Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a distal end portion of an ultrasonic endoscope in which a balloon for sending and inflating a liquid is attached so as to surround an ultrasonic probe.
[0002]
[Prior art]
When attempting to obtain a tomographic image in a body cavity with an ultrasonic probe, a distance of at least about 2 to 3 cm is generally provided between the ultrasonic probe and the test portion due to the relationship with the depth of focus of the ultrasonic probe. It is necessary to take.
[0003]
Further, since the ultrasonic wave is easily transmitted in the liquid but not easily transmitted in the air, it is necessary to fill the space between the ultrasonic probe and the test portion with a liquid such as deaerated water having a good ultrasonic transmission property.
[0004]
Therefore, in an ultrasonic endoscope, generally, a balloon that can be expanded and contracted is provided so as to surround the distal end of an insertion portion provided with an ultrasonic probe, and a balloon inflated by injecting a liquid such as deaerated water or the like. Is used by being pressed against the subject.
[0005]
When such a balloon is inflated, it is desirable that the amount of liquid injected into the balloon is as small as possible, and that the balloon is in contact with the target site over a wide area so that an appropriate distance can be obtained between the ultrasound probe and the balloon. Is desirable.
[0006]
In view of this, there has been one in which the balloon is adhered to the back side surface in the ultrasonic wave transmitting / receiving direction at the distal end of the insertion portion so that the balloon is further expanded in the ultrasonic wave transmitting / receiving direction. However, adhering the inner surface of the balloon to the side surface at the distal end of the insertion portion is very troublesome, and the adhesive state is uncertain and tends to come off during use.
[0007]
Therefore, conventionally, as shown in FIG. 8, for example, as a balloon fixing member 90 for fixing the balloon to the distal end main body 1 which is the distal end of the insertion portion of the ultrasonic endoscope, a pair of front and rear O-fixing the balloon is tightly fixed. There is one in which the ring portions 90a and 90b are integrally connected by a curved plate-like connecting portion 90c, and the swelling of the balloon in the back direction is restricted by the connecting portion 90c (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 5-293105).
[0008]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, at the distal end portion of the conventional ultrasonic endoscope as described above, as shown in FIG. 9, the front and rear ends of the balloon 10 are bound and fixed to the distal end portion body 1 by a pair of front and rear O-ring portions 90a and 90b. Therefore, not only does the distal end main body 1 become long and the pain experienced by the patient during insertion is increased, but also the ultrasonic scanning range U cannot be directed forward due to the presence of the front O-ring 90a.
[0009]
Therefore, the present invention can surely regulate the balloon bulge to the back side in the ultrasonic scanning direction, and can ultrasonically scan the direction closer to the front of the insertion portion tip, and shorten the insertion portion tip. An object of the present invention is to provide a distal end portion of an ultrasonic endoscope that can be formed.
[0010]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, an ultrasonic probe for transmitting and receiving ultrasonic waves in a fan shape is arranged at the distal end of the insertion portion at the distal end of the insertion portion from the side toward the front. The balloon is sucked at the distal end portion of the ultrasonic endoscope in which the inflatable balloon is detachably attached so as to surround the distal end of the insertion portion, and the balloon is inflated by feeding liquid into the balloon. The mouth is tightly fixed to the distal end of the insertion portion, and the back surface in the ultrasonic scanning direction is located inside the balloon when the balloon is attached to the distal end of the insertion portion. Forming a groove in the side surface position of the distal end of the insertion portion, and a protrusion that can be elastically engaged with and disengaged from the outer surface of the balloon so that the balloon is sandwiched therebetween, and the protrusion is engaged with the groove And The balloon holding member integrally formed with the wing-like part that regulates the outward balloon expansion when it is applied to the outer surface of the balloon prevents the balloon from inflating in the back direction of the ultrasonic scanning direction. It is intended to regulate.
[0011]
In addition, the groove | channel may be formed in the side surface of the front-end | tip of an insertion part in the direction parallel to the axis line of an insertion part.
[0012]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
4 is a front view of the distal end of the insertion portion of the ultrasonic endoscope in a state where a balloon to be described later is not attached, and FIG. 5 is a partial cross-sectional side view of the insertion portion flexible tube inserted into the body. An optical observation window or the like is arranged on the slope 2 formed near the middle position of the tip body 1 connected to the tip.
[0013]
A convex-type ultrasonic probe 3 that emits and receives ultrasonic waves in a fan shape is disposed in the front half of the tip body 1. Reference numeral 4 denotes an acoustic lens portion on the surface, and a range (ultrasonic scanning range U) extending from the side to the front of the tip body 1 is ultrasonically scanned.
[0014]
A circumferential groove 5 for engaging an O-ring made of a resilient material is formed in the tip body 1 at a position between the rear end of the ultrasonic probe 3 and the inclined surface 2. One end of the balloon can be tightly fixed.
[0015]
A straight groove 6 is formed at a position corresponding to the back surface in the ultrasonic scanning direction on the side surface of the distal end main body 1 in a direction parallel to the axis of the distal end main body 1. As shown in FIG. 4, the linear groove 6 is formed in a cross-sectional shape in which the mouth width is narrower than the maximum width.
[0016]
In addition, from the water supply / drainage port 7 that opens to the side wall surface of the front half of the distal end portion main body 1, deaerated water is operated by operation from the hand side through a water supply / drainage channel that is inserted and arranged in the insertion portion flexible tube. Etc. can be sent and discharged arbitrarily.
[0017]
FIG. 6 shows a state when the balloon 10 as described above is attached to the distal end body 1, and the distal end body 1 is inserted into the balloon 10 formed in a sack shape by an elastic rubber material or the like. The O-ring 11 is engaged with the circumferential groove 5 from the outside of the balloon 10.
[0018]
In this way, when the mouth portion of the balloon 10 is tightly fixed to the circumferential groove 5 portion and the balloon 10 attached to the tip body 1 is inflated as it is, the balloon 10 is omnidirectional as shown in FIG. It swells greatly.
[0019]
FIG. 3 shows a balloon pressing member 20 for restricting the balloon 10 from expanding in the back direction of the ultrasonic scanning direction, and engages with the linear groove 6 from the outer surface side of the balloon 10 with the balloon 10 interposed therebetween. The projecting portion 20a and the wing-shaped portion 20b that extends from the projecting portion 20a to both sides in a wing shape and is applied to the outer surface of the balloon 10 are integrally formed.
[0020]
The protruding portion 20a is formed in a cross-sectional shape that fits in the straight groove 6 without rattling in the state where the balloon 10 is sandwiched between them, and elastically deforms the entrance portion where the straight groove 6 is constricted. It is made of a rubber material having elasticity, for example, medium hardness so that it can pass through.
[0021]
FIG. 2 shows a state in which the balloon pressing member 20 is engaged with the linear groove 6 and the balloon 10 is inflated. FIG. 1 shows a II cross section of the balloon pressing member 20 and the protruding portion 20a of the balloon pressing member 20 and the linear groove. 6, the protrusion 20 a of the balloon pressing member 20 is engaged with the linear groove 6 from the outer surface side of the balloon 10. In this way, the balloon pressing member 20 is securely attached to the distal end body 1.
[0022]
In a state where the protruding portion 20a is engaged with the linear groove 6, the balloon 10 which is going to spread in all directions is pressed from the outer surface side by the wing-like portion 20b spreading from the protruding portion 20a to the left and right sides. Expansion of the balloon 10 toward the back side in the sound wave scanning direction is reliably regulated.
[0023]
In this way, the balloon 10 swells freely in the ultrasonic scanning direction and hardly swells on the back side thereof, so that the balloon 10 can be swelled greatly with a small amount of water injection.
[0024]
Further, since the acoustic lens portion 4 of the ultrasonic probe 3 can be disposed so as to go around to the tip of the tip portion main body 1, the ultrasonic wave is applied to the front side of the tip portion main body 1 as illustrated in FIG. Including the scanning range U, excellent scanning ability can be obtained.
[0025]
In addition, this invention is not limited to the said Example, For example, the shape of the protrusion part 20a and the linear groove | channel 6 of the balloon pressing member 20 can take various aspects, such as curvilinear and dispersive.
[0026]
【The invention's effect】
According to the present invention, the balloon pressing member is elastically engaged from the outer surface side of the balloon to the groove formed in the side surface position of the distal end of the insertion portion corresponding to the back surface in the ultrasonic scanning direction, thereby The wing-like part of the member is in contact with the outer surface of the balloon, so that the balloon can be reliably restricted from bulging to the back side in the ultrasonic scanning direction. Therefore, excellent scanning ability can be obtained, and the tip of the insertion portion can be formed short.
