Description
図1は本発明の一実施例のシステム構成図を示す。
図2は保護IC212のブロック構成図を示す。
遅延回路223は、4本の電池111−1〜111−4の直列電圧を検出し、検出した直列電圧に基づいて遅延時間を制御する回路であり、電池電圧検出部241、発振器242、カウンタ243から構成されている。
電池電圧検出部241は、抵抗R21〜R24、電流源251〜253、ツェナーダイオードDz11〜Dz13、コンパレータ254〜256から構成されており、4本の電池111−1〜111−4の直列電圧を検出する。
カウンタ243は、例えば、発振器242の発振パルスをコンパレータ254〜256からの信号に基づいて分周したカウントパルスをダウンカウントする。また、カウンタ243は、論理和ゲート222の出力がハイレベルに立ち上がってから遅延端子Tcdにより予め設定されたカウント値からダウンカウントを開始する。

Claims (3)
- 電源電圧の異常を検出したときに、電源に接続されたヒューズを溶断する指示を出力する保護回路において、
前記電源電圧の状態を検出し、該状態に応じて前記電源電圧の異常を検出してから前記ヒューズを溶断する指示を出力するまでの時間を制御する時間制御手段を有し、
前記時間制御手段は、
前記電源電圧を検出する電源電圧検出手段と、
前記電源電圧検出手段により検出された電源電圧に応じて前記電源電圧の異常を検出してから前記ヒューズを溶断する指示を出力するまでの時間を制御する遅延手段と、を有し、
前記遅延手段は、
前記電源電圧の異常を検出してから前記ヒューズが溶断するまでの時間が一定になるように前記電源電圧検出手段により検出された電源電圧に応じて前記電源電圧の異常を検出してから前記ヒューズを溶断する指示を出力するまでの時間を制御することを特徴とする保護回路。 - 前記電源は、電池から構成されたことを特徴とする請求項1記載の保護回路。
- 電源電圧の異常を検出したときに、電源に接続されたヒューズを溶断することにより、前記電源を保護する保護方法において、
前記電源電圧の状態を検出し、該状態に応じて前記電源電圧の異常を検出してから前記電源電圧に応じた遅延時間を与えることで前記ヒューズを溶断するまでの時間を一定に制御することを特徴とする保護方法。
