Description
Claims (21)
- 湾曲した縦軸を協同して定義する、横方向に間隔を空け、縦方向に延在する、一対のアーチ形サイド部材と、
内部容積内を協同して定義するために、前記サイド部材から、その間に延在する複数の、反対方向に延在するアーチ形内側および外側リブ要素と、
前記アーチ形内側および外側リブ要素間に縦方向に配置され、前記内部容積に少なくとも部分的に配置される少なくとも1つのより低いリブ要素とを有し、
その総表面領域の少なくとも20%が前記内部容積内で定義される鞍形ランダム充填要素。 - 前記内側リブ要素と前記外側リブ要素との総数が、3〜20の範囲である請求項1に記載の充填要素。
- 前記より低いリブ要素を複数含む請求項1または2に記載の充填要素。
- さらに、前記より低いリブ要素は、一方のアーチ形サイド部材からもう一方のアーチ形サイド部材へ延びて、前記一対のアーチ形サイド部材を繋いでおり、
前記より低いリブ要素の少なくとも1つを切断することで創造される、前記一方のアーチ形サイド部材から延びる第1のリブセグメントと、前記もう一方のアーチ形サイド部材から延びる第2のリブセグメントとを含む請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の充填要素。 - 前記第1および第2のリブセグメントが、半径的に反対方向に曲げられている請求項4に記載の充填要素。
- 前記第1および第2のリブセグメントが、同一半径方向に曲げられている請求項4に記載の充填要素。
- 前記充填要素は、前記一対のアーチ形サイド部材と前記内側リブ要素及び前記外側リブ要素とをその表面の一部に含む略円環形状の一部を形成し、
前記充填要素は、前記略円環形状全体の容積の5〜50%を表す請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の充填要素。 - 前記充填要素は、前記一対のアーチ形サイド部材と前記内側リブ要素及び前記外側リブ要素とをその表面の一部に含む略円環形状の一部を形成し、
前記充填要素は、前記略円環形状全体の容積の10〜25%を表す請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の充填要素。 - 前記外側および内側リブ要素が、前記縦軸から交互にずらされている請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載の充填要素。
- 前記外側リブ要素の少なくとも1つの幅が、前記内側リブ要素の少なくとも1つの幅と、同じか、または、それより大きい、請求項1〜9のいずれかに記載の充填要素。
- 前記外側リブ要素の幅が、5mmより小さく、かつ/または前記内側リブ要素の幅が、1mmより大きい請求項1〜10のいずれかに記載の充填要素。
- 前記より低いリブ要素の少なくとも1つが、少なくとも部分的に連続である請求項1〜11のいずれかに記載の充填要素。
- 少なくとも前記充填要素の前記総表面領域の一部が、テクスチャ加工されている請求項1〜12のいずれかに記載の充填要素。
- 前記内側および外側リブ要素の1つ以上が、弓のように撓んだ形の断面を有する請求項1〜13のいずれかに記載の充填要素。
- 前記充填要素が、金属で形成されている請求項1〜14のいずれかに記載の充填要素。
- 前記充填要素が、プラスチックで形成されている請求項1〜14のいずれかに記載の充填要素。
- 前記サイド部材の一方または両方から、前記内側および外側リブ要素、ならびに前記より低いリブ要素の少なくとも1つへ流動体流を向かわせるために、前記サイド部材の一方あるいは両方を配置する構造を含む請求項1〜16のいずれかに記載の充填要素。
- 前記鞍形ランダム充填要素の総表面領域の36%が、前記内部容積内で定義される、請求項1〜17のいずれかに記載の充填要素。
- 前記内側リブ要素と前記外側リブ要素との総数が5である請求項1〜18のいずれかに記載の充填要素。
- 前記内側リブ要素と前記外側リブ要素との総数が3である請求項1〜18のいずれかに記載の充填要素。
- 請求項1〜20のいずれかに記載の複数の充填要素を有する充填床を備えるカラム。
