Description
供給液をまず、未処理ガラス繊維/305SS共編デミスタ材料を充填した6フィート×1/2インチのテフロン(登録商標)管を通して、約20LHSV(liquid hourly space velocity:時間当たりの液空間速度)(約600cc)で、垂直ダウンフローで通過させた。流出物はチャージしたのと同じイオウ含量を有していた。
充填物の底部2/3を98%H2SO4で湿潤させ、充填物を完全にドレーン抜きした。供給液を、充填した6フィートの管を通して約20LHSV(約1400cc)で、アップフローで通過させた。流出物は、ベッドの2/3だけ用いても、1.3(1000ccにおいて)〜1.6(1400ccにおいて)wppmの総イオウしか含有していなかった。
65ccの供給液を10ccの98%H2SO4と一緒に約1〜2分間激しく振とうさせ、相分離させた。炭化水素相は、H2SO4処理後で5.7wppmの総イオウを含有していた。
Claims (10)
- 炭化水素ストリームから有機イオウ化合物を除去する方法であって、前記炭化水素ストリームを硫酸で湿潤されたコアレッサと接触させることを含み、前記硫酸を、前記コアレッサに、前記炭化水素ストリームに対して向流方向に加えることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法であって、前記炭化水素ストリームが硫酸接触アルキル化プロセスからの流出物を含み、前記硫酸が前記炭化水素ストリーム内に含まれていることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項2に記載の方法であって、硫酸を、有機イオウ化合物の除去と同時に前記炭化水素ストリームから除去することを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法であって、前記有機イオウ化合物が酸素化有機イオウ化合物を含むことを特徴とする方法。
- アルキル化反応器からの流出物を処理する方法であって、
液体硫酸の存在下、スルホネートおよびスルホン酸エステルとともにアルキル化生成物を生成する温度と圧力の条件下で、ノルマルブテンを含むストリームを、ノルマルブタンおよびイソブタンを含むストリームと接触させ、
(a)硫酸で湿潤されたコアレッサを通して前記流出物を送る工程であって、前記硫酸を、前記コアレッサに、前記流出物に対して向流方向に加える工程と、
(b)前記コアレッサ中で同時に、
(i)前記コアレッサでの衝突によって、前記流出物から飛沫同伴した硫酸を除去する工程と、
(ii)前記硫酸中の前記スルホネートおよびスルホン酸エステルを抽出する工程と、および、
(iii)前記流出物を炭化水素流出物と硫酸流出物に分離する工程と、
(c)前記炭化水素流出物を、前記コアレッサから、イソブタンが塔頂物として除去され、かつノルマルブタンがアルキル化生成物とともに塔底物として除去される脱イソブタン化塔へ送る工程と、
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項5に記載の方法であって、
(d)前記イソブタンを前記アルキル化反応器へ再循環させる工程と、
(e)前記ノルマルブタンを前記アルキル化生成物から分離する工程と、
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - アルキル化反応器からの流出物を処理する方法であって、
液体硫酸の存在下、スルホネートおよびスルホン酸エステルとともにアルキル化生成物を生成する温度と圧力の条件下で、ノルマルブテンを含むストリームを、ノルマルブタンおよびイソブタンを含むストリームと接触させ、
(a)硫酸で湿潤されたコアレッサを通して前記流出物を送る工程と、
(b)前記硫酸を、前記コアレッサに、前記流出物に対して向流方向に加える工程と、
(c)前記コアレッサ中で同時に、
(i)前記コアレッサでの衝突によって、前記流出物から飛沫同伴した硫酸を除去する工程と、
(ii)前記硫酸中の前記スルホネートおよびスルホン酸エステルを抽出する工程と、
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項7に記載の方法であって、
(d)前記コアレッサから前記スルホネートおよびスルホン酸エステルと一緒に硫酸を重液として取り出す工程と、
(e)前記コアレッサから炭化水素液を軽液流出物として取り出す工程と、
(f)イソブタンが塔頂物として取り出され、かつノルマルブタンがアルキル化生成物と一緒に塔底物として取り出される脱イソブタン化塔へ、前記軽液流出物を、前記コアレッサから送る工程と、
(g)前記イソブタンを前記アルキル化反応器へ再循環させる工程と、
(h)前記ノルマルブタンを前記アルキル化生成物から分離する工程と、
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項7に記載の方法であって、前記コアレッサがメッシュを備えることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項9に記載の方法であって、前記コアレッサが共編ワイヤおよび高分子材料を含むことを特徴とする方法。
