【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a power supply control device for a vehicle.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In recent years, with the increase of various electronic components mounted on automobiles, the current consumed by the electronic components has been increasing. Therefore, a reduction in battery current consumption is demanded in order to improve fuel efficiency in a vehicle running state and to secure engine starting performance after long-time vehicle parking.
[0003]
In particular, when the vehicle is parked, the operation of various electronic components such as an ECU (electronic control unit) is stopped with the ignition switch turned off, and the mode is shifted to the low power consumption mode, thereby reducing the power consumption of the battery. However, in this case, even after shifting to the low power consumption mode, battery power is continuously supplied to some electronic components, and the battery continues to be consumed. For this reason, there is a technique in which when a vehicle is parked for a long time and a predetermined power cut period elapses, power supply from the battery to the ECU or the like is cut at that time. Thereby, even after parking for a long time, the starter drive at the time of restarting the engine is performed without any trouble, and the engine starting performance can be secured.
[0004]
However, the state of battery consumption in the parking state is different when the battery is deteriorated or when the ECU as the power supply destination is abnormal. Therefore, even if a predetermined power cut period is set in order to ensure engine starting performance, it may be unexpectedly impossible to restart the engine in some cases.
[0005]
On the other hand, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2000-142275 is disclosed as a technique for preventing a battery from running out of a vehicle. In the apparatus disclosed in this publication, a set cut waiting time after the ignition switch is turned off when the accumulated traveling distance of the vehicle is a predetermined value or less. After the elapse of time, the power supply circuit to the backup memory was cut. In this case, useless power supply to the backup memory is cut off before the vehicle is delivered when the cumulative travel distance is equal to or less than a predetermined value, and the battery is prevented from running out. In addition, in the travel distance range of a predetermined value or more, the wasteful power supply to the vehicle interior lamp is cut off. However, the device disclosed in the above publication eliminates unnecessary power supply to the backup memory before delivery, and eliminates unnecessary power supply to the vehicle interior lamp after delivery, and assumes that the vehicle is parked for a long time. The power supply control is not performed. Further, the power supply control in consideration of the deterioration state of the battery is not performed.
[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The present invention has been made paying attention to the above-mentioned problems, and the object of the present invention is to appropriately perform power cut control in accordance with the battery state, and as a result, even when the vehicle is parked for a long time, the battery goes up and the engine. It is an object of the present invention to provide a power supply control device for a vehicle that can prevent a starting failure.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In the present invention, as a premise, when the vehicle is parked and left for a predetermined power cut period, the power supply from the in-vehicle battery to the electronic components is stopped. As a result, battery consumption in the vehicle parked state is suppressed, battery exhaustion when the vehicle is parked for a long time is suppressed, and engine start performance at the time of restart is ensured.
[0008]
In particular, according to the first aspect of the present invention, when the vehicle is parked, the battery consumption state is monitored each time. Based on the monitored result, the battery is turned off before the power cut period is initially set. The consumption state is determined by two threshold values, and when the battery consumption increases and reaches the first threshold, the power cut period is changed to the shortened side, and the battery consumption further increases to the second threshold. When the threshold is reached, the power is forcibly cut off . In short, when a battery deteriorates or an abnormality occurs in an electronic component to which power is supplied, this is reflected in the state of battery consumption. For example, the battery consumption may increase when the battery deteriorates or when the power supply destination is abnormal. In this case, if the battery consumption increases, even if the power cut period is initially set, the power cut is forcibly executed before that regardless of the power cut period. Also, by determining with two threshold values, appropriate power cut control can be realized according to the degree of battery consumption. As a result, the power cut control is appropriately performed in accordance with the battery state, and as a result, it is possible to prevent the battery from running out and the engine starting failure even when the vehicle is parked for a long time.
[0012]
Also, in the invention according to claim 2, when carrying out the power supply cut prior to the expiration of the initial set power cut-off period (i.e., when carrying out the forced power cut), and stores the history, the next the setting of the power supply cut-off period is to reflect. That is, when a forced power cut is performed due to battery deterioration or the like, it is highly possible that the same treatment is performed at the next parking. Therefore, according to this configuration, more appropriate power cut control can be realized.
In this case, as described in claim 3, when the battery consumption reaches a predetermined threshold value indicating excessive consumption, the power may be forcibly cut off. As a result, problems such as battery exhaustion due to excessive battery consumption can be prevented.
Further, as described in claim 4, when the battery consumption state is determined by two threshold values, and the battery consumption increases and reaches the first threshold value, the power cut period is changed to the shorter side. However, when the battery consumption further increases and reaches the second threshold value, the power may be forcibly cut off. Thereby, appropriate power cut control can be realized according to the degree of battery consumption.
Further, as described in claim 5, the power cut period may be changed in a range including 0 according to the state of battery consumption each time. The power cut period = 0 means that the power cut is performed immediately. As a result, the power cut period is appropriately set within a range including the forced power cut.
[0013]
According to the battery consumption current, the battery voltage, and the fluctuation amount of the battery voltage per time, the state of battery consumption can be determined. Accordingly, as described in claim 6, when at least one of the battery consumption current, the battery voltage, and the fluctuation amount of the battery voltage per time is detected and the detected value reaches a predetermined threshold value, It is good to carry out a cut.
[0014]
Further, in the invention according to
[0016]
In such a case, as described in claim 8 , the power supply control unit may change the power supply cut period within a range including 0 according to which or how many electronic control units are not in the low power consumption mode. . In this case, the necessary power cut period can be set appropriately each time.
[0017]
Further, in the invention according to claim 9, the power control unit, the receive diagnostic information from the electronic control unit, based on the diagnostic information, implement power cut previously initialized by power cut-off period. That is, when some abnormality occurs in the vehicle control system, it is considered that the battery consumption increases due to the abnormality, so that the power supply is cut early.

Since the battery consumption state is monitored when the vehicle is parked, and the power is cut even before the cutting days α based on the monitored result, the power cut control is appropriately performed according to the battery state, and the long Even when the vehicle is parked for a long time, it is possible to prevent the battery from running out and poor engine start.
[0029]
In the process of FIG. 3, the battery voltage, the battery consumption current, and the battery voltage fluctuation are used as parameters, and if these have reached a predetermined threshold value, it is determined that the battery consumption is excessive. What is necessary is just to determine a battery consumption state with at least one parameter among parameters. In this case, the configuration of the
[0030]
(Second Embodiment)
Next, a second embodiment of the present invention will be described focusing on the differences from the first embodiment described above. In this embodiment, the battery consumption state is determined by two threshold values, and when each threshold value is reached as the battery consumption increases, first, the cut days α (power cut period) is set to the shortening side. If the battery consumption is further increased, the power is cut forcibly.
[0031]
Specifically, for example, a first threshold value = 11 V and a second threshold value = 10 V are set as the battery voltage threshold values (the battery voltage in a normal state is about 13 to 14 V). And in a vehicle parking state (IG = OFF state), the control part 11 implements power supply cut control according to the flowchart of FIG. In FIG. 4, in
[0032]
As described above, according to the second embodiment, appropriate power cut control can be realized according to the degree of battery consumption. As a result, even when the vehicle is parked for a long time, it is possible to prevent the battery from running out and poor engine start.
[0033]
In FIG. 4, only the case where the battery voltage is used as a parameter has been described. Of course, the battery current consumption and the battery voltage fluctuation amount are also determined based on two threshold values, and each time the threshold value is reached, a cut is made. It is also possible to sequentially carry out the change to the shortening side of the number of days α and the forced power cut.
[0034]
(Third embodiment)
Next, a third embodiment of the present invention will be described. In the present embodiment, the state of battery consumption is estimated based on the received information from the
[0035]
Specifically, in the vehicle parking state (IG = OFF state), the control unit 11 as the power control unit performs power cut control according to the flowchart of FIG. In FIG. 5, in
[0036]
However, in
[0037]
As described above, according to the third embodiment, when the
[0038]
In particular, in the present embodiment, the state of battery consumption can be monitored from the results of communication with
[0039]
In addition to the above, the present invention can be embodied in the following forms.
The cut days α may be changed in a range including 0 using the relationship of FIG. In FIG. 6, when the battery current consumption exceeds a predetermined value TH1, the cut days α are changed to the shortened side, and when the battery consumption current reaches the predetermined value TH2, the cut days α becomes zero. However, the horizontal axis of FIG. 6 is not limited to the battery current consumption as long as it is a parameter that can monitor the battery consumption state. For example, the battery voltage or the amount of battery voltage fluctuation may be used as the parameter.
[0040]
When forced power cut is performed, the history may be reflected in the setting of the next cut days α. For example, after the forced power cut, the cut days α are shortened to about 1/2 or 1/3 of the original. That is, when a forced power cut is performed due to battery deterioration or the like, it is highly likely that the same treatment is performed at the next parking. Therefore, according to this configuration, more appropriate power cut control can be realized.
