Description
本発明は、改善された安全装置を提供することを求めるものである。
有利には、閾値は、予測される又は実際の衝突の激しさ、及び/又は車両乗員の位置、及び/又は車両乗員の重量に応じてプロセッサによって求められる。
有利には、適応荷重リミッターは、事故の重度、乗員の位置、又は乗員の重量を表す1つ又はそれ以上のパラメータに応じて選択されたエネルギー吸収抵抗をも提供する。
中央制御ユニット7は、センサ8−12からの信号を用いて、事故の可能性のある重度又は実際の重度、及び乗員2の重量を求め、荷重リミッター6によって安全ベルト4に加えられることになるエネルギー吸収抵抗を選択する。中央制御ユニット7は、信号を荷重リミッター6に送信し、センサ8−12からの値に応じた特定のレベルにエネルギー吸収抵抗を設定する。この実施形態において、加速度センサ12が中央制御ユニット7に信号を送信して事故が発生していることを示すと、中央制御ユニット7は、重量センサ9からの信号及び加速度センサ12からの信号を監視する。

Claims (8)
- 安全ベルト(4)と制御信号に応答してガス抜き可能であるエアバッグ(15)とを組み込んだ自動車用の安全装置であって、
事故状況時に前記自動車の乗員が前記安全ベルト(4)に対して移動するときに、前記安全ベルトを通じて吸収されるエネルギーを計測するためのエネルギー計測装置(8)と、吸収されるエネルギーの前記計測レベルに応じて前記制御信号を生成する装置(7)とが存在することを特徴とする安全装置。 - 前記装置が比較器(18)を含み、該比較器が、前記安全ベルトによって吸収される前記計測されたエネルギーを所定の閾値と比較して、前記安全ベルト(14)によって吸収されるエネルギーが前記所定の閾値よりも大きい場合に前記エアバッグ(14)をガス抜きさせるように前記制御信号を生成することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の安全装置。
- 前記装置が、前記安全ベルト(4)用のリトラクタ(5)を組み込み、前記リトラクタは、事故状況時に乗員が前記安全ベルトに対して移動するときのエネルギーを吸収するエネルギー吸収装置(6)に関連付けられ、前記エネルギー計測装置(8)は、該エネルギー吸収装置によって吸収されるエネルギーを計測することを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の安全装置。
- 前記エネルギー吸収装置(6)が、事故状況時に選択されたエネルギー吸収抵抗をもたらす適応荷重リミッターであることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の安全装置。
- 前記適応荷重リミッター(6)が、事故の重度、乗員の位置、又は乗員の重量を表す1つ又はそれ以上のパラメータに応じて選択されたエネルギー吸収抵抗を提供することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の安全装置。
- 前記リトラクタ(4)が、安全ベルトが巻かれるスプールを組み込み、前記エネルギー吸収装置(6)が、前記リトラクタのロック後に前記スプールの回転エネルギーを吸収し、前記リトラクタが、前記リトラクタのロック後に前記安全ベルトがリトラクタから繰り出されるときに前記スプールの回転角度を計測して吸収される前記エネルギーを計測するための角度計測装置(8)を含むことを特徴とする請求項3〜5のいずれか1項に記載の安全装置。
- 前記装置は、事故状況が発生しているか否かを判定してエアバッグを膨張させるトリガ信号を生成する衝突アルゴリズムユニット(7)を含み、前記トリガ信号がエアバッグに送られた後、前記エアバッグが完全に膨張するまでの所定の時間を計時し、前記エアバッグが完全に膨張したことを示すタイマ信号を生成するタイマ(20)が存在し、前記タイマ信号が発生すると制御信号が前記エアバッグ(4)に送られることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の安全装置。
- 前記装置が、車室内の前方に対する前記乗員の位置を計測し、前記制御ユニット(7)に入力される信号を生成する位置センサ(10)を組み込み、前記位置センサは、乗員が所定位置外にあるかどうかを判定するように構成されており、前記制御ユニット(7)は、乗員が所定位置外にあることを示す信号を前記位置センサが生成する場合に前記エアバッグ(4)をガス抜きさせる信号を生成するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の安全装置。
