Claims (9)
- チャネル変更ストリームおよびノーマル・ストリームを受信する入力部を有し、ディジタル・ネットワークにおいてチャネル変更を可能にする、該ディジタル・ネットワークにおける回路であって、
契約者宅内設備(CPE)装置からのチャネル変更要求に応答して、該CPE装置に、要求されたチャネルのチャネル変更ストリームを伝送するマルチプレクサと、
前記CPE装置からの前記チャネル変更要求に応答して立てられたフラグを記憶するメモリ装置であり、前記フラグは、前記要求されたチャネルのノーマル・ストリーム中のメモリレス・ピクチャ・エレメントの検出を要求するために立てられ、当該メモリ装置に記憶された前記フラグは、該ノーマル・ストリーム中でメモリレス・ピクチャ・エレメントが検出されたときにリセットされる、メモリ装置と、
前記フラグが前記メモリ装置に記憶されたことに応答して、該チャネル変更ストリームを伝送した後の該ノーマル・ストリーム中のメモリレス・ピクチャ・エレメントを検出するピクチャ・エレメント検出器と、
を含み、
前記マルチプレクサは、メモリレス・ピクチャ・エレメントが該ノーマル・ストリーム中で検出されたときに、該チャネル変更ストリームの代わりに該ノーマル・ストリームを前記CPE装置に伝送し、
チャネル変更ストリームは、ノーマル・ストリームよりも多くのメモリレス・ピクチャ・エレメントを含む、
回路。 - 当該回路は、ディジタル加入者回線アクセス・モデム(DSLAM)中に実装される、請求項1に記載の回路。
- 前記ディジタル・ネットワークが、ディジタル加入者回線(DSL)ネットワークである、請求項1に記載の回路。
- 前記メモリレス・ピクチャ・エレメントが、Iスライス、Iピクチャ、および瞬間デコーダ・リフレッシュ(IDR)ピクチャのいずれかを含む、請求項1に記載の回路。
- ディジタル・ネットワークに接続され、チャネル変更ストリームおよびノーマル・ストリームを受信する入力部を有する回路において、該ディジタル・ネットワークにおけるチャネル変更を可能にする方法であって、
ノーマル・ストリームよりも多くのメモリレス・ピクチャ・エレメントを含むチャネル変更ストリームを利用するステップと、
契約者宅内設備(CPE)装置からのチャネル変更要求に応答して、該CPE装置に、要求されたチャネルのチャネル変更ストリームを伝送するステップと、
前記CPE装置からの前記チャネル変更要求に応答して、前記要求されたチャネルのノーマル・ストリーム中のメモリレス・ピクチャ・エレメントの検出を要求するフラグを立てるステップと、
該ノーマル・ストリーム中でメモリレス・ピクチャ・エレメントが検出されたときに、前記フラグをリセットするステップと、
該チャネル変更ストリームを伝送した後の該ノーマル・ストリーム中のメモリレス・ピクチャ・エレメントを検出するステップと、
メモリレス・ピクチャ・エレメントが該ノーマル・ストリーム中で検出されたときに、該チャネル変更ストリームの代わりに該ノーマル・ストリームを前記CPE装置に伝送するステップと、を含む方法。 - 前記CPE装置からのチャネル変更要求に応答して、前記ノーマル・ストリーム中のメモリレス・ピクチャ・エレメントの検出を要求するフラグを立てるステップをさらに含む、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記回路をディジタル加入者回線アクセス・モデム(DSLAM)に実装するステップをさらに含む、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記回路をディジタル加入者回線(DSL)ネットワークに接続するステップをさらに含む、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記CPE装置からの前記チャネル変更要求に応答して、Iスライス、Iピクチャ、および瞬間デコーダ・リフレッシュ(IDR)ピクチャのいずれかを含むメモリレス・ピクチャ・エレメントの検出を要求するフラグを立てる、請求項5に記載の方法。
