Description
コーニング社製の15Ω/cm2(1200Å)ITOガラス基板を50mm×50mm×0.7mmのサイズに切って、それぞれの片をイソプロピルアルコールおよび脱イオン水の中で5分間超音波洗浄した後、30分間UV/オゾン洗浄してアノードを形成した。
電荷発生層の厚さを50Åにしたことを除いては、実施例1と同様にして、有機電界発光表示素子を製造した。
電荷発生層の厚さを80Åにしたことを除いては、実施例1と同様にして、有機電界発光表示素子を製造した。
コーニング社製の15Ω/cm2(1200Å)ITOガラス基板を、50mm×50mm×0.7mmのサイズに切って、それぞれの片をイソプロピルアルコールおよび脱イオン水の中で5分間超音波洗浄した後、30分間UV/オゾン洗浄してアノードを形成した。
Claims (8)
- 第1電極と、
第2電極と、
前記第1電極と前記第2電極との間に配置された発光層と、
前記第1電極と前記発光層との間に配置された、銅フタロシアニンまたはスターバースト型アミン類から形成される正孔注入層と、
前記第1電極と前記発光層との間に配置された正孔輸送層と、
前記正孔注入層と前記正孔輸送層との間に配置された電荷発生層と、
を備え、
前記電荷発生層は、下記化学式(1)で表される化合物から形成され、厚さが20〜80Åであることを特徴とする、有機電界発光表示素子;
- 前記電荷発生層のLUMO(最低非占有分子軌道)エネルギーレベルと、正孔注入層物質のHOMO(最高占有分子軌道)エネルギーレベルとの差が、−2〜+2eVの範囲にあるエネルギー準位を有する物質を使用することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の有機電界発光表示素子。
- 前記電荷発生層は、各画素に共通した層として形成されることを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の有機電界発光表示素子。
- 前記発光層と前記第2電極との間に、正孔阻止層、電子輸送層、および電子注入層からなる群より選択される少なくとも1つの層をさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の有機電界発光表示素子。
- 第1電極と第2電極との間に発光層を有する有機電界発光表示素子の製造方法であって、
前記第1電極の上部に正孔注入層を積層する工程と、
前記正孔注入層の上部に電荷発生層を積層する工程と、
前記電荷発生層の上部に正孔輸送層を積層する工程と、
を含み、前記電荷発生層は、下記化学式(1)で表される化合物から形成され、厚さが20〜80Åであることを特徴とする、有機電界発光表示素子の製造方法;
- 前記電荷発生層のLUMOエネルギーレベルと、正孔注入層物質のHOMOエネルギーレベルとの差が、−2〜+2eV範囲内のエネルギー準位を有する物質を使用することを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の有機電界発光表示素子の製造方法。

- 前記発光層と前記第2電極との間に、正孔阻止層、電子輸送層、および電子注入層からなる群より選択される少なくとも1つの層をさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項5〜7のいずれか1項に記載の有機電界発光表示素子の製造方法。
