【従来の技術】
従来から、身蓋カートンは、キャンディ−、チョコレート等の小物贈答品に使用されるパッケージとして、種々の外観形状を有するものが実用、あるいは提案されている。
例えば、特開平７−７６３３５号公報には、側壁部の水平断面が８角形であって、１７面から構成された被せ蓋を有する身蓋カートンが提案されている。そして、この身蓋カートンにおいては、身と被せ蓋それぞれが一枚のカートンブランクを折り込んで側壁部がそれぞれ二重構造になるように形成されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
一般に、身蓋カートンの外観は主として被せ蓋の形状によって決定される。これまでの身蓋カートンの外観は多角柱体をベースとして、これに若干の外面形状の変化を加え、略水平な多角面から構成されるものが多いが、いずれもカートン特有の角張った形状からの脱却が難しく、フォルム全体に固さが残り、意匠性、高級感において十分に満足されるものは少なく、従って店頭における訴求効果も不足しているという問題があった。
さらに、意匠性、高級感の点でかなり高いレベルにあっても、特開平７−７６３３５号公報にみられるように、複雑な組み立て構造を余儀なくされ、組み立て時間、材料コストがかかり過ぎるという問題があった。
本発明はかかる問題点に鑑みてなされたもので、本発明は、板紙による紙容器でありながら、構造的に主要な部分の表面に曲面を持たせることによって外観をソフトなものとし、意匠性に優れ、高級感があり、従って店頭での訴求効果に優れ、しかも、身、被せ蓋とも一枚の最小限のブランクからカートンエレクティングマシン等によって効率良く組み立てることができる身蓋カートンの提供を目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明による身蓋カートンは、水平断面が４隅にアールを有する略４角形のトレイ状の身と、該身に対して嵌合する被せ蓋とからなる身蓋カートンであって、前記被せ蓋の外面が、４角形の天板と、該天板の４辺のなかの対向する２辺に連接する２枚の矩形状の第１の斜行板と、該第１の斜行板の底辺に延設する２枚の矩形状で垂直な第１の側板と、前記天板の残る２辺に連接する２枚の矩形状の第２の斜行板と、該第２の斜行板の底辺に延設する２枚の矩形状で垂直な第２の側板と、該第２の側板の両端を延長して形成したそれぞれ隣接する前記それぞれの第１の側板と前記それぞれの第２の側板の短辺同士を繋ぐ４枚の垂直曲面と、前記それぞれの第２の斜行板の両端を延長して形成したそれぞれ隣接する前記それぞれの第１の斜行板と前記それぞれの第２の斜行板の短辺と前記それぞれの垂直曲面の上辺によって囲まれる間隙を閉鎖する４枚の円錐面状の曲面とからなる１７面体の立体形状であり、前記それぞれの円錐面状の曲面に、前記天板の４隅を基点として外向きに複数の放射状線状の弱め線を設けたことを特徴とするものである。また、前記それぞれの垂直曲面の上辺レベルが、前記垂直曲面の中央で最も低くなるよう円弧状のカットが施されていてもよい。さらに、前記身と被せ蓋は、一枚のカートンブランクよりそれぞれ組み立てられてもよい。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明を図面を用いて、更に詳しく説明する。
図１は、本発明による身蓋カートンの被せ蓋のカートンブランクの展開図である。本発明による身蓋カートンの被せ蓋のカートンブランク１０’は、図１に示すように、４角形の天板１と、その４辺のなかの対向する２辺に折線を介して連接する２枚の矩形状の第１の斜行板２と、天板１の残る２辺に折線を介して連接する矩形状の２枚の第２の斜行板３と、その両端が延長されて形成された４枚の曲面形成部ｋ１（成形後円錐面状の曲面Ｋ１を形成する。図３参照）と４枚の差し込み部８（組立時に斜行板２の裏面に差し込まれる）と、第１の斜行板２の底辺に折線を介して延設する２枚の矩形状で垂直な第１の側板４と、第２の斜行板３の底辺に折線を介して延設する２枚の垂直な第２の側板５と、その両端が延長されて形成された４枚の曲面形成部ｋ２（成形後垂直曲面Ｋ２を形成する。図３参照）とそれをさらに延長して設けられる４枚の糊代７からなるものであって、２種の曲面形成部ｋ１，ｋ２は、隣接しているが、円弧状の打ち抜き線６によって区画されている。そして、この円弧状の打ち抜き線６によって曲面形成部ｋ２の第２の側板５の長手方向と直交する方向の幅が中央部において最小となっている。これは、曲面形成部ｋ２の中央部ほど曲がりやすくすることと、組み上げた後の外観上の意匠性を高めるために行われるものである。
これら２種の曲面形成部ｋ１，ｋ２には、図１に示すような複数の放射状線状と平行線状の弱め線を設けて折り曲げ易くしている。但し、坪量の少ない板紙ではこれら弱め線を設けなくてもよい。

図２は、本発明による身蓋カートンの身のカートンブランクの展開図である。
身のカートンブランク２０’は、トレイ状の身に組み立てられるものであって、種々の実施例の提案が可能である。
図２は、一つの実施例の展開図であって、４隅にアールのある４角形の底板１１を中心にしてその４辺のなかの対向する２辺に折線を介して２枚の矩形状の側板１２を連接し、残る２辺に折線を介して２枚の矩形状の側板１３を連接し、それらの両端を延長して４枚の曲面形成部ｋ３とその先端に４枚の糊代１４を形成したものである。
曲面形成部ｋ３には、剛性の強い板紙の場合に、図２に示すような複数の平行線状の弱め線を設けるようにしてもよい。
身のカートンブランク２０’の展開図は、水平断面が４隅にアールのある４角形のトレイ状に成形されるものであればどの様なものであってもよい。ただし、一枚のカートンブランクから組立られることが望ましい。

図３は、本発明による身蓋カートンの斜視図である。図３（ａ）は身蓋カートン３０の嵌合状態、図３（ｂ）は身蓋カートン３０の開いた状態をそれぞれ示している。
本発明による身蓋カートン３０は、図１に示すカートンブランク１０’と図２に示すカートンブランク２０’からそれぞれ組み立てられた被せ蓋１０と身２０からなるものであって、その外形は略被せ蓋１０の外形によって決定される。
すなわち、本発明による身蓋カートン３０の被せ蓋１０は、４角形状の天板１と、その４辺に連接する４枚の斜行板２、３と、その底辺に延設された４枚の矩形状の垂直な側板４、５と、それらの隣接する端部同志を接続する４枚の垂直曲面Ｋ２と、隣接する斜行板３と斜行板４同志の左右両辺と垂直曲面Ｋ２の上辺によって区画される間隙を遮蔽する４枚の円錐面状の曲面Ｋ１とから構成されている。従って、被せ蓋１０は１７面体であり、本発明による身蓋カートン３０は、これに底板１１を加えて１８面体で構成されることになる。
なお、円錐面状の曲面Ｋ１と垂直曲面Ｋ２の接触部には接合はない。

本発明による身蓋カートン３０は、カートンの構造上重要な４隅が４枚の円錐面状の曲面、と４枚の垂直曲面とによって構成されるので、どの角度から目視してもこれらの曲面は目に入り、従来の角張ったカートン特有の外観が消失し、柔らかな外観を呈するものである。
また、板紙に対する自由度の高いプレプリント方式が採用できるため、被せ蓋のフォルムと印刷によるグラフィックデザインの相乗効果が発揮されてこれまでに見られない高意匠性と高級感を生み出すことができる。従って、キャンディ−、チョコレート等の小物贈答品のパッケージとして効果を発揮する。
キャンディ−、チョコレート等は一次包装されて本発明による身蓋カートン３０に箱詰めされるが、その外側をさらに熱収縮性フィルム、ストレッチフィルム等でオーバーラッピングすることがバリアー性、防塵性の付与、さらに悪戯防止の点から好ましい。

本発明による身蓋カートン３０には、アイボリー、カード、マニラ、コートボール等広範囲の板紙の使用が可能であり、坪両も２９０〜４８０ｇ／ｍ²の範囲で使用が可能である。また裏面に再生紙を使用した所謂「裏ネズ」のコートボールの使用も可能である。
また、板紙の片面もしくは両面にポリオレフィン系樹脂層を有する板紙を使用してもよい。
さらに、外面に金属光沢のあるアルミ箔や、光沢のある樹脂層等を設けることにより、一点から目視した時に、各面ごとに異なる光沢を示す多面体が得られ意匠性をさらに高めることができる。

本発明による身蓋カートンの蓋のカートンブランク１０’は、枚葉もしくは巻き取り状態の板紙に印刷してから打ち抜かれるものであって、プラスチック成形品等に対する印刷と異なるプレプリントであって、印刷の自由度は高く、オフセット、グラビア、フレキソ、シルクスクリーン等の公知のいかなる印刷手段の使用も可能である。
さらに、箔押し、エンボス、ラベリング等の印刷後の表面加工も自由に行うことができる。
また、本発明による身蓋カートン３０のカートンブランクからの成形は、従来のカートンエレクティングマシンを若干改造するだけで十分可能であり、新規に設計製造する必要はない。またシュリンクフィルム等によるオーバーラッピングも従来の装置がそのまま利用ができる。

以上説明した本発明による身蓋カートン３０の被せ蓋１０と身２０をコートボール（裏白）３１０ｇ／ｍ²（大昭和製紙（株）製）を用い、図１と図２に示した各部寸法を有するカートンブランク１０’、２０’からそれぞれ手作業で組み立て（無論、機械による組立は可能であるが）、これらを嵌合して、本発明による身蓋カートン３０の実施例サンプルを作成した。
実施例サンプルの１８面体からなる造形は、ユニークな、アトラクティブなものとなり、意匠性に優れ、高級感のあるものとなった。
なお、プレプリントにはオフセット印刷を採用し、ワニスをオーバープリントして全面に光沢を与えた。

本発明による身蓋カートン３０は、以上の実施の態様と図面の記載に限定されることなく、本発明の要旨を逸脱しない範囲内で種々の変形が可能である。
例えば、天板１、底板１１は必ずしも正方形でなくともよい。また天板１の一部に窓貼り等の加工が施され中身を見せるようにしてもよい。

【発明の効果】
本発明による身蓋カートンによれば、板紙という安く、環境負荷の少ない素材を最小限に使用して、これまでにないソフトな造形をもたせることによって意匠性を高め、高級感のあるギフト用パッケージを提供することができる。
従って、店頭での訴求化、差別化の効果のみならず、チョコレート、キャンディー等は無論、その他一般の小物ギフト用パッケージとして利用でき、ギフトの送り手、受け手双方に満足感を与えることができる。
また、機械的な組み立てが可能であり、この場合に、新規なカートンエレクティングマシンの設置の必要はなく、従来のものを若干改造するだけで済む。さらに、必要最小限度の面積のカートンブランクから組み立てることができる。
さらにまた、使用後はフラットなブランク状態に戻して減容化してから廃棄することができ、しかも焼却し易いという環境負荷の少ないパッケージを提供することができる。
