Description
The present invention relates to a display device in which a plurality of light emitting elements capable of emitting light by energizing a drive current are arranged, and a display method using the display device.
According to such a configuration, since the lighting timings of all the LEDs do not become simultaneous, it is possible to shift the generation timing of radiation noise that occurs when the LED current fluctuates. That is, it is possible to disperse the influence of radiation noise over time and reduce the adverse effects of the radiation noise.
However, since LEDs have different luminance values for each color, control for ensuring a luminance balance for each color by changing the lighting time of the LED for each color has been performed. That is, in order to express an appropriate color by mixing colors in a balanced manner, the lighting timing for each color is inevitably shifted, so that the above-described technique need not be applied. Accordingly, if the above-described technique is applied, there is a problem that wiring increases and unnecessary costs are generated. Further, in the above-described technique, since the control unit for shifting the lighting timing is for each color or block unit, there is a problem that the radiation noise can be dispersed only to about a few minutes of the total number of LEDs.
The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a display device and a display method capable of reducing radiation noise with a simple configuration.

In the figure, a
FIG. 2 is a block diagram showing the internal configuration of the
In order to display characters and symbols on the

(2) Operation of display device:
FIG. 3 shows an internal configuration of the
The constant
The
The display data is a signal in which each bit is expressed by “0” or “1”, and each bit corresponds to each
On the other hand, the
Between the fixed resistor Ra and the fixed resistor R1 in the
FIG. 4 schematically shows the operation of the
At the output terminals O1, O2, and O3 whose output level is “1”, the base current can be supplied to the base terminals of the corresponding transistors Tr1, Tr2, and Tr3, and the resistance between the collector and the emitter is minimized. Can do. Then, the adjustment terminal B is short-circuited and grounded by the collector-emitter of the transistors Tr1, Tr2 and Tr3 supplied with the base current in FIG. That is, the resistance value until the adjustment terminal B is grounded can be changed by the noise reduction signal input to the input terminals I1 and I2.
Specifically, when the input levels of the input terminals I1 and I2 are both “1”, only the output terminal O1 is “1”, and the adjustment terminal B is grounded only through the fixed resistor Ra. Become. When the input terminal I1 is “0” and the input terminal I2 is “1”, only the output terminal O2 is “1”, and the adjustment terminal B is grounded through the fixed resistor Ra and the fixed resistor R1. It becomes. Further, when the input terminal I1 is “1” and the input terminal I2 is “0”, only the output terminal O3 is “1”, and the adjustment terminal B is connected to the fixed resistor Ra and the fixed resistors R1 and R2. Will be grounded. Further, when the input levels of the input terminals I1 and I2 are both “0”, the output terminals O1, O2 and O3 are all “0”, and the adjustment terminal B has the fixed resistance Ra and the fixed resistances R1 and R2. , 3 will be grounded. That is, the resistance value until the adjustment terminal B is grounded can be changed in four stages by the noise reduction signal input to the input terminals I1 and I2. Therefore, the drive currents of the
FIG. 5 shows a timing chart of signals input from the
That is, when the enable signal is a lighting signal that switches from “0” to “1”, the drive current starts to be supplied to the
On the other hand, when the enable signal is set to “0” and the
In this way, the
(3) Modification:
In the above-described embodiment, the number of the fixed resistors R1, R2, R3 that are passed through until the adjustment terminal B is grounded in the

By doing so, it is possible to vary the resistance value of the resistance circuit through which the adjustment terminal B is grounded. Therefore, the drive current of the
