BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a gas heat pump type air conditioner that drives a refrigerant compressor by a gas engine and uses the exhaust gas of the gas engine as a heating source for liquid refrigerant during heating operation, and more particularly, a plurality of indoor units. It is related with the multi-type gas heat pump type air conditioner which can be selectively switched from all-cooling operation, all-number heating operation, and simultaneous cooling and heating operation.
[0002]
[Prior art]
An air conditioner that performs an air conditioning operation such as air conditioning using a heat pump includes a refrigerant circuit including elements such as an indoor heat exchanger, a compressor, an outdoor heat exchanger, and a throttle mechanism. Air conditioning in the room is realized by exchanging heat with indoor air (hereinafter referred to as “indoor air”) and outdoor air in the indoor heat exchanger and the outdoor heat exchanger while the refrigerant goes around the circuit. . In addition, the refrigerant circuit may be provided with a refrigerant heater for directly heating the refrigerant itself, instead of relying solely on the reception of the heat of the refrigerant by the outdoor heat exchanger (during heating operation). .
[0003]
Incidentally, in recent years, a power source for a compressor provided in the above-described refrigerant circuit has been developed that uses a gas engine instead of a normally used electric motor. An air conditioner using this gas engine is generally called a gas heat pump type air conditioner (hereinafter abbreviated as “GHP”). According to this GHP, since relatively inexpensive city gas or the like can be used as fuel, running cost is increased like an air conditioner (hereinafter abbreviated as “EHP”) equipped with a compressor using an electric motor. There is no such thing, and the cost can be reduced for consumers.
[0004]
In addition, in GHP, for example, when heating operation is performed, if high-temperature exhaust gas discharged from a gas engine or heat of engine cooling water (so-called waste heat) is used as a refrigerant heating source, an excellent heating effect can be obtained. It becomes possible, and energy use efficiency can be increased as compared with EHP. Incidentally, in this case, the energy utilization efficiency of GHP is about 1.2 to 1.5 times higher than that of EHP. Moreover, if such a mechanism is introduced, it is not necessary to specially install a device such as the above-described refrigerant heater in the refrigerant circuit.
[0005]
In addition, in GHP, the defrosting operation of the outdoor heat exchanger necessary for heating operation, so-called defrosting operation, can also be performed using waste heat of the gas engine. Generally, the defrosting operation in EHP is such that the heating operation is stopped and the cooling operation is temporarily performed to defrost the outdoor heat exchanger. In this case, since cold air blows out into the room, the comfort of the indoor environment is impaired. In GHP, continuous heating operation is possible due to the above-described circumstances, and there is no problem that is of concern in EHP.
[0006]
On the other hand, on the indoor unit side of EHP, an independent indoor unit is installed for each of a plurality of air conditioning target sections, and cooling operation of all sections (total number of indoor units) or partial sections, all sections (total number of indoor units) or A multi-type system has been developed that can perform heating operation in some sections and simultaneous cooling / heating / pause operation for each air conditioning target section or indoor unit. For example, Japanese Patent Laid-Open Nos. 1-2247967 and 7-43042, JP-A-9-60994, and the like.
[0007]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, as described above, a multi-type system is desired to be applied to an indoor unit of GHP having many advantages as well as EHP.
However, when a multi-type system is applied to GHP, the condensing capacity and evaporating capacity of the outdoor heat exchanger provided on the outdoor unit side corresponds to a wide range of required capacities according to the operating conditions of each indoor unit. There is a need. That is, in the case of mainly performing the cooling operation, the condensation required for the outdoor heat exchanger functioning as a condenser according to the combination of the number of indoor unit units performing the cooling operation or the number of indoor unit units performing the heating operation. Because the capacity varies over a wide range, an inexpensive system that can easily provide the condensation capacity on demand is desired.
[0008]
FIG. 11 is a Mollier diagram showing the refrigeration cycle of the air conditioner. In the case of cooling operation, the space between i1 and i2 in the figure is the cooling (evaporation) capacity of the indoor heat exchanger. In order to obtain this cooling capacity, it is necessary to obtain the condensation capacity between i3 and i1 from the outdoor heat exchanger side.
However, when mixed operation of cooling and heating is performed in each of a plurality of indoor units, since a heating (condensation) capability between i4 and i1 can be obtained from a small number of indoor heat exchangers performing the heating operation, outdoor heat exchange is performed. The vessel only has to bear the condensation capacity corresponding to i3 to i4. That is, since the cooling capacity between i1-i2 and the heating capacity between i4-i1 are values that change according to the operating conditions selected by the user, the condensing capacity required for the outdoor heat exchanger also depends on this. It varies over a wide range.
[0009]
When heating operation is mainly performed, the evaporation capacity obtained by a small number of indoor heat exchangers that perform cooling operation and the condensation capacity obtained by many indoor heat exchangers that perform heating operation, depending on the setting of the user. Therefore, the evaporation capacity required for the outdoor heat exchanger functioning as an evaporator also varies widely. During heating operation, for example, by introducing engine cooling water from the gas engine to the water heat exchanger and using the waste heat of the gas engine, it is possible to supplement the evaporation capacity of the outdoor heat exchanger that functions as an evaporator. It is.
[0010]
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and its object is to condense the outdoor heat exchanger according to the operation status of a multi-type system that includes a plurality of indoor unit units and is capable of air-conditioning and mixing operation. Another object of the present invention is to provide a multi-type gas heat pump type air conditioner equipped with an inexpensive system capable of easily changing the capacity to the required fluctuation of the vaporization capacity.
[0011]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention employs the following means in order to solve the above problems. The multi-type gas heat pump type air conditioner according to
[0012]
According to such a multi-type gas heat pump type air conditioner, with respect to the outdoor heat exchanger divided into a plurality of parts, the flow of the refrigerant can be controlled for each divided part, so the condensation capacity of the outdoor heat exchanger or The evaporation capability can be changed stepwise according to the number of divisions.
