Description
The present invention relates to an air spring and a suspension using the air spring, in particular, an air spring capable of improving load resistance and spring constant while achieving downsizing, and a shock absorber separate suspension using the air spring. About.
Usually, a suspension is connected to a vehicle axle. The suspension has functions such as absorbing vibrations and impacts received from the road surface during traveling directly to the body together with the tires to improve riding comfort and preventing damage to the vehicle body and cargo. A spring, which is a main component of the suspension, has a function of supporting the weight of the vehicle body and softening an impact from a road surface. Conventionally, a metal spring has been widely used. The metal spring has a simple structure and can be manufactured at a relatively low cost, and can be widely used from a small car of about 1 ton to a large car of several tens of tons. However, since it is necessary to use a spring that has the strength to ensure the minimum stability when fully loaded, if the number of passengers is small or the load is small, the spring will not be able to expand and contract sufficiently, and the impact mitigation function May not be sufficient. There is an air spring as a means for solving the problem of the metal spring. The air spring is a confined high-pressure air that supports the weight of the vehicle body in an air chamber having an expansion / contraction function. By taking in and out the high-pressure air, a spring force can be generated according to changes in load, vehicle body posture, and running state.
As an air suspension using an air spring, there is one disclosed in Patent Document 1, for example. This air suspension is a so-called absorber coaxial integrated air suspension, and a suspension spring is arranged around the cylinder and rod of the shock absorber, and a diaphragm that forms an air chamber of the air spring is arranged outside the suspension spring. .
In recent years, there has been a tendency for vehicle weight to increase as a result of vigorous upgrading and higher performance of vehicles. As a result, it is desired to improve the load resistance and the spring constant even in the separate absorber type air spring. In this case, however, it is necessary to avoid increasing the diameter of the air spring itself. In order to improve the load resistance and the spring constant, it is conceivable to use a metal spring and an air spring as a parallel spring as in Patent Document 1, but in the case of an absorber separate type air spring, as in the case of an absorber coaxial integral type. Since there is no central axis, there is a problem that the metal spring is buckled and cannot be formed as a spring.
The present invention has been made in view of such a situation, and an object of the present invention is to provide an air spring that can improve load resistance and spring constant without causing an increase in size, and can maintain the establishment of a spring. To do. It is another object of the present invention to provide a shock absorber separate type suspension using the air spring.
In order to solve the above problems, an air spring according to an aspect of the present invention includes a piston coupled to a vibration generating unit, a fixing plate coupled to a vibration receiving unit at a position facing an end surface of the piston, and the piston A cylindrical diaphragm that forms a variable volume air chamber between the fixed plate and a built-in spring that is disposed in the air chamber and has one end in contact with the piston and the other end in contact with the fixed plate. The diaphragm includes a hanging portion that forms a part of the air chamber and hangs down on the outer periphery of the piston, and the piston extends from the end surface of the piston along the circumferential surface of the piston into the hanging portion. to a coil receiving portion, the piston contacting side of the internal spring is disposed in said hanging portion so as to surround the piston, the coil receiving portion is depending portion broken facing the inner bottom surface of the downwardly extending portion Provided with a stop member, in the air chamber, characterized by having a separation wall separating the said internal spring diaphragm.
According to this aspect, the built-in spring is arranged inside the hanging portion as a dead space that hangs down on the outer periphery of the piston when the volume of the air chamber is reduced. As a result, the built-in spring can be disposed inside the air spring without increasing the diameter of the diaphragm, and the load resistance and spring constant of the air spring can be improved. Further, since the built-in spring can be raised from the hanging part that hangs down on the outer periphery of the piston and disposed in the air chamber beyond the upper surface of the piston, the degree of freedom in setting the spring length of the built-in spring is improved. Further, since the built-in spring can be raised from the hanging part that hangs down on the outer periphery of the piston, the built-in spring can be arranged near the inner wall of the diaphragm, and the stability of the shape of the air spring can be improved. Further, since the lower end of the built-in spring is supported by the coil receiving portion and the lower end body portion of the built-in spring can be supported using the piston peripheral surface, the built-in spring can be stably supported in the air chamber. Moreover, buckling of a built-in spring can be suppressed by supporting the lower end trunk | drum part of a built-in spring. Further, when the coil receiving portion is disposed in the hanging portion, when the volume of the air chamber increases, the hanging portion is pulled up and approaches the coil receiving portion, but a drooping damage preventing member is formed in the coil receiving portion. Thus, damage to the diaphragm can be easily avoided. Furthermore, when the built-in spring contracts, the line-to-line contact state is established. This line-to-line contact is particularly likely to occur at the end of the spring, and the surrounding objects are easily pinched. However, by providing a separating wall for separating the built-in spring and the diaphragm in the coil receiving portion, it is possible to avoid the diaphragm from being sandwiched between the spring lines even when the built-in spring is contracted.
In the above embodiment, before Kishide lower breakage preventing member, the portion facing the inner bottom surface of the hanging portion may be curved. By making the part facing the bottom surface of the hanging part of the hanging part damage prevention member into a curved surface shape, even when the diaphragm and the coil receiving part are in contact, the stress concentration on a part of the diaphragm can be alleviated and the diaphragm can be prevented from being damaged. . The drooping breakage prevention member may be formed of an elastic body. The hanging part damage preventing member can be formed of an elastic body, for example, rubber or resin. Further, when the drooping breakage preventing member is an elastic body, it may be structurally elastic depending on the shape of the drooping breakage preventing member. Even in this case, even if the diaphragm and the coil receiving portion come into contact with each other, the diaphragm can be prevented from being damaged.
In order to solve the above-described problem, in another aspect of the present invention, a shock absorber is a suspension disposed outside the vehicle from a position where the air spring is disposed, and the air spring includes a piston coupled to a vibration generating unit. A fixed plate connected to the vibration receiving portion at a position facing the end surface of the piston, a cylindrical diaphragm disposed between the piston and the fixed plate to form a variable volume air chamber, and the air chamber And a built-in spring having one end in contact with the piston and the other end in contact with the fixing plate, and the diaphragm has a hanging portion that hangs down on the outer periphery of the piston while forming a part of the air chamber. a, the piston has a coil receiving portion extending to the hanging portion from the piston end face along the piston periphery, the piston contacting side of the internal spring, the piston Disposed in the hanging portion so as to surround, together with the coil receiving portion includes a hanging portion breakage prevention member facing the inner bottom surface of the hanging portion, in the air chamber, separation separating the said internal spring diaphragm It has a wall .
According to this aspect, the load resistance and spring constant of the suspension can be improved without increasing the diameter of the air spring. Further, since the diameter of the air spring does not increase, the degree of freedom of arrangement of the air spring in the suspension can be improved.
According to the air spring of the present invention, the load resistance and the spring constant can be improved without increasing the size and without impairing the formation of the spring. Further, according to the suspension of the present invention, the load resistance and the spring constant can be improved without increasing the size.
Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention (hereinafter referred to as an embodiment) will be described with reference to the drawings.
The air spring of the present embodiment includes a piston, a fixed plate facing the end surface of the piston, a diaphragm disposed between the piston and the fixed plate to form an air chamber, an air chamber, and one end of the air spring A built-in spring that contacts and has the other end in contact with the fixed plate. The diaphragm has a hanging portion that hangs down on the outer periphery of the piston when the volume of the air chamber is reduced, and the piston contact side of the built-in spring is disposed in the hanging portion so as to surround the piston. By arranging the built-in spring in the hanging portion, the load resistance and the spring constant can be improved without increasing the size of the air spring and without impairing the establishment of the spring.
FIG. 1 is a schematic diagram illustrating a configuration of a suspension using an air spring according to the present embodiment. A
FIG. 2 is a schematic diagram illustrating an example of the internal structure of the
The
Incidentally, the load resistance of the air spring is generally determined by the pressure receiving diameter A shown in FIG. Therefore, when the air spring is used for the suspension, the pressure receiving diameter A is limited by the space that can be allowed by the vehicle to be attached. That is, a general air spring is subjected to a load resistance limitation depending on the usage form. Therefore, in this embodiment, in order to improve the load resistance of the
By the way, when arrange | positioning a coil spring in the
Considering the above points, in the
By the way, when the
Further, the drooping portion
By the way, when the
As described above, in this embodiment, the
In the present embodiment, an example in which the drooping portion
Note that the upper end side of the
Thus, according to the present embodiment, when the
Further, as described above, by using the
Note that the configuration of the
The structure of the
In the present embodiment, the use case of the
The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and various modifications such as design changes can be added based on the knowledge of those skilled in the art. The configuration shown in each figure is for explaining an example, and any configuration that can achieve the same function can be changed as appropriate, and the same effect can be obtained.
