Description
本発明は、光散乱の原理を応用して、大気中に浮遊する微粒子の数量または濃度を計測する大気中微粒子測定装置の改良に関する。 The present invention relates to an improvement in an atmospheric fine particle measuring apparatus that measures the quantity or concentration of fine particles floating in the atmosphere by applying the principle of light scattering.
空気中の微粒子の数量または濃度を計測して所定の基準以下に制御することは、IC等の半導体製造工場における品質管理や、食品工場での衛生管理等の面から重要とされており、これらの製造現場では、微粒子計数装置が多く活用されている。また、環境問題の重要性と相俟って、大気環境中の排ガス等に起因する浮遊粒子状物質や、その他の微粒子を測定評価する技術は、種々の原理によるものが研究されて実用化されている。 It is important to measure the quantity or concentration of fine particles in the air and control them below a predetermined standard from the viewpoints of quality control in semiconductor manufacturing factories such as IC and hygiene management in food factories. In many manufacturing sites, particle counters are often used. Also, coupled with the importance of environmental problems, technology for measuring and evaluating suspended particulate matter and other fine particles caused by exhaust gas in the atmospheric environment has been researched and put to practical use based on various principles. ing.
更に近年、ダニや花粉等の生物系微粒子によるアレルギー疾患の増加に伴い、室内でのハウスダストの測定や、屋外での飛散花粉粒子の測定等に関しても、種々の方法や装置が検討されている。 Furthermore, in recent years, various methods and apparatuses have been studied for measuring house dust indoors and scattered pollen particles outdoors as the allergic diseases due to biological particles such as mites and pollen increase. .
For example, in connection with the problem of Japanese cedar pollinosis, which causes severe eye and nose symptoms in early spring, research is being conducted to measure and evaluate pollen particles floating in the air. As historical pollen measurement methods, the Durham method (falling sampling method) and the Barcard method (volume suction method) have been continued for many years, but both require manual processing and counting work. The problem of accuracy difference due to the time cost and skill of the person is inevitable. In order to cope with this type of problem or in connection with a control technology for new air conditioning equipment and the like, in recent years, an automated measuring apparatus using the following optical method has been developed and put into practical use.
For example, air is introduced into a measurement container by the rising airflow of a heater, and pollen particles are measured by irradiating polarized light to airborne particles and measuring the intensity of scattered light from the particles and the degree of depolarization of the scattered light. Has been proposed (see Patent Document 1) that discriminates and detects the airborne particles from other airborne particles. Also, irradiate light introduced from a semiconductor laser or the like to the atmosphere sucked and introduced by a pump at a constant flow rate, and receive scattered light from fine particles such as pollen and fibrous dust both in front and side, and the kind of fine particles And a device for measuring quantities and the like (see Patent Document 2) have been proposed.
また、吸引して導入された大気に励起光を照射し、花粉から放出されたルミネッセンス(蛍光)を検出し、このルミネッセンスの強度から花粉量を定量化する装置(特許文献3参照。)や、フィルタ等を介して外気を吸引し、途中の風路で光を照射して得られる微粒子の画像を画像認識手段によって解析し、微粒子の量と種類を識別することで花粉を検知すると共に、室内へ外気を導入する空調機器等の制御を行なう装置(特許文献4参照。)が提案されている。 Further, an apparatus that irradiates the atmosphere introduced by suction with excitation light, detects luminescence (fluorescence) emitted from the pollen, and quantifies the amount of pollen from the intensity of the luminescence (see Patent Document 3). The image recognition means analyzes the image of fine particles obtained by sucking outside air through a filter, etc., and irradiating light in the air path in the middle, and detects pollen by identifying the amount and type of the fine particles. An apparatus (see Patent Document 4) for controlling an air conditioner or the like that introduces outside air into the air has been proposed.
In any of the above-mentioned devices, the air is sucked from a certain direction, and the measurement result of the fine particles is easily affected by the air flow in the surrounding environment where the measurement device is installed and the strength of the wind. there were.
For example, when this type of equipment is installed outdoors, the suction port is set in the upper vertical direction in order to draw air evenly from all sides, and a rain protection member is arranged on the top to avoid rain intrusion. However, in such a configuration, if the air around the measuring instrument is moving moderately, a certain amount of suspended particulates is drawn from the suction port and counted. When blown, the fine particles are not sufficiently drawn from the suction port, and the count value may decrease.
すなわち、装置の設置場所に横風のような強い空気の流れがあった場合には、吸込み口の方向(鉛直方向)と大気の流れの方向(水平方向)とが互いに直交しているために、多くの微粒子が吸込み口をかすめて通り過ぎてしまい、結果的に計数値は低くなってしまう場合があった。 In other words, when there is a strong air flow such as crosswind at the installation location of the device, the direction of the inlet (vertical direction) and the direction of the air flow (horizontal direction) are orthogonal to each other. Many fine particles passed through the suction port, resulting in a low count value.
現実に、花粉症を引き起こす各種の微粒子は、強風に乗って山野から人気の多い街中に飛来すると言われており、花粉のシーズン中は乾燥した日の強風の後に花粉症の症状が悪化する例も多いと言われている。しかし、前述のような従来の花粉の測定装置によっては、風の影響によって計数値が低下する可能性もあり、実際に装置を設置した環境における大気中の微粒子数(花粉濃度)を十分に反映した測定を安定的に行なうことは困難な場合があった。 In fact, the various particles that cause hay fever are said to fly from Yamano to popular cities on strong winds, and the symptoms of hay fever worsen after a strong wind on a dry day during the pollen season. It is said that there are many. However, depending on the conventional pollen measuring device as described above, the count value may decrease due to the influence of wind, and it fully reflects the number of fine particles (pollen concentration) in the atmosphere in the environment where the device is actually installed. In some cases, it was difficult to stably perform the measurement.
On the other hand, the method called the Durham method (falling sampling method) mentioned above is most popular as a simple method for evaluating pollen scattering in the atmosphere. In this method, pollen that has fallen under a predetermined disk roof is collected on a glass slide and collected using a microscope, and is visually counted using a microscope to obtain a measured value. Is said to be impossible to measure, but as a long-term experience, there is accumulation of data in many areas. Therefore, the air pollen amount automatic measurement device is also required to be able to perform measurement with a high correlation with the Durham method as necessary. In the actual field, there is a later-mentioned problem of correlation with the drop-type sampling method as well as the above-mentioned problem of measuring the number of stable particles that are not affected by strong winds, and it is possible to respond flexibly to these contradictory problems. A measuring device that can be used has not been realized.
本発明は上述の問題点に鑑みて案出されたものであり、その目的とするところは、大気中に浮遊する微粒子の数量または濃度を、例えば、周囲環境の大気の流れにかかわらず高精度で安定的に測定する、あるいは、従来の測定方式によって得られたデータに対して相関の高いデータを集めるなどの測定目的に応じて、最適な方法で測定可能とすることである。 The present invention has been devised in view of the above-mentioned problems, and the object of the present invention is to accurately measure the quantity or concentration of fine particles suspended in the atmosphere regardless of the ambient air flow. It is possible to perform measurement with an optimum method according to the measurement purpose such as stable measurement with the above or collecting data highly correlated with the data obtained by the conventional measurement method.
上記目的を達成するための本発明は、大気中に浮遊する微粒子を導入して光を照射し、前記微粒子から発生した散乱光および/または蛍光を検出して前記大気中の微粒子の数量または濃度を測定する装置において、大気を導入する大気導入部を、目的に応じて交換可能としたことを最大の特徴とする。 In order to achieve the above object, the present invention introduces fine particles suspended in the atmosphere, irradiates light, detects scattered light and / or fluorescence generated from the fine particles, and detects the quantity or concentration of fine particles in the atmosphere. The most important feature of the apparatus for measuring the temperature is that the atmosphere introduction part for introducing the atmosphere can be exchanged according to the purpose.

More specifically, in an atmospheric particulate measuring device that measures particulates suspended in the atmosphere,

That is, in the atmospheric fine particle measuring apparatus according to the present invention, the atmosphere containing fine particles is introduced from the atmospheric introduction portion, and this atmospheric air passes through the flow path means. And light is irradiated to the atmosphere which passes the said flow-path means by a light irradiation means. When light is applied to the fine particles in the atmosphere passing through the flow path means, the light is scattered by the fine particles, or the irradiated light becomes excitation light and fluorescence is generated from the fine particles. Then, the number or concentration of fine particles in the atmosphere is derived by counting scattered light or fluorescent pulses by the signal processing means.
Here, in the atmospheric fine particle measuring apparatus according to the present invention, a plurality of types of atmospheric introduction units are prepared and have a replaceable structure. Thereby, it is possible to perform the measurement with higher accuracy or more in conformity with the measurement purpose by using the air introduction part having a different structure according to the ambient environment of the apparatus and the measurement purpose. Examples of the surrounding environment here include wind strength. In addition, the purpose of the measurement is to stably measure with high accuracy regardless of the ambient air flow in the surrounding environment, or to collect data highly correlated with the data obtained by the conventional measurement method. Can do.
また、上記において流路手段の所定部位とは、前記流路手段における前記大気中の微粒子の測定点である。すなわち前記受光手段は、この所定部位において前記微粒子によって散乱された散乱光あるいは前記微粒子から発生した蛍光を受光可能に構成されている。また、上記において所定方向とは、前記所定部位において前記微粒子によって散乱された散乱光あるいは前記微粒子から発生した蛍光の方向のうち、前記受光手段によって受光可能な範囲の方向を示す。 In the above description, the predetermined part of the channel means is a measurement point of the fine particles in the atmosphere in the channel means. That is, the light receiving means is configured to receive the scattered light scattered by the fine particles or the fluorescence generated from the fine particles at the predetermined portion. In addition, in the above description, the predetermined direction indicates a direction in a range in which light can be received by the light receiving unit among scattered light scattered by the fine particles or fluorescence generated from the fine particles at the predetermined portion.
In the present invention, the light receiving means includes a first light receiving means for receiving scattered light generated in a predetermined direction by irradiating light to fine particles in the atmosphere passing through a predetermined portion of the flow path means. ,
Second light receiving means for receiving fluorescence generated in a predetermined direction by irradiating light to fine particles in the atmosphere passing through a predetermined portion of the flow path means;
Have
The intensity of the scattered light may be detected by the output of the first light receiving means, and the fluorescence wavelength component may be detected by the output of the second light receiving means.
ここで、前記流路手段の所定部位を通過する大気中の微粒子が発生した散乱光の強度は、前記微粒子が大きいほど強くなることが分かっている。また、前記流路手段の所定部位を通過する大気中の微粒子が有機物である場合に蛍光を発生することが分かっており、加えて、前記微粒子が発生した蛍光の波長分布は、前記微粒子の種類によって変化することが分かっている。 Here, it is known that the intensity of the scattered light generated by the fine particles in the atmosphere passing through the predetermined part of the flow path means becomes stronger as the fine particles are larger. Further, it has been found that when fine particles in the atmosphere passing through a predetermined part of the flow path means are organic matter, fluorescence is generated, and in addition, the wavelength distribution of the fluorescent light generated by the fine particles is the kind of the fine particles. It is known that it will change.
Therefore, according to the present invention, the size of the fine particles can be specified from the intensity of the scattered light detected by the output of the first light receiving means, and the fluorescence detected by the output of the second light receiving means can be specified. The kind of the fine particles can be specified from the components of intensity and wavelength. Here, since the distribution of the size of the fine particles varies depending on the type of the fine particles, the intensity of the scattered light detected by the output of the first light receiving means and the fluorescence detected by the output of the second light receiving means. The type of the fine particles can be identified with higher accuracy by the intensity and wavelength components.
なお、本発明における前記第1受光手段によって受光される散乱光及び、前記第2受光手段によって受光される蛍光の方向は、同じであってもよいし異なっていてもよい。換言すると、上記における散乱光に対する所定方向と、蛍光に対する所定方向とは同じ方向であっても異なる方向であってもよい。 In the present invention, the scattered light received by the first light receiving means and the direction of the fluorescence received by the second light receiving means may be the same or different. In other words, the predetermined direction for the scattered light and the predetermined direction for the fluorescence may be the same or different directions.
また、本発明においては、前記大気導入部は、風上からの大気を優先的に導入する第1大気導入部であり、
前記交換用大気導入部は、風向きに関係なく所定方向からの大気を導入する第2大気導入部であるようにしてもよい。
In the present invention, the air introduction part is a first air introduction part that preferentially introduces air from the windward,
The replacement atmosphere introduction unit may be a second atmosphere introduction unit that introduces the atmosphere from a predetermined direction regardless of the wind direction.
As described above, if the first air introduction portion that preferentially introduces the air from the windward is adopted as the air introduction portion, the fine particles in the air flowing from the windward can be efficiently obtained even in a strong wind environment. Can be introduced well. In addition, if the second atmosphere introduction section that introduces the atmosphere from a predetermined direction regardless of the wind direction is adopted as the replacement atmosphere introduction section, the Durham method (fall-type sampling method) that has been performed for many years historically. ) Also detects pollen that has fallen naturally regardless of the direction of the wind, making it possible to perform highly correlated measurements with the Durham method.
In this case, the first air introduction part is
A tubular first connecting portion connected to the flow path means and extending in the vertical direction;
A first atmosphere introduction body that is connected to the first connection portion so as to be rotatable in the horizontal direction, and that sucks air from a suction port facing substantially the horizontal direction and guides it to the first connection portion;
A rotation force generating unit that is provided on the opposite side of the suction port in the first atmosphere introduction unit main body and that imparts a rotation force to the first atmosphere introduction unit main body by receiving wind force and moving downwind You may do it.
そうすれば、前記回転力発生部が風力を受けて風下になるように前記第1大気導入部本体に回転力を付与するので、前記吸込み口が常に風上に向かって開口するように、前記第1大気導入部本体を回転させることができる。その結果、簡単な構造で、より確実に前記第1大気導入部に、風上からの大気を優先的に導入させることができる。 Then, since the rotational force generating portion receives wind force and imparts rotational force to the first air introduction main body so as to be leeward, the suction port is always opened toward the windward side. The first air introduction body can be rotated. As a result, the air from the windward can be preferentially introduced into the first atmosphere introduction part with a simple structure and more reliably.
また、上記に加えて、前記第1大気導入部は、風向を検出する風向検出手段と、風力を検出する風力検出手段と、をさらに有するようにしてもよい。 In addition to the above, the first air introduction unit may further include a wind direction detecting unit that detects the wind direction and a wind force detecting unit that detects the wind force.
そうすれば、大気中の微粒子の数量あるいは濃度の測定と共に、風向き及び風速のデータを同時に測定することができる。これにより、より付加価値の高いデータ収集が可能となる。例えば、前記風向きまたは風速のデータを用いて、同時に得られた微粒子の数量あるいは濃度の値を補正するなどして、測定地点から人の住居地域へと飛散する花粉量の予測精度を高めるために利用することができる。 Then, the wind direction and wind speed data can be measured simultaneously with the measurement of the number or concentration of fine particles in the atmosphere. This makes it possible to collect data with higher added value. For example, in order to improve the prediction accuracy of the amount of pollen scattered from a measurement point to a person's residential area by correcting the value of the number or concentration of fine particles obtained at the same time using the wind direction or wind speed data. Can be used.
また、上記においては、前記第2大気導入部は、
前記流路手段と接続されるとともに鉛直方向に伸びた管状の第2接続部と、
前記第2接続部に対して固定されるとともに略鉛直方向を向いた吸込み口から大気を吸
込み前記第2接続部に導く第2大気導入部本体と、
前記略鉛直方向を向いた吸込み口の上部に設けられ、前記略鉛直方向を向いた吸込み口への雨の侵入を抑制する雨よけ部と、を有するようにしてもよい。
In the above, the second air introduction part is
A tubular second connecting portion connected to the flow path means and extending in the vertical direction;
A second air introduction part main body that sucks air from a suction port that is fixed to the second connection part and faces in a substantially vertical direction, and guides the air to the second connection part;
It may have a rain guard part which is provided in the upper part of the suction mouth which turned to the above-mentioned perpendicular direction, and suppresses the penetration of rain into the suction mouth which turned to the above-mentioned almost perpendicular direction.
そうすれば、前記大気導入部として第2大気導入部を選択した場合に、風向きに関係なく略鉛直方向からの大気を導入することができるとともに、装置内への雨の侵入を抑制することにより装置の耐久性、信頼性を維持することができる。さらに、歴史的に長年に亘って行われてきたダーラム法(落下式採取法)も風向きに関係なく自然落下した花粉を検出しているので、ダーラム法に対して相関の高い測定を行うことができる。 Then, when the second atmosphere introduction part is selected as the atmosphere introduction part, the atmosphere from the substantially vertical direction can be introduced regardless of the wind direction, and the intrusion of rain into the apparatus can be suppressed. The durability and reliability of the device can be maintained. In addition, the Durham method (falling sampling method), which has been performed for many years historically, detects pollen that has fallen naturally regardless of the direction of the wind. it can.
また、本発明においては、前記光照射手段は、光源として半導体レーザを有するようにしてもよい。 In the present invention, the light irradiation means may include a semiconductor laser as a light source.
そうすれば、より高強度の光を大気中の微粒子に安定的に照射することができ、S/N比の高い測定をすることができる。また、花粉などの生物系微粒子は、紫外線の励起によって可視域に蛍光を発することが知られている。従って、大気中の微粒子が花粉などの生物系微粒子である場合には、光源用半導体レーザとして例えば波長が405nm近傍の青紫色半導体レーザを用いれば、容易に入手可能な光源によって、大気中の微粒子から効率よく蛍光を発生させることができる。 By doing so, it is possible to stably irradiate fine particles in the atmosphere with higher intensity light, and to perform measurement with a high S / N ratio. In addition, biological fine particles such as pollen are known to emit fluorescence in the visible range when excited by ultraviolet rays. Therefore, when the fine particles in the atmosphere are biological fine particles such as pollen, if a blue-violet semiconductor laser having a wavelength of about 405 nm is used as the semiconductor laser for the light source, the fine particles in the atmosphere can be obtained by an easily available light source. Thus, fluorescence can be generated efficiently.
また、上記において、前記第1受光手段は、前記光照射手段が照射する光の波長と同等の波長の散乱光を検出する受光素子を有し、前記第2受光手段は、前記光照射手段が照射する光の波長よりも長い可視域の波長の蛍光を検出する複数の受光素子を有するようにしてもよい。 Further, in the above, the first light receiving unit includes a light receiving element that detects scattered light having a wavelength equivalent to the wavelength of the light irradiated by the light irradiation unit, and the second light receiving unit includes the light irradiation unit. You may make it have a some light receiving element which detects the fluorescence of the wavelength of a visible region longer than the wavelength of the light to irradiate.
Here, the wavelength of light scattered by fine particles in the atmosphere of the light irradiated by the light irradiation means is basically equal to the wavelength of the light irradiated by the light irradiation means. In addition, biological fine particles in the atmosphere, such as pollen, emit fluorescence with a wavelength in the visible range longer than that when irradiated with blue-violet light. Therefore, if it does as mentioned above, the scattered light by the microparticles | fine-particles in air | atmosphere can be detected more reliably by the 1st light receiving means, and the fluorescence by the microparticles | fine-particles in air | atmosphere is detected more reliably by the 2nd light receiving means. be able to.
さらに上記においては、前記第2受光手段は、前記光照射手段が照射する光の波長よりも長い可視域の波長の蛍光を検出する受光素子を複数個有するので、前記蛍光における複数種類の波長の成分を独立に検出することができ、より正確に前記蛍光の波長分布を特定することができる。 Furthermore, in the above, since the second light receiving means has a plurality of light receiving elements for detecting fluorescence having a wavelength in the visible range longer than the wavelength of the light irradiated by the light irradiating means, The components can be detected independently, and the wavelength distribution of the fluorescence can be specified more accurately.
また、上記においては、前記第2受光手段は、
前記光照射手段が照射する光の波長よりも長い可視域の波長の蛍光を所定波長領域毎に分光する分光手段と、前記分光手段によって分光された蛍光を前記所定波長領域毎に検出する複数の受光素子を有するようにしてもよい。
In the above, the second light receiving means is
A spectroscopic unit that divides the fluorescence in the visible wavelength longer than the wavelength of the light irradiated by the light irradiating unit for each predetermined wavelength region; and a plurality of the fluorescent light that is dispersed by the spectroscopic unit for each predetermined wavelength region You may make it have a light receiving element.
そうすれば、前記微粒子から発生した蛍光を前記分光手段によって複数の波長領域に分光し、分光されたそれぞれの波長領域の蛍光を複数の受光素子で検出することができ、それぞれの受光素子の出力から、前記微粒子から発生した蛍光の波長の成分をより容易にまたはより正確に、特定することができる。 Then, the fluorescence generated from the fine particles can be dispersed into a plurality of wavelength regions by the spectroscopic means, and the separated fluorescence of each wavelength region can be detected by the plurality of light receiving elements, and the output of each light receiving element Therefore, the component of the wavelength of the fluorescence generated from the fine particles can be identified more easily or more accurately.
また、本発明においては、前記微粒子は花粉を含む生物系微粒子であるようにしてもよい。そうすれば、前記微粒子が砂粒などの無機物である場合と比較し、前記微粒子から効率的に蛍光を発生させることができ、前記微粒子の種類の特定をより高い信頼性をもって
行うことができる。
In the present invention, the fine particles may be biological fine particles containing pollen. Then, as compared with the case where the fine particles are inorganic substances such as sand particles, fluorescence can be efficiently generated from the fine particles, and the type of the fine particles can be specified with higher reliability.
なお、上記した本発明の課題を解決する手段については、可能なかぎり組み合わせて用いることができる。 The means for solving the above-described problems of the present invention can be used in combination as much as possible.
本発明にあっては、大気中に浮遊する微粒子の数量または濃度を、例えば、周囲環境の大気の流れにかかわらず高精度で安定的に測定する、あるいは、従来の測定方式によって得られたデータに対して相関の高いデータを集めるなどの測定目的に応じて、最適な方法で測定することができる。 In the present invention, the quantity or concentration of fine particles floating in the atmosphere is measured stably with high accuracy regardless of the ambient air flow in the surrounding environment, or data obtained by a conventional measurement method. Can be measured by an optimum method according to the measurement purpose such as collecting highly correlated data.
例えば、前記大気導入部として、風上からの大気を優先的に導入するものを備えた場合には、屋外の自然環境の中でも強風等の気象条件によって計測値が低下することを抑制でき、高感度かつ安定的に微粒子の計測を継続することができる。また、微粒子が低濃度の状態でも高感度の計測を可能にする。 For example, when the air introduction part is provided with a preferential introduction of the air from the windward, it is possible to suppress a decrease in the measurement value due to weather conditions such as strong winds in the outdoor natural environment. Measurement of fine particles can be continued with sensitivity and stability. In addition, high-sensitivity measurement is possible even when the concentration of fine particles is low.
これに対して、前記大気導入部として、風向きに関係なく所定方向からの大気を導入するものを備えた場合には、従来からの風向きに応答しない落下式採取法との相関データを取ることも可能になる。 On the other hand, when the air introduction part is provided with a device that introduces the air from a predetermined direction regardless of the wind direction, it is possible to obtain correlation data with a conventional falling sampling method that does not respond to the wind direction. It becomes possible.
以下に図面を参照して、この発明を実施するための最良の形態を例示的に詳しく説明する。 The best mode for carrying out the present invention will be exemplarily described in detail below with reference to the drawings.

The fine particles guided through the connecting
The fine particles corresponding to pollen that have passed through the
The fine particles that have passed between the
On the other hand, the fluorescence from the fine particles generated as light having a wavelength longer than the wavelength of the laser light passes through the filter 15 and enters the dichroic mirror (DM) 16. The

Here, the flow path means in the present embodiment is configured to include the

Next, FIG. 2 will be described. FIG. 2 is a schematic view of the air introduction part connected to the

FIG. 3 is a block diagram of the configuration of the electrical system of the atmospheric fine particle measuring apparatus according to the present embodiment. In FIG. 3, the output signals from the
That is, if each signal from the fine particles is not accompanied by a fluorescent signal, it is judged as a fine particle other than pollen, and if it is accompanied by a fluorescent signal, it can be judged as biological fine particles such as pollen. Furthermore, the type of pollen can be specified by the spectral characteristics based on each wavelength component of the detected fluorescent signal and the intensity of the detected scattered light signal. The calculation result is sent to a personal computer (PC) 30 and stored in the
Further, the

According to the embodiment as shown in FIG. 4, the
