Description
The present invention relates to a male memory fastener made of a shape memory resin having a male screw portion formed on an outer surface and a method for manufacturing the same.
Many fasteners are used in many products. Examples of the fastening body include a screw and a bolt that are male fastening bodies having a male screw portion. When fastening a part or the like to the main body, the part or the like is fixed by turning in the direction in which the screw is tightened. Also, when repairing or dismantling, turn the screw in the direction to loosen and remove the parts from the body.
In recent years, recycling of products has been promoted due to resource and environmental problems, and the ease of dismantling has been demanded as products. In order to facilitate the recycling of the product, it is necessary to easily remove the fastening body.
And the screw manufactured with the shape memory material is proposed. The shape memory material is a material having a property of returning to a shape memory state in advance when the shape recovery temperature is reached by applying heat, and there is a material called a shape memory resin or a shape memory alloy.
And this applicant has proposed the fastening body using shape memory resin in Unexamined-Japanese-Patent No. 2003-145564 (patent document 1). This fastening body is a fastening body made of a shape memory polymer, and is selected from the group consisting of a convex portion, a concave portion, a concave and convex portion, a screw portion, and an inclined portion that exerts a fastening function on the polyurethane-based shape memory polymer portion. At least one shape is provided. Furthermore, as a fastening body, it has a fastening function part made of polyurethane-based shape memory polymer, the outer diameter in the fastening function part is d1, and the outer diameter before secondary shaping is d0. When the inner diameter of the body fastening function part or fitting part is D1, the following formulas (1) and (2)
It has also been proposed to provide the fastening function section so that d0 <D1 (1) and d1> D1 (2) are simultaneously satisfied.
In Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2004-190837 (Patent Document 2), male threads and female threads are formed from a shape memory material having substantially the same shape recovery temperature and shape recovery direction. B is concluded. Then, the screw forming portion 22A of the male screw base material 2A when the male screw recovers its shape has a cylindrical shape with an outer diameter d2 that is substantially the same as the effective diameter of the male screw, without any screw, and the female screw when the female screw recovers its shape. The screw forming portion 32A of the base material 3A has been proposed to have a hole shape having a hole diameter D2 that is substantially the same as the effective diameter of the female screw without a screw.
In the case of forming a male fastening body with a shape memory resin, after molding a fastening body substrate in a form that does not have a fastening function, in a temperature condition below the shape recovery temperature or glass transition temperature of the shape memory resin, It is necessary to perform a plastic deformation process that imparts a fastening function (for example, a male screw portion). The higher the degree of plastic deformation in this plastic deformation step, the lower the rate of restoration to the shape before plastic deformation. However, if the degree of plastic deformation is too small, a state in which the shape is restored does not leave the female fastening body to be fastened.
Therefore, the present invention provides a male fastening body using a shape memory resin, which has a fastening function by maintaining a sufficient fastening force by improving its form and by heating to a shape recovery temperature or higher. The present invention provides a male fastening body made of a shape memory resin that can be surely disappeared and can be easily and reliably detached from a female fastening body to be fastened, and a method for manufacturing the same.

Next, the male fastening body (bolt) of the embodiment shown in FIGS. 19 to 23 will be described.
FIG. 19 is a front view of another embodiment in which the male fastener of the present invention is applied to a bolt. 20 is a side view of the bolt shown in FIG. 21 is a cross-sectional view taken along line FF in FIG. FIG. 22 is an enlarged bottom view of the bolt shown in FIG. FIG. 23 is a perspective view of the bolt shown in FIG.
The difference between the male fastening body (bolt) 60 of this embodiment and the male fastening body (bolt) 1 described above is only in the form of the columnar shaft portion.

As shape memory resin, a well-known thing can be used.
Here, the shape memory resin referred to here is a shape having a diameter of 5.3 mm and a height of 7.8 mm which is formed by injection molding, and then is measured under a temperature condition lower than the loss tangent peak temperature of the resin composition. After being compressed to ½ and allowed to stand for a predetermined time, it is restored to a height of 90% or more of the height during molding by heating to a temperature higher than the loss tangent peak temperature of the resin composition. It shows things.
A viscoelastic body such as a polymer exhibits intermediate properties between an ideal elastic body and an ideal viscous body. When stress is applied to the polymer in the form of a sine wave, a phase difference δ occurs in the range of 0 ° to 90 ° between the stress waveform and the strain waveform. It should be noted that the ideal elastic body has a phase difference of zero, and the ideal viscous body is detected with a delay of 90 ° (π / 2) with respect to the stress.
The relationship between the viscoelastic stress and strain can be expressed as a vector on a complex plane shown in FIG.
E * is called complex elastic modulus and corresponds to the amplitude ratio between stress and strain. δ is a phase difference.
E ′ is called storage elastic modulus and reflects the characteristic of the sample as elasticity, and is a measure of energy at which the stress applied per cycle is stored and completely recovered.
E ″ is called a loss elastic modulus and reflects the characteristic of the sample as a viscosity, and is a measure of the energy at which stress applied per cycle is lost (consumed) as heat.
tanδ is called a loss tangent and is expressed as a ratio of storage elastic modulus to loss elastic modulus. In other words, it indicates the ratio of energy lost as heat to given mechanical energy, and expresses vibration absorption as one of the viscoelastic properties.
In other words, the loss tangent value obtained in the dynamic viscoelasticity measurement is the ratio of the loss elastic modulus obtained as a response to the storage elastic modulus when stress and strain in the tensile direction repeated sinusoidally to the test material. Expressed as a value. The loss tangent indicates the state of molecular binding in the test material, and indicates that the molecular binding becomes looser as the loss tangent value increases. In addition, although the value obtained by this dynamic viscoelasticity changes with a measuring method or conditions, in this invention, a 10x50x2-4mm plate-shaped test piece is measured temperature range: Room temperature-200 degreeC, The solid viscoelasticity is measured under the conditions of a set rate of temperature rise: 2 ° C./min and a measurement frequency: 1 Hz.
As the shape memory polymer, it is preferable to use an amorphous shape memory polymer, a low crystalline shape memory polymer, or a semicrystalline shape memory polymer. By using such a shape memory polymer having low crystallinity, the shape recovery is good. The amorphous shape memory polymer, the low crystalline shape memory polymer and the semicrystalline shape memory polymer are preferably resins having a latent heat accompanying crystal melting according to JISK7122 of 2.1 J / g or less.
Shape memory polymers include polyester, styrene resin, polycarbonate, polythioether, polyimide, polyphenylene ether, polyimide, polyetherimide, polyarylate, polysulfone, polyethersulfone, wholly aromatic polyamide, polyamideimide, olefin resin Polyphenylene sulfide is used.
As the polyester, amorphous polyethylene terephthalate, semicrystalline polyethylene naphthalate or low crystalline polyethylene naphthalate is suitable. The loss tangent peak temperature of amorphous polyethylene terephthalate is about 70 ° C. Semicrystalline polyethylene naphthalate has a loss tangent peak temperature about 40 ° C. higher than amorphous polyethylene terephthalate, and the loss tangent peak temperature is about 110 ° C. And both have compatibility.
In addition, the shape memory resin is compatible with the first shape memory polymer having the first loss tangent peak temperature that becomes the peak of the loss tangent value in the dynamic viscoelasticity measurement, and the first shape memory polymer. And a peak of the loss tangent value in the dynamic viscoelasticity measurement is composed of a mixture with a second shape memory polymer having a second loss tangent peak temperature higher than the first loss tangent peak temperature. It is preferable.
The first shape memory polymer and the second shape memory polymer are selected from thermoplastic resins that are compatible with each other. The second shape memory polymer having a loss tangent peak temperature higher than the first loss tangent peak temperature is selected. The loss tangent peak temperature of the first shape memory polymer is preferably about 50 to 160 ° C., and the loss tangent peak temperature of the second shape memory polymer is preferably about 90 to 220 ° C. And it is preferable that the difference of the loss tangent peak temperature of a 1st shape memory polymer and a 2nd shape memory polymer is about 30-100 degreeC. Moreover, it is preferable that the loss tangent peak temperature of the shape memory resin composition of this invention is about 70-200 degreeC.
The blending amounts (blending ratio) of the first shape memory polymer and the second shape memory polymer in the shape memory resin composition are the target loss tangent peak temperature and the first shape memory property of the shape memory resin composition. The first shape memory polymer and the second shape memory polymer in the shape memory resin composition are determined by the loss tangent peak temperature of the polymer and the second shape memory polymer and are not unambiguous. Is preferably about 10: 2 to 2:10, more preferably 10: 4 to 4:10.
And the thermoplastic resin which has compatibility is selected for the 1st shape memory polymer and the 2nd shape memory polymer. For this reason, it is preferable that the first shape memory polymer and the second shape memory polymer are selected from the above-mentioned shape memory polymers.
The combination of the first shape memory polymer and the second shape memory polymer in the shape memory resin composition of the present invention is a combination of the first polyester and the second polyester different from the first polyester. Is preferred. In particular, the combination of the first shape memory polymer and the second shape memory polymer is preferably amorphous polyethylene terephthalate and semicrystalline polyethylene naphthalate. The shape memory resin composition by this combination has a high shape restoring property and a narrow glass transition temperature region.
And the process of carrying out the plastic deformation of the shaft part of a male fastening body base material is performed using the shaping | molding die as shown in FIG. This step is performed under the condition of the loss tangent peak temperature of the shape memory resin constituting the fastening body base material.
The molding die 70 is constituted by molding dies 73, 74, 75, 76, 77, 78 divided into six parts. Specifically, the molding die 70 is disposed between the screw portion forming dies 73, 74, and 75 whose inner surfaces are male screw forming surfaces, and the screw portion forming dies 73, 74, and 75, and is formed with screws. The recess forming dies 76, 77, and 78 have no surface. The inner surface of the screw
Then, as shown in FIG. 29, the
When producing a resin screw, it is common to produce a blank (no thread) by injection molding and perform rolling. However, when rolling, the temperature of the blank itself rises and the thread is not standing well. If the standing of the screw thread is poor, the hooking with the nut will be reduced and the pull-out strength will be lowered. For this reason, the blank diameter is made as large as possible to increase the catch height. However, if the blank diameter is too large, it may be difficult to interfere with the nut after recovery.
In the above-described method using press or caulking, heat generation during screw processing can be suppressed, and the standing of the thread is better than general rolling.
