Description
Claims (32)
- 音声・映像ネットワークで使用する無線通信装置(10)であって、
前記無線通信装置(10)が音声・映像システム(40)のディスプレイ(48)の近傍に位置するとき、無線通信ネットワーク(60)における基地局サブシステム(62)を介した前記音声・映像システム(40)との間のセルラ通信リンクを確立し、該セルラ通信リンクを介して前記音声・映像システム(40)と通信可能に接続するコントローラ(20)と、
前記基地局サブシステム(62)を介してリモートの相手と通信して、前記音声・映像システム(40)が前記ディスプレイ(48)に出力する映像信号に付随する音声信号を、前記音声・映像システム(40)から前記セルラ通信リンクを介して受信するトランシーバ(26)と、
前記無線通信装置(10)のユーザに対し、前記受信音声信号を可聴音として出力する音声処理回路(24)と、
を備えることを特徴とする無線通信装置。 - 前記トランシーバ(26)は、前記音声・映像システム(40)に、ユーザによりあらかじめ設定されたユーザプレファレンス情報を送信することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の無線通信装置。
- 前記ユーザが前記ユーザプレファレンス情報を手動で選択することを可能にするための、前記無線通信装置(10)に配置されるキーパッド(14)及びディスプレイ(12)を更に備えることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の無線通信装置。
- 前記コントローラ(20)は、前記音声・映像システム(40)に対して前記無線通信装置(10)を認証することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の無線通信装置。
- 前記コントローラ(20)は、前記音声・映像システム(40)から受信した暗号化された音声信号を復号することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の無線通信装置。
- 前記コントローラ(20)は、前記無線通信ネットワーク(60)から受信したメッセージに応答して音声・映像システム(40)と通信可能に接続することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の無線通信装置。
- 前記メッセージは、前記無線通信装置の地理的位置に応じて前記無線通信装置により受信されるものであることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の無線通信装置。
- 無線通信装置(10)に音声信号を供給する方法であって、
前記無線通信装置(10)が音声・映像システム(40)のディスプレイ(48)の近傍に位置するとき、無線通信ネットワーク(60)における基地局サブシステム(62)を介した前記無線通信装置(10)と前記音声・映像システム(40)との間のセルラ通信リンクを確立する確立ステップと、
前記音声・映像システム(40)が前記ディスプレイ(48)に出力する映像信号に付随する音声信号を、前記セルラ通信リンクを通じて前記音声・映像システム(40)から受信する受信ステップと、
受信した前記音声信号を、前記無線通信装置(10)において、可聴音として出力する出力ステップと、
を有することを特徴とする方法。 - 前記確立ステップは、前記無線通信装置(10)を認証するステップを含むことを特徴とする請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記確立ステップは、前記音声信号に関するユーザプレファレンス情報をネゴシエートするステップを含むことを特徴とする請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記セルラ通信リンクを介して前記音声・映像システム(40)に前記ユーザプレファレンス情報を送信する送信ステップを更に有することを特徴とする請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記音声・映像システム(40)によって送信される音声信号を選択する選択ステップを更に有することを特徴とする請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記選択ステップは、前記音声・映像システム(40)が前記ディスプレイ(48)上に表示する前記映像信号に関係付けられているインジケータ(114)を、前記基地局サブシステム(62)を介して前記音声・映像システム(40)に送信するステップを含むことを特徴とする請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記無線通信装置の地理的位置に基づいて前記基地局サブシステム(62)からメッセージを受信し、該受信したメッセージに応答して前記セルラ通信リンクを確立するステップを更に有することを特徴とする請求項8に記載の方法。
- 音声・映像システム(40)であって、
前記音声・映像システム(40)により出力される映像信号を表示するディスプレイ(48)と、
無線通信装置(10)が前記ディスプレイ(48)の近傍に位置するとき、基地局サブシステム(62)を介した前記音声・映像システム(40)と前記無線通信装置との間のセルラ通信リンクを確立し、前記映像信号を前記ディスプレイに出力するコントローラ(44)と、
前記映像信号に付随する音声信号を、前記セルラ通信リンクを介して無線通信装置(10)に送信するトランシーバ(50)と、
を備えることを特徴とする音声・映像システム。 - 前記コントローラ(44)は更に、前記音声信号に関するユーザプレファレンス情報をネゴシエートすることを特徴とする請求項15に記載の音声・映像システム。
- 前記コントローラ(44)に結合され、前記ユーザプレファレンス情報を格納するメモリ(46)を更に有し、前記コントローラ(44)は、前記セルラ通信リンクが確立されたときに前記ユーザプレファレンス情報を読み込むことを特徴とする請求項16に記載の音声・映像システム。
- 前記トランシーバは、前記セルラ通信リンクを介して、前記無線通信装置(10)から前記ユーザプレファレンス情報を受信することを特徴とする請求項16に記載の音声・映像システム。
- 前記コントローラ(44)は更に、前記無線通信装置(10)を認証することを特徴とする請求項15に記載の音声・映像システム。
- 前記コントローラ(44)は更に、前記無線通信装置(10)に前記音声信号を送信する前に、前記音声信号を暗号化することを特徴とする請求項17に記載の音声・映像システム。
- 複数の映像信号を表示する複数のディスプレイ(112)を更に備え、前記コントローラ(44)は、
各映像信号を対応する音声信号と関連付けるインジケータ(114)を、前記音声・映像システム(40)により出力される複数の映像信号の各映像信号に割り当て、
前記複数のディスプレイ(112)に前記複数の映像信号及びそれらに対応するインジケータを出力する
ことを特徴とする請求項15に記載の音声・映像システム。 - 前記コントローラ(44)は、前記トランシーバが選択したインジケータに関係付けられている前記音声信号を前記無線通信装置(10)に送信するよう前記トランシーバを制御することを特徴とする請求項21に記載の音声・映像システム。
- 前記コントローラ(44)は、前記基地局サブシステム(62)から前記無線通信装置(10)の地理的位置に関連するメッセージであって前記無線通信装置(10)を識別する識別情報を含むメッセージを受信したことに応答して前記セルラ通信リンクを確立することを特徴とする請求項15に記載の音声・映像システム。
- 無線通信装置(10)に音声信号を供給する方法であって、
音声・映像システム(40)のディスプレイ(48)上に映像信号を出力する出力ステップと、
前記ディスプレイ(48)の近傍に無線通信装置(10)が位置するときに、無線通信ネットワーク(60)における基地局サブシステム(62)を介した前記無線通信装置(10)と前記音声・映像システム(40)との間のセルラ通信リンクを確立する確立ステップと、
前記ディスプレイ(48)に出力される前記映像信号に付随する音声信号を、前記セルラ通信リンクを介して前記無線通信装置(10)に送信する送信ステップと、
を有することを特徴とする方法。 - 前記確立ステップは、前記音声・映像システム(40)で前記無線通信装置(10)を認証するステップを含むことを特徴とする請求項24に記載の方法。
- 前記確立ステップは、前記音声信号に関するユーザプレファレンス情報をネゴシエートするネゴシエーションステップを含むことを特徴とする請求項24に記載の方法。
- 前記ネゴシエーションステップは、前記無線通信装置(10)から前記ユーザプレファレンス情報を受信するステップを含むことを特徴とする請求項26に記載の方法。
- 前記ネゴシエーションステップは、前記音声・映像システム(40)でメモリ(46)から前記ユーザプレファレンス情報を読み出すステップを含むことを特徴とする請求項26に記載の方法。
- 前記無線通信装置(10)に前記音声信号を送信する前に、前記音声信号を暗号化するステップを更に有することを特徴とする請求項26に記載の方法。
- 映像信号を対応する音声信号と関連付けるインジケータ(114)を、前記音声・映像システム(40)により出力する複数の映像信号の各映像信号に割り当てるステップと、
各映像信号及びそれに対応するインジケータを、前記音声・映像システム(40)に配置される複数のディスプレイ(112)のうちの対応するディスプレイに出力するステップと、
を更に備えることを特徴とする請求項24に記載の方法。 - 前記無線通信装置(10)から選択されたインジケータを受信するステップと、前記選択されたインジケータに関係付けられる前記音声信号を前記無線通信装置(10)に送信するステップとを更に有することを特徴とする請求項30に記載の方法。
- 前記確立ステップは、前記無線通信装置(10)からのメッセージであって前記無線通信装置(10)を識別する識別情報を含むメッセージを前記セルラ通信リンクを介して受信したことに応答して実行されることを特徴とする請求項24に記載の方法。
