Description
Claims (9)
- 体の対象物のボリュームを超音波で計測するための方法であって:
超音波プローブを用いて、前記対象物の2つの直交交差する超音波画像を同時に取得する段階;
前記超音波画像において対応する対象物の境界をトレースするように自動処理器を用いる段階;
前記2つのトレースされた境界内の領域を、前記2つの直交する画像プレーンと交差するベースプレーンに平行である離間されたプレーンに数学的に分割する段階;
前記トレースされた境界との各プレーンの4つの交差点に対して楕円を適合させる段階であり、前記点のうち2つの点が、1つのトレースされた境界とのプレーンの交差によって得られ、前記点のうちその他の2点が、もう一方のトレースされた境界との前記プレーンの交差によって得られる、段階;
前記楕円の幾何学的構成及び前記楕円間の距離を使用して、ディスクのルールによって前記楕円間のボリュームを演算する段階;並びに、
前記演算されたディスクのボリュームを合計することによって、前記の規定された対象物の境界から前記対象物のボリュームの計測を行う段階;
を有することを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1に記載の方法であって:
前記の規定された対象物の境界を用いて前記対象物のグラフィックモデルを生成する段階;
を更に有する方法であり、
計測を行う段階は、前記グラフィックモデルを用いて計測を行う手順を更に有する;
ことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1に記載の方法であって:
前記画像の前記の規定された対象物の境界を用いたボリュームの計測値、及び、各々の画像における視覚的にハイライトされて規定された対象物の境界を有する前記2つの交差する画像プレーンからのリアルタイムの画像を有する表示を生成する段階;
を更に有することを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項3に記載の方法であって、ボリュームの計測値を有する表示を生成する段階は、時間の関数としての前記対象物のボリュームにおける変化の表示を生成する手順を更に有することを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項3に記載の方法であって、前記時間の関数としての前記対象物のボリュームにおける変化の表示は、グラフィック表示、数値表示、又は、グラフフィック表示及び数値表示を有することを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法であって、超音波画像を取得する段階は前記心臓の心室の超音波画像を取得する手順を有し、前記対応する対象物の境界は、前記心臓の前記心室の壁を有することを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項2に記載の方法であって、各々の画像において視覚的にハイライトされ規定された対象物の境界を有する前記2つの交差する画像プレーンからのリアルタイムの画像、前記の規定された対象物の境界を用いたリアルタイムのグラフィックモデル、及び、前記画像の前記の規定された対象物の境界を用いたボリュームの計測値を有する表示を生成する段階を更に有することを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項2に記載の方法であって、グラフィックモデルを生成する段階は、前記の規定された対象物の境界により構成されるワイヤフレーム構造に一連の曲線を適合させる手順を有することを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項8に記載の方法であって、前記曲線は楕円又は半分の楕円を有することを特徴とする方法。
