Vx−Va=A(x) sinωt−Pa sinωt
={A(x) −Pa }sinωt …
Vb−Vx=Pb sinωt−A(x) sinωt
={Pb −A(x) }sinωt …

Va=Pa sinωt
Vb=Pb sinωt
である。
【0032】
Vx−Va=A(x) sinωt−Pa sinωt
={A(x) −Pa }sinωt
Vb−Vx=Pb sinωt−A(x) sinωt
={Pb −A(x) }sinωt
検出対象区間の始まりの位置aでは、A(x)=Paであることから、この演算結果の振幅係数「Pb −A(x) 」は「Pb −Pa 」となる。

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a relative rotational position detection device including a coil that is AC-excited and a pair of magnetic bodies or conductors that are magnetically coupled to the coil and relatively rotationally displaced. It is suitable for detecting the relative rotational position, such as the amount of twist and rotational deviation of the two axes that can rotate relatively. Especially, it can detect with high accuracy even if the input shaft or output shaft is wobbled. It can be performed, or the device configuration is made compact, or the output AC signal showing the amplitude function characteristics of a plurality of phases using only the primary coil excited by one-phase AC is detected. Generating according to the relative rotational position.
[0002]
[Prior art]
It has been well known that a detecting device such as a potentiometer or a resolver device is provided on an input shaft and an output shaft connected via a torsion bar as a method of detecting a relative rotational amount of two axes. Yes. In the case of using a potentiometer, by providing a slider on the input shaft and providing a resistance on the output shaft, the contact position of the slider with respect to the resistance changes according to the relative rotational position of the input shaft and the output shaft. Then, an analog voltage corresponding to this is obtained. In an apparatus using a resolver device, a resolver device is provided on both the input shaft and the output shaft, and a relative rotation amount (twist amount) is detected based on an angle signal from both resolver devices. On the other hand, a non-contact torque sensor for power steering using an induction coil has also been developed as a means for detecting a rotational deviation between two relatively rotatable axes. In this case, in order to take out the voltage induced in the induction coil, a resistance element is connected in series with the coil, and the induction voltage is taken out by a voltage dividing ratio between the resistance element and the impedance of the induction coil.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In the prior art using a potentiometer, since it has a mechanical contact structure, there are always problems of poor contact and failure. Moreover, since the impedance change of the resistance occurs due to the temperature change, the temperature drift compensation must be appropriately performed. On the other hand, in the conventional technology using the resolver device, the resolver device must be provided on both the input shaft and the output shaft connected by the torsion bar. There is a difficulty of becoming expensive. Further, a rotation deviation detection device known as a non-contact torque sensor for power steering using a conventional induction coil is configured to measure an analog voltage level generated in response to a minute rotation deviation, and in the detection resolution thereof It is inferior. Further, in order to take out the voltage induced in the induction coil, a resistance element is connected in series with the coil, and the induction voltage is taken out by a voltage dividing ratio between the resistance element and the impedance of the induction coil. The temperature drift compensation performance is poor due to the difference in temperature characteristics from the resistance element. Furthermore, in the type using a magnetic induction type non-contact type sensor including a resolver device, when an unnecessary movement other than rotation is applied to the input shaft, the coil and magnetic body in the magnetic induction type sensor Undesirable distortion occurs in the arrangement of the magnetic circuit, an error occurs in which the gap of the magnetic circuit changes, and it is difficult to detect an accurate twist amount. For example, this type of torque sensor is used for the rotating shaft of a steering wheel of an automobile. However, in such an application, an unnecessary movement other than rotation is likely to be added to the input shaft, so improvement is desired. It was.
[0004]
The present invention has been made in view of the above points, and it is an object of the present invention to provide a relative rotational position detection device capable of performing accurate detection even if the input shaft or the output shaft is shaky. is there. It is another object of the present invention to provide a relative rotational position detecting device having a small and simple structure. It is another object of the present invention to provide a relative rotational position detection device that can easily compensate for temperature characteristics. Furthermore, an object of the present invention is to provide a relative rotational position detecting device capable of detecting with high resolution even if the relative rotational displacement of the detection target is minute.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
A relative rotational position detection device according to a first aspect of the present invention is a relative rotational position detection device that detects the relative rotational positions of first and second shafts that are connected by a torsion bar and are relatively rotatable. A coil portion formed by disposing at least one coil excited by an AC signal, and first and second magnetic response members disposed on the first and second shafts, wherein the coil portion And the relative position of the first and second magnetic response members changes according to the relative rotational position, and the output corresponding to this is generated from the coil part, Provided between at least one of the first and second shafts and at least one of the first and second magnetic response members arranged corresponding to the first and second shafts, and makes unnecessary movement of the shafts other than the rotation direction. Absorbing Oldham mechanism andA circuit for generating a predetermined reference voltage composed of an AC signal, an output signal of the coil section and the reference voltage are calculated, and at least two AC output signals having a predetermined periodic amplitude function as an amplitude coefficient are generated. An arithmetic circuit, wherein the periodic amplitude function of each AC output signal is different in a periodic characteristic by a predetermined phase corresponding to a sine and cosine function. It is a thing with.
The relative rotational position detection device of the present invention according to the same aspect is a relative rotational position detection device that detects the relative rotational positions of the first and second shafts that are connected by a torsion bar and are relatively rotatable. A coil portion having at least one sensor coil excited by an AC signal, and first and second magnetic response members disposed on the first and second shafts, And the relative position of the first and second magnetic response members changes according to the relative rotational position, and the impedance of the sensor coil changes accordingly. At least one of the first and second magnetic response members disposed corresponding to at least one of the first and second shafts, and the one that generates an output corresponding to the impedance change from the coil unit; Between one side An Oldham mechanism that absorbs unnecessary movement of the shaft other than the rotation direction, a temperature compensation coil connected in series to the sensor coil, and a connection point between the sensor coil and the temperature compensation coil, And a circuit for extracting an output signal of the sensor coil that changes based on a change in impedance of the sensor coil.
Furthermore, the relative rotational position detection device of the present invention according to the same aspect is a relative rotational position detection device that detects the relative rotational positions of the first and second shafts that are connected by a torsion bar and are relatively rotatable. An Oldham mechanism for absorbing The unit includes a primary coil and at least two secondary coils, and at least two AC output signals having a predetermined periodic amplitude function as an amplitude coefficient are generated from the secondary coil, and the period of each AC output signal The periodic amplitude function is characterized in that its periodic characteristic differs by a predetermined phase corresponding to the sine and cosine functions.
[0006]
By absorbing unnecessary movement of the shaft other than the rotational direction by the Oldham mechanism, the relative positional relationship between the first and second magnetic response members is limited to the relative rotational position of the first and second shafts. It changes in response and becomes unaffected by other unwanted movements. For example, the first shaft may be an input shaft, and the Oldham mechanism may be provided between the first shaft and the corresponding first magnetic response member. Since the rotational movement of the first axis is accurately transmitted to the first magnetic response member via the Oldham mechanism, the relative positions of the first and second magnetic response members are the same as those of the first and second axes. Since the relative position is accurately reflected, accurate position detection can be performed without any problem. When the first shaft moves in a direction other than the rotation direction, for example, when the first shaft moves in the radial direction due to a slight bending of the shaft, the Oldham mechanism absorbs this movement and the relative relationship between the first and second magnetic response members is increased. Does not affect the relative position. Therefore, the relative arrangement of the first and second magnetic response members does not occur in conjunction with the bending of the first and second shafts (input / output shafts), and the first and second magnetic responses do not occur. Undesirable fluctuations do not occur in the air gap between the members or the air gap between the first and second magnetic response members and the detection coil. Moreover, as long as the principle structure of the sensor is of a type that responds to a change in magnetic coupling through an air gap, the Oldham mechanism can be applied to any type of sensor according to the present invention. It has an advantageous effect. Thus, according to the present invention,For example, in the configuration of detecting the relative rotational positions of the first and second shafts connected to each other by a torsion bar and relatively rotatable, such as the rotational shaft of an automobile steering wheel, using a coil,In the relative relationship between the input shaft and the output shaft, accurate detection can be performed even if undesired rattling other than in the rotational direction occurs.
[0007]
A relative rotational position detection device according to a second aspect of the present invention is a relative rotational position detection device that detects relative rotational positions of first and second shafts that are relatively rotatable, and is an AC signal. A coil part formed by arranging one sensor coil to be excited, and first and second magnetic response members arranged on the first and second axes, wherein the coil part is magnetically And the relative position of the first and second magnetic response members changes according to the relative rotational position, and the output corresponding to this is generated from the sensor coil, and the sensor coil A circuit for extracting an output signal of the sensor coil that changes based on a change in impedance of the sensor coil from a connection point between the temperature compensation coil connected in series and the sensor coil and the temperature compensation coil; Adjust the output signal A rectifier circuit for obtaining a DC voltage level corresponding to the relative rotational positions byA circuit for generating a predetermined AC reference voltage composed of an AC signal, an output signal of the sensor coil and the AC reference voltage are calculated, and an AC output signal having an amplitude coefficient corresponding to the relative rotational position is generated. A first AC output signal having a predetermined first function related to the relative rotational position as an amplitude coefficient, and a second function having a characteristic opposite to the first function as an amplitude coefficient. Generating a second AC output signal having
And the first and second AC output signals of the arithmetic circuit are input to the rectifier circuit to obtain DC voltages at levels corresponding to the relative rotational positions, respectively. .
[0008]
In the above-described configuration, the first and second magnetic response members typically include at least one of a magnetic body and a conductor. The degree of magnetic coupling of the first and second magnetic response members to the sensor coil changes according to the relative rotational positions of the first and second shafts. When the first and second magnetic response members are made of a magnetic material, the inductance of the coil increases as the degree of magnetic coupling of the first and second magnetic response members to the sensor coil increases. The electrical impedance of the coil increases, and the voltage generated in the coil, that is, the voltage between terminals increases. Conversely, as the degree of magnetic coupling of the first and second magnetic response members to the sensor coil decreases, the inductance of the coil portion decreases and the electrical impedance of the coil portion decreases. Thus, with the relative rotation of the detection target, the voltage between the terminals of the coil gradually increases (or while the relative rotation position of the first and second magnetic response members with respect to the coil portion changes over a predetermined rotation angle range. (Gradual decrease) will change.
[0009]
Here, by providing a temperature compensation coil connected in series to the sensor coil, the sensor changes based on a change in impedance of the sensor coil from a connection point between the sensor coil and the temperature compensation coil. Since the output voltage of the main coil is taken out, the temperature drift can be appropriately canceled by using the same coil, and the output voltage after the temperature drift compensation can be taken out. In addition, a predetermined consisting of an AC signalAlternating currentA reference voltage is generated, and the output signal of the sensor coil and theAlternating currentThe calculation of the reference voltage and the generation of an AC output signal having an amplitude coefficient corresponding to the relative rotational position means that the amplitude characteristic of the output signal of the sensor coil can be set to a desired characteristic. . For example,Alternating currentAdding or subtracting the reference voltage means that the amplitude characteristic of the output signal of the sensor coil can be offset at a desired level. As a result, the first AC output signal having the predetermined first function relating to the relative rotational position as the amplitude coefficient, and the first function, which has a configuration having one sensor coil, have characteristics opposite to those of the first function. A second AC output signal having the second function as an amplitude coefficient can be easily generated. The AC output signal is rectified by a rectifier circuit to obtain an analog DC voltage having a level corresponding to the relative rotational position. That is, the present invention can be applied effectively when it is desired to obtain a torque detection signal with an analog DC voltage. AndAlternating currentControl can be performed so that an analog DC voltage having desired characteristics can be obtained by calculation using the reference voltage. Further, by providing the temperature compensation coil connected in series to the sensor coil, temperature drift compensation can be appropriately performed.
[0010]
A relative rotational position detection device according to a third aspect of the present invention is a relative rotational position detection device that detects relative rotational positions of relatively rotatable first and second shafts, and is an AC signal. A coil part formed by arranging at least one coil to be excited; and first and second magnetic response members arranged on the first and second shafts, wherein the coil part is magnetically The relative positions of the first and second magnetic response members are changed in accordance with the relative rotational position, and an output corresponding to the first and second magnetic response members is generated from the coil unit. It consists of a plate-shaped member formed with a plurality of slit portions at predetermined intervals in the rotation direction, and magnetic coupling to the coil portion is caused by the overlapping state of the slit portions of the magnetic response members according to the relative rotation position. Change andA predetermined first calculation and a second calculation using the circuit for generating the first and second reference voltages composed of AC signals, the output voltage of the coil section and the first and second reference voltages. , Respectively, to generate a first AC output signal having a first amplitude function as an amplitude coefficient and a second AC output signal having a second amplitude function as an amplitude coefficient, respectively. The first and second amplitude functions differ in their periodic characteristics by a predetermined phase corresponding to the sine and cosine functions.WithThe first and second reference voltages define a specific phase interval in the periodic characteristics of the first and second amplitude functions in the first and second AC output signals. By changing the second reference voltage, it is possible to change the correspondence between the specific phase section and the change range of the relative position..
[0011]
According to the above configuration, the first and second magnetic response members respectively disposed on the first and second shafts are flat plate members formed by forming a plurality of slit portions at predetermined intervals in the rotation direction. And the magnetic coupling to the coil portion is changed by the overlapping state of the slit portions of the magnetic response members according to the relative rotational position. As a result, the structure of the first and second magnetic response members becomes a flat and compact structure as a whole, which is much simpler, smaller and more compact than a structure in which large uneven teeth are provided. be able to.
[0012]
In the relative position detection device according to the present invention according to any one of the above aspects, an output AC signal showing a plurality of phase amplitude function characteristics using only a primary coil (that is, a sensor coil) excited by a one-phase AC. Can be generated according to the relative position to be detected. That is, a circuit for generating a predetermined reference voltage composed of an AC signal, an output signal of the coil unit and the reference voltage are calculated, and at least two AC output signals having a predetermined periodic amplitude function as an amplitude coefficient are generated. In the arithmetic circuit, the periodic amplitude function of each AC output signal may further include a periodic characteristic that differs by a predetermined phase.
[0013]
For example, typically, the incremental change curve exhibited by the voltage generated in the coil while the relative position of a pair of magnetic response members varies over a predetermined range is in the range of 0 to 90 degrees in the sine function. It can be compared to a function value change. Here, the AC signal component is indicated by sin ωt, and the amplitude coefficient level value of the sensor coil output voltage Vx obtained corresponding to the position of the beginning of an appropriate section in the gradually increasing change curve indicated by the terminal voltage of the sensor coil is Pa. Then, the coil output voltage Vx corresponding to the start position of the section can be expressed as Pa sin ωt. When the amplitude coefficient level value of the sensor coil output voltage Vx obtained corresponding to the end position of the section is Pb, the sensor coil output voltage corresponding to the end position of the section is expressed as Pb sin ωt. The Here, when an alternating voltage having the same value as the value Pa sin ωt of the coil output voltage Vx corresponding to the starting position is determined as the reference voltage Va and subtracted from the sensor coil output voltage Vx, the sensor coil output voltage Vx When the amplitude coefficient is represented by a function A (x),
Vx−Va = A (x) sin ωt−Pa sin ωt
= {A (x) −Pa} sinωt Equation (1)
It becomes. Since A (x) = Pa at the start position of the section, the amplitude coefficient “A (x) −Pa” of this calculation result is “0”. On the other hand, since A (x) = Pb at the end position of the section, the amplitude coefficient “A (x) −Pa” of this calculation result becomes “Pb−Pa”. Therefore, the amplitude coefficient “A (x) −Pa” as a result of this calculation shows a function characteristic that gradually increases from “0” to “Pb−Pa” within the range of the section. Here, since “Pb−Pa” is the maximum value, when this is equivalently considered as “1”, the amplitude coefficient “A (x) −Pa” of the AC signal according to the above equation (1) In this range, it changes from “0” to “1”, and the function characteristic of the amplitude coefficient can be compared with the characteristic of the first quadrant (that is, the range of 0 to 90 degrees) of the sine function. . Therefore, the amplitude coefficient “A (x) −Pa” of the AC signal according to the above equation (1) can be equivalently expressed as sin θ (however, approximately 0 ° ≦ θ ≦ 90 °).
[0014]
In a preferred embodiment, the circuit that generates the predetermined reference voltage generates first and second reference voltages, and the arithmetic circuit includes the voltage extracted from the one coil and the first and second voltages. A first AC output signal having a first amplitude function as an amplitude coefficient and a second amplitude function as an amplitude coefficient by performing predetermined first calculation and second calculation using a reference voltage, respectively. The second AC output signal is generated. In this case, since the coil portion only needs to have one sensor coil, the configuration can be simplified to the minimum. By using the Va as the first reference voltage, it is possible to obtain the first amplitude function having a characteristic of approximately the first quadrant of the sine function (that is, a range of 0 to 90 degrees). .
Further, when an AC voltage having the same value as the value Pb sinωt of the coil output voltage Vx corresponding to the end position of the section is defined as the second reference voltage Vb, and the difference between this and the coil output voltage Vx is obtained,
Vb−Vx = Pb sinωt−A (x) sinωt
= {Pb−A (x)} sinωt Equation (2)
It becomes. Since A (x) = Pa at the start position of the section, the amplitude coefficient “Pb−A (x)” of this calculation result is “Pb−Pa”. On the other hand, since A (x) = Pb at the end position of the section, the amplitude coefficient “Pb−A (x)” of this calculation result is “0”. Therefore, the amplitude coefficient “Pb−A (x)” of the calculation result shows a function characteristic that gradually decreases from “Pb−Pa” to “0” within the range of the section. Similarly to the above, assuming that “Pb−Pa” is equivalent to “1”, the amplitude coefficient “Pb−A (x)” of the AC signal according to the equation (2) is “ 1 ”to“ 0 ”, and the function characteristic of the amplitude coefficient can be compared with the characteristic of the first quadrant (that is, the range of 0 to 90 degrees) of the cosine function. Therefore, the amplitude coefficient “Pb−A (x)” of the AC signal according to the equation (2) can be equivalently expressed as cos θ (provided that 0 ° ≦ θ ≦ 90 °). The subtraction in equation (2) may be “Vx−Vb”.
[0015]
Thus, by using only one coil and two reference voltages, it is possible to generate two AC output signals each indicating the amplitude according to the sine and cosine function characteristics according to the relative rotational position to be detected. For example, when the relative rotation position to be detected is represented by a phase angle θ when a predetermined detectable range is converted into a phase angle of 360 degrees, an AC output signal having an amplitude indicating a sine function characteristic is approximately: An AC output signal having an amplitude indicating a cosine function characteristic can be indicated by cos θsin ωt. This is similar to the form of the output signal of the position detector called a resolver, and is extremely useful. For example, the two AC output signals generated by the arithmetic circuit are input, and the phase value in the sine and cosine function that defines the amplitude value is detected from the correlation between the amplitude values in the two AC output signals. It is preferable that an amplitude phase conversion unit that generates position detection data of the detection target based on the detected phase value is provided. Note that the sine and cosine functions exhibit characteristics in a range of approximately one quadrant (90 degrees), so that the detectable position range is detected after being converted to a phase angle in the range of approximately 90 degrees.
[0016]
When a non-magnetic good conductor (ie, diamagnetic material) such as copper is used as the magnetic response member, the self-inductance of the coil decreases due to eddy current loss. The voltage between the terminals of the coil gradually decreases. In this case, detection can be performed in the same manner as described above. Further, as the magnetic response member, a hybrid type in which a magnetic body (that is, a ferromagnetic body) and a nonmagnetic / conductive body (that is, a diamagnetic body) are combined may be used. As another embodiment, the magnetic response member may include a permanent magnet, and the coil may include a magnetic core. In this case, the corresponding portion of the magnetic core on the coil side becomes magnetically saturated or supersaturated according to the approach of the permanent magnet, and the magnetic response member, that is, between the terminals of the coil according to the relative displacement of the permanent magnet with respect to the coil. The voltage will gradually decrease.
[0017]
Thus, according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, it is sufficient to provide only the primary coil, and no secondary coil is required. Therefore, a position detecting device having a small and simple structure can be provided. In addition, by using one sensor coil, a plurality of AC output signals each indicating an amplitude according to a predetermined periodic function characteristic according to a detection target position (for example, two AC output signals each indicating an amplitude according to a sine and cosine function characteristic) ) Can be easily generated, and at least approximately one quadrant (90 degrees) can be taken as a usable phase angle range. Accordingly, detection can be performed in a relatively wide phase angle range with a small number of coils, and detection resolution can be improved. Further, even if the displacement of the detection target is small, the relative position can be detected with high resolution. Furthermore, it is possible to perform an accurate analog calculation in which both the output voltage and the reference voltage are compensated for temperature drift, and relative position detection can be easily performed without the influence of temperature changes. Of course, the circuit for generating the reference voltage is not limited to the coil, and a voltage generation circuit having another appropriate configuration such as a resistor may be used. In addition, the number of coils and reference voltages is not limited to 1 or 2, but may be more than that, and accordingly, the usable phase angle range is not limited to approximately one quadrant (90 degrees). It is also possible to enlarge.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
First, in order to facilitate understanding of the position detection principle in the embodiment, for the sake of convenience of explanation, the first embodiment will be described as a first embodiment. The compact is made of a flat magnetic response member without an Oldham mechanism. A position detection device having a structured configuration will be described with reference to FIGS.

FIG. 4A is a graph illustrating the voltage (vertical axis) generated in the sensor coil L1 corresponding to the relative rotational position (horizontal axis x) to be detected. A, c, and b described on the horizontal axis x correspond to the positions shown in FIGS. 3A, 3C, and 3B, and as described above, the positions corresponding to FIG. In a, since the impedance is minimum, the voltage generated in the coil L1 is at the minimum level (minimum amplitude coefficient). In addition, at the position b corresponding to FIG. 3B, the voltage generated in the coil L1 is the maximum level (maximum amplitude coefficient) because the impedance is maximum.

The voltage generated in the sensor coil L1 gradually increases from the minimum value to the maximum value while the relative positions of the first and second

[0032]
As shown in FIG. 2B, as a circuit for generating the reference voltages Va and Vb, there are a circuit in which two coils La1 and La2 are connected in series and a circuit in which two coils Lb1 and Lb2 are connected in series. These are also driven by an AC signal from the
[0033]
The
Vx−Va = A (x) sin ωt−Pa sin ωt
= {A (x) -Pa} sinωt
Perform the following operation. Since A (x) = Pa at the start position a of the detection target section set by the first reference voltage Va, the amplitude coefficient “A (x) −Pa” of this calculation result is “0”. . On the other hand, since A (x) = Pb at the end position b of the detection target section, the amplitude coefficient “A (x) −Pa” of this calculation result is “Pb−Pa”. Therefore, the amplitude coefficient “A (x) −Pa” as a result of this calculation shows a function characteristic that gradually increases from “0” to “Pb−Pa” within the range of the detection target section. Here, since “Pb−Pa” is the maximum value, when this is equivalently considered as “1”, the amplitude coefficient “A (x) −Pa” of the AC signal according to the above equation is the range of the detection target section. As shown in FIG. 4B, it changes from “0” to “1”, and the function characteristic of this amplitude coefficient is the first of the sine function sin θ as shown in FIG. It can be compared to the characteristics of a quadrant (that is, a range of 0 to 90 degrees). Therefore, the amplitude coefficient “A (x) −Pa” of the AC signal according to the above equation can be expressed equivalently using sin θ (however, approximately 0 ° ≦ θ ≦ 90 °). 3B and 3C, only the amplitude coefficient curve sin θ of the sine function characteristic with respect to the position x is shown, but the actual output of the
[0034]
The
Vb−Vx = Pb sinωt−A (x) sinωt
= {Pb-A (x)} sin ωt
Perform the following operation. Since A (x) = Pa at the start position a of the detection target section, the amplitude coefficient “Pb−A (x)” of this calculation result is “Pb−Pa”. On the other hand, at the end position b of the section set by the second reference voltage Vb, since A (x) = Pb, the amplitude coefficient “Pb−A (x)” of this calculation result is “0”. Become. Therefore, the amplitude coefficient “Pb−A (x)” of the calculation result shows a function characteristic that gradually decreases from “Pb−Pa” to “0” within the range of the detection target section. Similarly to the above, assuming that “Pb−Pa” is equivalent to “1”, the amplitude coefficient “Pb−A (x)” of the AC signal according to the above equation is within the detection target section in FIG. As shown in FIG. 4B, the amplitude characteristic changes from “1” to “0”. The function characteristic of the amplitude coefficient is the first quadrant of the cosine function as shown in FIG. (Range of degrees). Therefore, the amplitude coefficient “Pb−A (x)” of the AC signal according to the above equation can be equivalently expressed using cos θ (provided that 0 ° ≦ θ ≦ 90 °). Also in this case, FIGS. 4B and 4C show only the curve cosθ of the amplitude coefficient of the cosine function characteristic with respect to the position x, but the actual output of the
[0035]
In this way, it is possible to generate two AC output signals sinθsinωt and cosθsinωt that respectively indicate amplitudes according to the sine and cosine function characteristics according to the detection target position x. This is the same as the output signal form of a position detector generally called a resolver, and can be used effectively. For example, two resolver-type AC output signals generated by the
[0036]
As shown in FIG. 4B, the amplitude characteristics of the sine and cosine function characteristics of the AC output signals sin θ sin ωt and cos θ sin ωt have a linear relationship between the phase angle θ and the detection target position x. The true sine and cosine function characteristics as shown in FIG. 4C are not shown. However, in the

As described above, the output voltage Vx of the sensor coil L1 and the reference voltages Va and Vb are each compensated for temperature drift, but there was a level fluctuation error in the same direction due to the difference calculation in the
[0038]
The coils La1, La2, Lb1, and Lb2 for generating the reference voltage use coils having the same characteristics as the sensor coil L1, and are similar to the coils La1, La2, Lb1, Lb2, and the sensor coil L1. Although it is preferable to place it in a temperature environment (that is, to be arranged relatively close to the sensor coil L1), the arrangement is not limited to this, and another arrangement may be used. This is because temperature drift compensation is achieved by series connection of each pair of coils as shown in FIG. 2B and voltage extraction from the connection point. Therefore, the coils La1, La2, Lb1, and Lb2 for generating the reference voltage may be provided on the circuit board side of the

As described above, the temperature compensation coil L2 connected in series to the sensor coil L1 is preferably disposed in the vicinity of the sensor coil L1 and placed in the same environment as much as possible. May also be provided on the circuit board side of the
[0040]
FIG. 5 shows an example of a method for setting the inductance, that is, the impedance of the reference voltage generating coils La1, La2, Lb1, and Lb2. The magnetic core Ma is variably inserted into the pair of coils La1 and La2, and by adjusting the arrangement of the magnetic core Ma, the intrusion amount of the magnetic core Ma into each of the two coils La1 and La2 is differentially changed. Thus, the level of the reference voltage Va can be variably adjusted. Similarly, the magnetic core Mb is variably inserted into the pair of coils Lb1 and Lb2, and by adjusting the arrangement, the amount of penetration of the magnetic core Mb into each of the two coils Lb1 and Lb2 is different. It is dynamically adjusted, and the level of the reference voltage Vb can be variably adjusted.
[0041]
The reference voltage generating circuit is not limited to a coil, and a resistor or other appropriate constant voltage generating circuit may be used. In the example of FIG. 1, the axis of the sensor coil L1 is in the same direction (thrust direction) as the axis of the

The relative rotational position detection device according to the present invention is not limited to a torsion amount detection device or a torque sensor, and can be applied to, for example, an engine injection timing control sensor that detects a relative rotational angle of an engine overhead cam. . In addition, in short, it is suitable as a sensor for detecting a relative rotational position such as a twist amount or rotational deviation over a predetermined range of two rotatable axes.

【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the first aspect of the present invention, the magnetic response member is disposed on each of the first and second shafts that are relatively rotationally displaced, and the relative rotational positional relationship between the two magnetic response members is determined. In a detection device of a type that uses a coil for non-contact detection, by interposing the Oldham mechanism, unnecessary movements other than the rotation directions of the first and second shafts are canceled, and the relative relationship between both magnetic response members Since these unnecessary movements are not affected by the relative rotational position, accurate detection is possible even if undesired rattling other than the rotational direction occurs in the relative relationship between the first and second axes. It has an excellent effect that it can be performed.

According to the second aspect of the present invention, an analog DC voltage indicating the relative rotational positions of the first and second shafts can be obtained using a single sensor coil. A temperature compensation coil connected in series with the coil, and an output voltage of the sensor coil that changes based on a change in impedance of the sensor coil is extracted from a connection point between the sensor coil and the temperature compensation coil; Therefore, the temperature drift of the coil can be appropriately canceled out, and the output voltage that has been compensated for the temperature drift can be taken out, thereby improving the detection accuracy. Further, by generating a predetermined reference voltage composed of an AC signal, calculating an output signal of the sensor coil and the reference voltage, and generating an AC output signal having an amplitude coefficient corresponding to the relative rotational position. Thus, the amplitude characteristic of the output signal of the sensor coil can be set to a desired characteristic, and control can be easily performed so as to obtain an analog DC voltage having the desired characteristic.
[0065]
According to the third aspect of the present invention, the first and second magnetic response members arranged on the first and second shafts respectively form a plurality of slit portions at predetermined intervals in the rotation direction. Since the magnetic coupling to the coil portion changes depending on the overlapping state of the slit portions of the magnetic response members according to the relative rotational position, the first member is formed. In addition, the structure of the second magnetic response member becomes a flat and compact structure as a whole, and can be much simplified, downsized, and made compact as compared with a structure in which large uneven teeth are provided.
[0066]
Furthermore, by using only one coil (ie, a sensor coil) that is excited by one-phase alternating current, and calculating the output voltage and the reference voltage, an output alternating current signal showing the amplitude function characteristics of a plurality of phases is obtained. Since it can be configured to be generated according to the relative position as the detection target, in such a configuration, since the secondary coil is unnecessary, the relative rotational position detection of a small and simple structure is possible. An apparatus can be provided. In addition, if necessary, the relative rotational position can be detected with higher accuracy by employing the phase detection method.
