Description
多くの医療処置は、脳組織への深いアクセスが要求される。例えば、腫瘍、アルツハイマー病、パーキンソン病、振せん、及びてんかん等の神経変性疾患、及び脳卒中等の脳の虚血を、切除手術又は修復手術等の手順で、外科的に治療することが知られている。腫瘍の切除及び適除手術は、更なる補助療法のために病変を縮小する、又は、頭蓋の主要部から生じる圧力上昇を軽減する神経外科手術の実施に際して一般的である。腫瘍は、吸引、切除術での切除又は超音波外科吸引デバイスでの治療と同様にして、バイポーラ及びレーザ等の切除治療を使用して除去される。腫瘍は、通常、脳の表面の下深くにあり、時に正常な脳組織を移動させて、有意な局所化技術を用いて標的病変に到達する。
本発明の一の実施例では、医療用デバイスは、例えば、組織を通って導入されることができる細長部材を具える。好ましくは、この細長部材は、組織の損傷を最小にするために、先が丸くなっている。更に、このデバイスは、更に細長部材の遠位端を取り囲む第1の半径方向に拡張可能な本体(例えば、膨張バルーン)と、第1の本体を取り囲むステントとを具える。一の実施例では、この細長部材と第1の本体は、デバイスから取り外すことが可能であり、これによって、ステント内にワーキングチャンネルを作って、医療器具或いは薬剤をステントを介して配置することができる。この場合、好ましくは、ステントは可塑的に変形可能であり、細長部材を取り外すことによってできたワーキングチャンネルを維持する。
図1を参照すると、本発明の一の実施例によって構成した医療用デバイス100が示されている。このデバイスの最も簡単な形状では、デバイス100が、遠位端101及び近位端103を有する細長ガイド部材102と、前記ガイド部材102の遠位端101に取り付けられた組織チャンネル形成アッセンブリ104と、前記ガイド部材102の近位端103に取り付けられたハンドル106とを具える。前記ハンドル106は、医師がデバイス100をより容易に操作できるように、人間工学的に設計することが可能であり、注入ポート107を選択的に用いる。2つのエミッタ140は、互いに分離されており、医療用デバイス100上に装着されてナビゲーションシステム(図示せず)による案内を可能としている。
ポリ(L−ラクチド)(PLLA)、ポリ(D,L−ラクチド)(PLA)、ポリグリコリド(PGA)、ポリ(L−ラクチド−コ−D,L−ラクチド)(PLLA/PLA)、ポリ(L−ラクチド−コ−グリコリド)(PLLA/PGA)、ポリ(グリコリド−コ−トリメチレン炭酸塩)(PGA/PTMC)、ポリエチレンオキシド(PEO)、ポリジオキサノン(PDS)、ポリカプロラクトン(PCL)、ポリヒドロキシルブチラート(PHBT)、ポリ(ホスファゼン)、ポリD,L−ラクチド−コ−カプロラクトン)(PLA/PTMC)、ポリ(グリコリド−コ−カプロラクトン)(PGA/PCL)、ポリ無水物(PAN)、ポリ(オルトエステル)、ポリ(リン酸エステル)、ポリ(アミノ酸)、ポリ(ハイドロキシブチラート)、ポリアクリラート、ポリアクリルアミド、ポリ(ヒドロキシエチルメタクリル酸)、エラスチンポリペプチド共重合体、ポリウレタン、ポリシロキサン及びその共重合体。
Claims (10)
- 医療用デバイスにおいて:
近位端及び遠位端を有する細長部材と;
前記部材の前記遠位端に接続され、挿入時の組織損傷を最小限に抑えるように構成された丸まった先端部と;
前記部材の前記遠位端を取り囲む半径方向に拡張可能な第1の本体と;
前記第1の本体を取り囲むステントと;
前記ステントを取り囲むとともに前記ステントに接着された半径方向に拡張可能な第2の本体であって、前記第1及び第2の本体が独立して拡張することができる半径方向に拡張可能な第2の本体と;を備え、
前記細長部材は、前記細長部材の移動によって前記第1の本体、前記第2の本体、及び前記ステントが周りに配置された状態で標的部位に配置可能に構成されており、
前記ステントは、前記第1の本体の半径方向の拡張が前記ステントを前記第1の本体と前記第2の本体との間で半径方向に拡張するように構成されている、
ことを特徴とする医療用デバイス。 - 請求項1記載のデバイスにおいて、前記第1及び第2の本体がバルーンであることを特徴とするデバイス。
- 請求項1記載のデバイスにおいて、前記第1及び第2の本体が伸縮自在に拡張することを特徴とするデバイス。
- 請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載のデバイスにおいて、前記ステントが塑性的に拡張することを特徴とするデバイス。
- 請求項1記載のデバイスにおいて、前記第2の本体が環状バルーンであることを特徴とするデバイス。
- 請求項1乃至5のいずれかに記載のデバイスにおいて、前記第2の本体を取り囲む止血コーティングを更に具えることを特徴とするデバイス。
- 請求項1乃至6のいずれかに記載のデバイスにおいて、前記第1及び第2の本体と前記ステントが前記部材の大部分の長さに沿って拡張することを特徴とするデバイス。
- 請求項1乃至7のいずれかに記載のデバイスにおいて、前記細長部材及び前記第1の本体が前記デバイスから取り外し可能であることを特徴とするデバイス。
- 請求項1乃至8のいずれかに記載のデバイスにおいて、前記細長部材が軸方向に剛性であることを特徴とするデバイス。
- 請求項1乃至9のいずれかに記載のデバイスにおいて、ナビゲーション信号を送るように構成されたエミッタを更に具えることを特徴とするデバイス。
