Claims (4)
- 燃料電池に空気を圧縮して供給する燃料電池用過給機であって、ケーシング内に設けられた遠心圧縮機と、圧縮機の回転軸を支持する軸受装置とを備えており、軸受装置は、回転軸に同心状に設けられて回転軸を径方向から支持する1対のラジアルフォイル軸受と、回転軸に設けられたフランジ部に軸方向から対向させられて回転軸を軸方向から支持するアキシアル磁気軸受とを備えており、ラジアルフォイル軸受は、回転軸に径方向から対向する軸受面を持つ可撓性の軸受フォイルと、軸受フォイルを支持する弾性体と、軸受フォイルおよび弾性体を回転軸との間に保持する外輪とを備えており、アキシアル磁気軸受は、電磁石ヨークおよび電磁石コイルからなる1対のアキシアル電磁石間に作用する力を制御するものであり、ラジアルフォイル軸受の外輪が電磁石ヨークを兼ねさせられ、ラジアルフォイル軸受の外輪に設けられた環状の凹所に電磁石コイルが嵌め入れられることにより、アキシアル磁気軸受の各アキシアル電磁石がラジアルフォイル軸受に一体化されており、回転軸に設けられたフランジ部のアキシアル電磁石対向面に、アキシアル電磁石からフランジ部に作用する吸引力がラジアル方向吸引力を有しているようにするラジアル方向吸引力発生部が形成されていることを特徴とする燃料電池用過給機。
- ラジアル方向吸引力発生部は、フランジ部のアキシアル磁石対向面に環状溝が設けられることによって形成されている請求項1の燃料電池用過給機。
- 環状溝は、アキシアル電磁石と同心であり、環状溝とアキシアル電磁石とは、軸方向にちょうど対向する位置から径方向にずらされている請求項2の燃料電池用過給機。
- ラジアル方向吸引力発生部は、フランジ部のアキシアル磁石対向面がテーパ面とされることによって形成されている請求項1の燃料電池用過給機。
