Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a gas meter mounting unit for mounting a gas meter as close to a wall surface as possible.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In the case of a gas meter, it is necessary to provide gas piping on the gas inlet side and outlet side of the meter, and a typical example of this is shown in FIGS. 15 (A) and 15 (B). In the example of FIGS. 15A and 15B, an inlet side gas pipe (steel pipe) 01 and an outlet side gas pipe (steel pipe) 02 are started up in parallel, and an
[0003]
In the case of such an installation form of the gas meter A, since the large piping space W behind the gas meter A causes the gas meter A to protrude, it may be difficult to install the gas meter A in a narrow space.
In order to avoid this problem, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 11-83589 discloses a piping example in which the inlet and outlet gas pipes are arranged not on the back of the gas meter but on the left and right sides of the gas meter (see Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 11-83589). (See FIGS. 3 and 11).
However, in this piping example, piping space is not required behind the gas meter, but piping space is required on the left and right sides of the gas meter.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In this way, in the piping on the inlet side and outlet side of the conventional gas meter, the gas piping occupies a large space. Therefore, in order to save space, the piping in the gas piping is combined with the miniaturization of the gas meter. Attempts have been made to reduce the number of parts, or to use the gas inlet plug on the inlet side and the test port member on the outlet side in combination with the elbow.
[0005]
However, in any case, the gas piping space on the entry side and the exit side is necessary, so in the pipe shafts (gas pipes, water and sewage pipes, etc.) of the housing complex, which has been increasing as an installation place in recent years. The gas meter piping space often becomes a problem. In other words, the gas meter needs to be mounted on the pipe shaft so as to face the front side and be prepared for meter reading and the like, and the direction of the gas meter is necessarily limited. In addition, the two gas pipes on the inlet side and the outlet side described so far are necessary as a minimum. Further, when a gas water heater is incorporated in the pipe shaft, the gas pipe connected to the water heater is also provided. I need it.
[0006]
For this reason, proposals for space saving are awaited for the piping on the inlet side and the outlet side of the gas meter, but the current situation is that there is no definitive one.
The present invention has been proposed in view of such a point, and is a piping which can reduce the time and labor of piping work as well as reducing the space in and out of the gas meter, particularly the space behind the gas meter. The purpose is to provide units.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, according to the first aspect of the present invention, in the gas meter mounting unit, on the left side of the unit plate, on the left side is an inlet side joint mounting port for connecting a gas meter inlet side base. Is arranged facing the front side, and on the right side of the inlet side fitting mounting port, an outlet side fitting mounting port for connecting the outlet side base of the gas meter is arranged facing the front side. An inlet-side gas pipe connection port is disposed below, and an outlet-side gas pipe connection port is disposed below the outlet-side joint mounting port. The inlet-side joint mounting port and the inlet-side gas pipe connection port The outlet side fitting mounting port and the outlet side gas pipe connection port are connected by a flattened inlet side gas introduction pipe and outlet side gas delivery pipe, respectively, and this flattened inlet side gas inlet pipe When the gas meter is installed, the outlet gas delivery pipe Located behind the gas meter, and is characterized in that it is configured so as to form as small as possible the gap between the wall the gas meter is installed and the gas meter.

【The invention's effect】
As described above, the present invention allows the gas meter to be used in comparison with the conventional gas piping example using a circular gas pipe by making the inlet and outlet gas pipes rectangular thin behind the gas meter. It can be mounted as close to the wall as possible.
As a result, this is particularly effective when the gas meter is installed in a place where there is not enough space, such as in the pipe shaft. In the unit of the present invention, since the positions (pitch) of the union nuts on the inlet side and outlet side to which the inlet and outlet caps of the gas meter are connected are determined, the gas meter may be attached as it is. Work can be done easily and in a short time.
