Description
The present invention relates to a dipole antenna that includes a radiating element and is excited when power is supplied to a central portion of the radiating element, and more particularly to a dipole antenna that includes a short-circuit portion that short-circuits the radiating element.

The
In recent years, as a method for forming a dipole antenna, a screen printing method using a conductive ink or a conductive paste has been frequently used because the process is simple. However, since conductive ink and conductive paste are expensive, the use of this material has a problem of increasing the manufacturing cost of the antenna. Therefore, there has been a demand for a method for manufacturing a dipole antenna at low cost without reducing the function (resonance frequency, communication distance, etc.) as an antenna.
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and an object thereof is to provide a dipole antenna that can be manufactured at low cost without deteriorating the function as an antenna.
The dipole antenna of the present invention is a short circuit that short-circuits a radiating element facing each other and having a feeding point on each of the opposing sides, near one feeding point of the radiating element, and near the other feeding point of the radiating element. a dipole antenna and a part, the radiating element, the branch point of the radiating element and the short-circuit portion, said said feed point in the radiating element is an outlined end-side portion of the opposite side And the short-circuit portion is connected to a portion of the radiating element that is not hollowed out.
It is preferable that the short-circuit portion has a branch point with one of the radiating elements as a base end, and a portion reaching the branch point with the other of the radiating elements is hollowed out.
It is preferable that the radiating element and the short-circuit portion are formed by an additive method.
The dipole antenna of the present invention is a short circuit that short-circuits a radiating element facing each other and having a feeding point on each of the opposing sides, near one feeding point of the radiating element, and near the other feeding point of the radiating element. A portion of the radiating element except for the feeding point and its vicinity is hollowed out, and the short circuit portion is connected to a portion of the radiating element that is not hollowed out. Therefore, the amount of material used to form the antenna can be reduced while maintaining the antenna function equivalent to that of the conventional dipole antenna. In particular, in the case of a dipole antenna that is screen-printed in a predetermined pattern using a polymer-type conductive ink or conductive paste on an insulating substrate, material waste can be saved.
In addition, it is possible to prevent the antenna, the IC chip, or the insulating base material on which the antenna is formed from being broken due to heat generated when an IC chip or the like is mounted on the feeding point of the dipole antenna.
