particle size (D50) of 20 μm or less, where D99 and D50 each have a small particle size in the particle size distribution. The particle diameter at the point where it becomes 99% by mass and 50% by mass is accumulated. D99 is preferably more than 0.01 μm and 20 μm or less, more preferably more than 0.1 μm and 15 μm or less. Moreover, D50 becomes like this. Preferably it is 0.01-15 micrometers, More preferably, it is 0.1-10 micrometers. A coarse filler having a particle size exceeding the upper limit may become a film defect or foreign matter when it is formed. In addition, fillers with too fine particles aggregate to form defects or foreign matter of the film, or if they do not aggregate, a large amount of air is embraced, resulting in poor melt-kneading workability in the production of the water absorbent resin composition. There is a case to do. In order to control the particle size distribution, there are a method of generating large particles and pulverizing and classifying them, and a method of generating fine particles from the beginning and classifying them. Either method may be used as long as the particle size distribution can be controlled within the above range, and is not particularly limited. However, from the viewpoint of extrusion load and film forming property, a method of generating fine particles from the beginning is more preferable.
The water-absorbent resin composition according to the present invention comprises 5 to 200 parts by weight, preferably 10 to 150 parts by weight, more preferably 15 parts by weight of the water-absorbent filler (b) with respect to 100 parts by weight of the polyethylene resin composition (a). Included in an amount of ~ 120 parts by weight. When the amount of the water-absorbing filler (b) is less than the above lower limit, a sufficient water absorbing function cannot be obtained, and when it exceeds the above upper limit, the film forming property may be deteriorated.
In addition to the above-mentioned components, the water-absorbent resin composition is optionally provided with a weathering agent such as a slip agent, phosphorus-based, phenol-based, sulfur-based antioxidant, anti-aging agent, light stabilizer, ultraviolet absorber, etc. , Copper damage inhibitors, aromatic phosphate metal salt-based, gelol-based nucleating agents, glycerin fatty acid monoester and other antistatic agents, colorants, fragrances, antibacterial agents, magnesium oxide, zinc oxide, calcium carbonate, Additives such as fillers such as talc and metal hydrate, plasticizers such as glycerin fatty acid ester-based, paraffin oil, phthalic acid-based, ester-based and the like may be included.
The slip agent can improve the melt-kneading workability during the production of the water-absorbent resin composition, and can avoid the occurrence of die scum and eye grease during film formation. Examples of the slip agent include metal soaps such as calcium stearate, fatty acid amides such as oleic acid amide and erucic acid amide, polyethylene wax, silicone gum, and silicone oil. 0.1-20 mass parts is preferable with respect to 100 mass parts of polyethylene-type resin compositions (a), and, as for the addition amount of a slip agent, More preferably, it is 1-10 mass parts.
(A-3) Crystalline propylene polymer layer The resin constituting the layer (A-3) is not particularly limited as long as it is a crystalline propylene polymer. For example, a propylene homopolymer, Random copolymers of propylene and small amounts of comonomers (eg, ethylene, 1-butene, etc.) and propylene-based block polymers (eg, propylene-ethylene block copolymers, propylene-ethylene-1-butene block copolymers, Propylene-1-butene block copolymer, etc.). The crystalline propylene polymer can be used alone or in combination of two or more.
Examples of commercially available crystalline propylene polymers include F-704NP, F-300SP, F-724NP, E-185G and E-150GK manufactured by Prime Polymer Co., Ltd., FB3HAT, FY6 manufactured by Nippon Polypro Co., Ltd. Examples include FY4, EC7 and EC9, and PC600S and PC412A manufactured by Sun Allomer Co., Ltd.
Since the crystalline propylene polymer has thermal adhesiveness, when the resulting composite multilayer film is processed into a bag shape with the layer (A-3) inside, and when the opening of the bag is sealed by heat sealing Can be processed well.
The polyolefin resin film (A) is formed into a film having a desired thickness by co-extrusion of the acid-modified polyolefin resin, the water-absorbing resin composition and the crystalline propylene polymer described above by the T-die method or the inflation method. Can be obtained.
The film (A) thus obtained can then be used to obtain the composite multilayer film of the present invention by laminating the layer (B) on the layer (A-1) and further laminating the layer (C). Since the film (A) has the layer (A-1) on one side of the water-absorbing layer (A-2) and the layer (A-3) on the other side, the layer (B) and There is little problem that the layer (A-2) generates unnecessary moisture absorption while the (C) is laminated, and the water absorption (moisture resistance) of the composite multilayer film is lowered.
(B) Aluminum layer As the layer (B), an ordinary aluminum foil can be used. For example, use various grades of aluminum foil commercially available from Toyo Aluminum Co., Ltd., Mitsubishi Aluminum Co., Ltd., Nippon Foil Co., Ltd., Sun Aluminum Industry Co., Ltd., Sumi Light Aluminum Foil Co., Ltd. can do.
(C) Polyamide layer Polyamide is excellent in mechanical strength, and by having this layer, the durability of the resulting composite multilayer film can be enhanced. The polyamide used is not particularly limited. For example, nylon 6, nylon 11, nylon 12, nylon 66, nylon 610, nylon 6T, nylon 6I, nylon 9T, nylon M5T, nylon nylon 612, Kevlar (trademark of Kevlar, DuPont) ), Nomex (trademark of DuPont).
Examples of commercially available polyamides include UBE nylon (nylon 6), UBE nylon 66 (nylon 66), UBESTA (nylon 12) manufactured by Ube Industries, Ltd., and alamin (nylon 6, 66, 610, etc.) manufactured by Toray Industries, Inc. ), Toyobo nylon manufactured by Toyobo Co., Ltd. (nylon 6, 66, 6T, etc.), Novamid manufactured by Mitsubishi Engineering Plastics Co., Ltd. (nylon 6, 66, 12), Unitika nylon 6, manufactured by Unitika Ltd., Unitika nylon 66 and Leona (nylon 66) manufactured by Asahi Kasei Chemicals Corporation are listed.
(D) Polyester resin layer This layer is a protective layer optionally laminated on the layer (C). Layer (C) has excellent mechanical strength, but is very fragile to highly permeable and soluble liquids. A composite bag made of the above (A) to (C) is used to produce a packaging bag so that the layer (C) is the outermost layer, and contents such as highly permeable and highly soluble liquid are contained therein. The contents may spill out when the bag mouth is heat sealed. Therefore, it is advantageous to have a further layer (D) on top of the layer (C).
The polyester resin constituting the layer (D) is not particularly limited, and examples thereof include polyethylene terephthalate (PET), polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), polyethylene naphthalate (PEN), polytrimethylene terephthalate (PTT), and polybutylene naphthalate. Includes phthalate (PBN).
Examples of commercially available polyester resins include Viropet (PET and PBT) manufactured by Toyobo Co., Ltd., Toraycon (PBT) manufactured by Toray Industries, Inc., Novaduran (PBT) manufactured by Mitsubishi Engineering Plastics Co., Ltd., and Unitika Co., Ltd. ), And Teijin Chemicals' PET resin, Teonex (PEN) and PBN resin.
In the composite multilayer film of the present invention, the layer (A-1) side of the polyolefin-based resin film (A) and the layer (B) are bonded by a dry laminating method, and then the layer (C) is formed on the layer (B). Can be produced by dry lamination. As the adhesive, an ordinary two-pack type of a polyol main agent and an isocyanate curing agent can be used. Specifically, Takelac (polyol-based main agent) / Takenate (isocyanate-based curing agent) two-component type manufactured by Mitsui Chemicals Polyurethane Co., Ltd. can be mentioned.
The composite multilayer film further having the layer (D) can be obtained by adhering the layer (D) on the layer (C) of the composite multilayer film obtained above by the dry laminating method as described above. . What was mentioned above can be used for an adhesive agent.
The composite multilayer film of the present invention thus obtained has good moisture resistance and solvent resistance, and has sufficient adhesive strength and heat seal strength between the aluminum foil and the polyolefin resin film. It is useful as a packaging material for contents such as foods to be disliked, industrial chemicals from which moisture has been removed such as dry methanol, solvent-used packs, secondary batteries, and the like, and particularly useful as a packaging material for secondary batteries.
EXAMPLES Hereinafter, although this invention is demonstrated concretely based on an Example, this invention is not limited to a following example.

Heat seal strength of polyolefin film The layers (A-3) of the polyolefin film (A) obtained in (2) above are set so that the machine direction of the film is the tensile direction of the T-peel test. Using a HG-100 heat seal tester manufactured by Toyo Seiki Seisakusho Co., Ltd., fusion was performed under the conditions of a temperature of 175 ° C., a time of 2 seconds, and a pressure of 0.2 MPa. Next, an AE-CT type tensile tester manufactured by Toyo Seiki Seisakusho Co., Ltd. was used as a T-shaped peel test, with a peeling width of 25 mm, a peeling speed of 100 mm / min, and a peeling angle of 180 °, and the layer (A-3) The heat seal strength between each other was measured.
Solvent resistance and water absorption capacity in solvent Dimethyl carbonate (DMC) / Diethyl carbonate (DEC) / Ethylene carbonate (EC) = 1/1/1 (volume ratio) Mixing a very small amount of water with an organic solvent. A test solution was obtained. The amount of water in this test solution was measured with a Karl Fischer volumetric titration apparatus (AQ-300 from Hiranuma Sangyo Co., Ltd.) (initial amount of water).
Next, two 20cm x 15cm film pieces are cut out from the film obtained in (4) above, stacked so that the polyolefin film (A) is on the inside, and the three sides are fused by heat sealing to create a bag. Then, after putting 100 g of the above test solution here, the bag mouth was closed by heat sealing. The bag filled with the organic solvent was placed in an environmental tester set to a temperature of 60 ° C. and a humidity of 90%, and an accelerated deterioration test was conducted for 100 days. A sample having no abnormality such as liquid leakage after this accelerated deterioration test was marked with ◯, and a sample with some abnormality was marked with × (solvent resistance). For those having a solvent resistance of ◯, the amount of water in the test solution after the accelerated deterioration test was measured in the same manner as described above in order to examine the water absorption ability. In addition, operations other than the test by the environmental testing machine are performed in a gas displacement glove box (SG-1000 of ASONE CORPORATION) having a dew point temperature of −50 ° C. or less by an air dryer QD20-75 of IAC Corporation. Performed at 25 ° C.

As is apparent from Table 2, the composite multilayer film of the present invention is excellent in water absorption (moisture resistance), solvent resistance and impact resistance.
On the other hand, Comparative Examples 1 to 5 and 7 using the resin compositions III to VII and IX as the layer (A-2) are inferior in the appearance and / or film thickness stability of the polyolefin film (A). The layer (B) and (C) were not laminated because the layer (B) could not be laminated satisfactorily. In Comparative Example 4, a lot of eye grease was generated when the film (A) was formed, and in Comparative Examples 5 and 7, a lot of holes and bumps were generated in the film (A). The composite multilayer film of Comparative Example 6 using the resin composition VIII having a small amount of the water-absorbing filler (b) as the layer (A-2) was insufficient in water absorption (moisture resistance).
The composite multilayer film of Comparative Example 8 having no layer (A-1) had insufficient adhesive strength between the aluminum foil and the polyolefin film and could not withstand the impact bag breaking test. Further, since the layer (A-2) is in direct contact with the outside air until the aluminum foil is bonded, unnecessary moisture absorption proceeds, and the resulting composite multilayer film has weakened water absorption (moisture resistance). . The composite multilayer film of Comparative Example 9 having no layer (A-3) has a structure in which the layer (A-2) is in direct contact with the outside air, and unnecessary moisture absorption proceeds and water absorption (moisture resistance) is reduced. It was.
