Description
The present invention relates to a cooling jacket and a vehicle coolant circulation path in a vehicle motor or generator, and more particularly to a cooling jacket and a vehicle coolant circulation path in a vehicle motor or generator including a meandering flow path.
In order to cool an electric motor or the like used in a vehicle, a cooling jacket is attached to the electric motor, and a cooling medium is caused to flow inside the jacket. If there is air in the cooling medium flow path, the cooling efficiency is lowered because the thermal conductivity is low. Therefore, a device for eliminating air in the cooling medium flow path is made.
For example, in Patent Document 1, in the case of flowing a coolant through a jacket that supports a stator of an electric motor, if the inlet side and the outlet side are provided above the jacket, the air in the jacket is discharged from the outlet hole on the outlet side. There are issues that can be done, but the ones on the entrance side cannot be discharged. Then, the air of an inlet hole is discharged | emitted from an outlet hole by providing the communicating path which connects an inlet hole and an outlet hole. It is described that a plurality of weirs extending in a direction intersecting with the flow direction of the coolant are provided in the jacket, thereby causing the coolant to meander and improving the cooling performance.
Further, in
In Patent Document 3, in order to remove air from the cooling water channel of the bracket, a notch is provided on the outer side of the wall separating the water channel provided on the outer periphery of the bracket, and the air channel is not directly connected to the air channel by the gap. There is disclosed a water cooling structure for a motor that allows remaining air to reach a water channel through which an air vent hole is communicated.
As described above, in the prior art, a communication path or notch that guides air to the outlet side is used to discharge air in the flow path. These lead the air once stagnated in the flow path to the outlet side, but do not suppress the amount of the original air stagnating in the flow path.
For example, considering a case where a cooling medium circulation path having a serpentine flow path is first filled with a medium such as cooling water, the air tends to stay in a bent portion due to the structure of the serpentine flow path, and this air is pushed out to the outlet side. Requires considerable extrusion pressure and is time consuming. Even if there is a communication passage, if there is a large amount of original air, a large amount of pump is required to push a large amount of air to the outlet side through the communication passage. It takes a long time.
It is an object of the present invention to provide a cooling jacket and a vehicle coolant circulation path in a vehicle motor or generator that can reduce the amount of the original gas remaining in the meandering flow channel. Another object of the present invention is to provide a cooling jacket and a vehicle cooling medium circulation path in a motor or generator for a vehicle that can shorten the time for filling the cooling medium circulation path with the cooling medium. The following means contribute to at least one of these purposes.
The cooling jacket in the vehicle motor or generator according to the present invention is a cooling jacket provided on a side surface of the vehicle motor or generator, the cooling medium inlet to which the cooling medium is supplied, and the cooling medium being carried out. A cooling medium outlet, and a meandering flow path provided between the cooling medium inlet and the cooling medium outlet, each including a plurality of ascending sections and descending sections where the cooling medium ascends along the side surface of the motor or generator. An upper curved portion that is a flow passage that moves from the upper portion of the meandering channel to the lower portion, and a communication passage that communicates with the upstream ascending portion adjacent to the upper curved portion. The volume is smaller than the volume of the lower bent portion which is a flow path moving from the lower portion to the upper portion of the meandering flow path.
Further, in the cooling jacket of the vehicle electric motor or generator according to the present invention, the upper bending width which is the width in the height direction of the upper curved portion of the meandering channel is along the height direction of the lower bent portion of the meandering channel. It is preferably narrower than the downward bending width.
Moreover, it is preferable that a communicating path has a channel cross-sectional area of 0.5% or more and 5% or less of a channel cross-sectional area of the meandering channel.
The cooling jacket includes a jacket main body having a meandering depression that forms a meandering flow path, and a cover that is fitted to the jacket main body, and the communication path is at least one of the jacket main body and the cover at the joint between the jacket main body and the cover. It is preferable that it is a hollow provided in 1 or.
Further, in the vehicle coolant circulation path according to the present invention, a coolant injection portion provided at a high position, a cooling jacket provided on a side surface of a motor or generator for a vehicle provided at a low position, a circulation pump, Are connected to each other to form a circulation path. The cooling jacket includes a cooling medium inlet to which the cooling medium is supplied from the cooling medium injection part side, and a cooling medium to the cooling medium injection part side. A cooling medium outlet to be carried out, and a meandering flow that is provided between the cooling medium inlet and the cooling medium outlet and includes a plurality of ascending parts and descending parts that descend along the side surface of the motor or generator. An upper curved portion that is a flow passage that moves from the upper portion of the meandering flow path to the lower passage portion, and a communication passage that communicates with the upstream ascending portion that is adjacent to the upper curved portion. The volume of the part is meandering Characterized in that less than the volume of the lower bent portion is a flow path that passes the ascending portion of the descending portion of the road.
With the above configuration, the cooling jacket provided on the side surface of the motor or generator for the vehicle has a meandering flow path including a plurality of ascending portions and a descending portion where the cooling medium ascends. It includes a communication path that connects the upper curved portion and the downstream upstream portion adjacent thereto, and the volume of the upper curved portion in the meandering flow path is smaller than the volume of the lower curved portion. Generally, when filling the meandering flow path with the cooling medium from the cooling medium injection part above the cooling jacket, even if there is a meandering part in the middle of the cooling medium that is liquid, the highest position is higher than the medium injection part. As long as it is downward, it flows downward from above, but gas such as air tends to stay in the upward bend. In the above configuration, the communication path connected to the downstream side is provided in the upper bend portion, and this stagnant gas can be easily released, and the volume of the upper bend portion is made smaller than the volume of the lower bend portion. The amount of remaining air can be relatively reduced. Therefore, it is possible to reduce the amount of the original gas that stays in the meandering flow path. Further, since the amount of gas that stays in the meandering channel and must be pushed out decreases, the time for filling the cooling medium can be shortened.
Further, the upper bending width, which is the width in the height direction of the upper bent portion of the meandering channel, is made narrower than the lower bent width along the height direction of the lower bent portion. This makes it possible to reduce the amount of the original gas that stays in the meandering flow path.
Further, since the communication path has a flow path cross-sectional area of 0.5% or more and 5% or less of the flow path cross-sectional area of the meandering flow path, most of the cooling medium is not the communication path but the meandering flow path, that is, It flows through the flow path for cooling the motor or generator for the vehicle. Therefore, even if the communication path is provided, the change in the amount of the cooling medium flowing through the original meandering flow path is small, and the deterioration of the cooling performance due to this can be reduced.
Further, since the communication path is formed by a depression at the joint between the jacket body and the cover, the communication path can be provided by simple processing or molding.
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. Hereinafter, a so-called FR type (front engine rear drive) hybrid vehicle having an engine, a rear wheel motor and a generator will be described as a vehicle provided with a cooling medium circulation path. This is an example for explanation, and other types and types of vehicles may be used as long as the vehicle has an electric motor or a generator. For example, it may be FF type (front engine front drive), may be a vehicle equipped with a so-called electric / generator that performs the functions of the electric motor and the generator by one unit, and without further mounting the engine, A vehicle having an electric motor or the like may be used.
In addition, since the FR hybrid vehicle will be described, the rear wheel motor and the generator are configured to lift and place the floor under the interior of the vehicle, specifically, the floor between the driver seat and the passenger seat. However, of course, other arrangement structures may be used. For example, the electric motor and the generator may be disposed inside the hood that does not affect the interior of the vehicle.
In the following description, the cooling jacket is described as being provided on the side surface of the electric motor. However, if the meandering channel has a plurality of ascending parts and descending parts, the attachment target may be a generator. . Moreover, the shape of the meandering flow path in the cooling jacket is an example, and any shape having a plurality of upward portions and a plurality of downward portions may be used. Further, the specific shape can be specifically set according to the outer shape of the electric motor or the generator, the required cooling performance, the arrangement space given to the cooling jacket, and the like.
FIG. 1 is a diagram showing a configuration of a vehicle
The vehicle cooling
The cooling
When the cooling
The
The
In the vehicle
The cooling
Instead of this, the jacket
The cooling
Further, a cooling
The meandering
The cooling medium flow path formed by the meandering
The
The
Hereinafter, second ascending part-second ascending part-second ascending part-second ascending part-third ascending part-third ascending part-
In FIG. 3, the cooling medium flow path inside the cooling
Further, the width and depth of the meandering
In addition, the
The flow path cross-sectional area of the
FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional view of the cooling
The operation of the vehicle
As described above, when the cooling
In the cooling
When the cooling
Here, as described above, the meandering
Similarly, the cooling
Here again, the
In this way, the cooling
Here, when the
