Description
The present invention relates to a capacitor used for backup power source, regeneration, or power storage of various electronic devices, hybrid vehicles, and fuel cell vehicles.
FIG. 6 is a cross-sectional view showing the configuration of this type of conventional capacitor. In FIG. 6,
In the conventional capacitor thus configured, the exposed portion 11b of the current collector on the end face of one electrode of the
Further, as shown in FIG. 7, a plurality of
However, in the conventional capacitor, the exposed portion 11a of the current collector on the end face of one electrode of the
Insulation between the
An object of the present invention is to solve such a conventional problem and to provide a capacitor excellent in moisture resistance in which an anode and a cathode are not short-circuited in any use environment.
In order to solve the above problems, the present invention winds a pair of positive and negative electrodes, each having a polarizable electrode layer formed on a current collector made of a metal foil, shifted in opposite directions with a separator interposed therebetween. Thus, one end of each of the positive and negative electrodes is exposed in the opposite direction, the capacitor element is accommodated together with the driving electrolyte, and one electrode of the capacitor element is electrically connected to the inner bottom surface. Placed in the bottomed cylindrical metal case and the opening of the metal case where the other electrode of the capacitor element is electrically connected to the inner surface, and placed on the surface edge by curling the opening end of the metal case in capacitor comprising a terminal plate to perform sealing over the sealing rubber to be compressed are, the metal cable on the sealing rubber to be exposed to the metal case and the terminal plates after the curling process By disposing the formed so as not more recessed insulating material, it is obtained by the construction coated with exposed portions of the sealing rubber.
As described above, the capacitor according to the present invention has a structure in which the exposed portion of the sealing rubber that insulates the metal plate and the terminal plate that takes out the positive and negative electrodes is covered with the insulating material, so that even when condensation occurs, Since the metal case can be prevented from being short-circuited, the effect that the moisture resistance can be greatly improved is obtained.
