Description
The present invention relates to a human body detection device and a human body detection method for detecting whether or not a person such as a child exists in a blind spot area of a driver before and after a vehicle such as a passenger car.
In addition, the detection target is specialized for a warm body such as a person, and is mounted at an attachment angle overlooking the road surface at the upper part of the rear end side of the vehicle, and a warm body existing in a blind spot behind the vehicle is detected using the road surface behind the vehicle as a background. 1 and an infrared sensor installed at a horizontal or slightly upward mounting angle so that the road surface does not enter the detection range in the vicinity of the lower bumper at the rear end side of the vehicle. A second infrared sensor for detecting the background as a background, selectively switching the output from each infrared sensor, processing the output from the selected infrared sensor and displaying it on the display as an image signal, There has been proposed a configuration (see, for example, Patent Document 2) in which when a warm body exists in the surroundings, that fact is detected and displayed as an image.
In the method using the ultrasonic vibrator according to Patent Document 1, since the reflected wave of the ultrasonic wave irradiated around the vehicle is received and the presence of an obstacle or a human body is detected, it is necessary to irradiate the ultrasonic wave over a wide range. Therefore, a large number of ultrasonic transducers must be arranged. In addition, it is impossible to distinguish whether the detected object is an obstacle such as an article or a human body. Furthermore, since the ultrasonic wave is attenuated in the air, the detection sensitivity is low when the ultrasonic transducer is separated from the object to be detected. Therefore, in order to bring the ultrasonic transducer close to the detected object to some extent, it is necessary to move the vehicle closer to the detected object. There is a risk that.

An embodiment of the human body detection device of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is a conceptual diagram showing a basic configuration of a human body detection device according to the present invention. In the following description, a case where a person such as a child is present in the driver's blind spot area behind the vehicle will be described as an example, but the configuration is essentially the same even when a person is present in the driver's blind spot area in front of the vehicle. is there.

FIG. 3 is a conceptual diagram of the monitoring positions by the

When the
When the
As described above, when the human
Next, the case where the
In FIG. 1, when the
When the
If the
When the
